You are bidding on a lovely old French boudoir bed doll who measures 26" tall. This is an old doll which may require a little"TLC" and or restoration. Reference shows similar made in the 1920s and 1930s by various French and German firms. I do not know her past history. And or what restorations were made, I will try to describe her the best I can. This is a composition shoulder head, with composition hands, fingers intact with cloth body. Body has"long" arms and"long" legs. Lovely face with painted black eyes, single stroke black brows and closed mouth. There is dark eye shadow over the eye lids. She wears red lipstick and blush on the cheeks. Some rubs and scratches throughout face may require a little restoration, up to you. I see no cracks on this shoulder head, marking on the back as shown in photos. ... moreBrunette mohair wig has off center part, sparse throughout the top and back, wear for being close to 100 or so years old. This is a lovely. French advertising sign for'Huile d'Olive de Grasse. Printed in Grasse, France. Circa 1920's, a chromolithograph on board. It measures about 8.25" x 10.75" and there is a swing-up metal loop at the top from which it can hang. There is some light discoloration near the top that you can see in the image but it is in very clean condition overall. Hard to say is this example French or German? It's a bisque doll powder puff in it's original box. The box was originally a deeper blue it's more silver now as evident by the line between the top and the bottom. Some paint loss on the top of her head as shown and no powder within of course but otherwise pretty good shape for an item that is nearly 100 years old. Measures 3" x 4" tall. Sweet! The background colour is a subtle mushroom colour(if you have a Farrow& Ball colour chart it most closely resembles Nr. 264- Oxford Stone) with wonderful soft pink and mauve florals. Freshly laundered and ready to use for all your vintage projects. It measures 84cm x 150cm. I cannot spot any holes, but there may be the odd thread from where several panels were sewn together. This is a great set of 3 antique French brass mirrored wall sconces. Two are in excellent condition. But one needs the arms reattached to the wall plate and a few crystal drops. These antique sconces came out of the remodel of a 1920s home in Hollywood and are in excellent condition. With bright, heavy brass, no cracks in the gorgeous beveled mirrors. Each has a pull chain. The socket covers are slightly yellowed, you may want to replace. One sconce has a slight nick in the mirror backing. Shown in the photos as a bit of a fleck in the mirror. Not noticeable at all. Stunning colors change from aqua blue to orange to gold in the luxurious antique silk metallic textile. Silk and metallic threads create an exotic Asian inspired pattern. Antique to very vintage. Backing is black fabric with a smooth finish of unknown content. Appears as if it was never used and the"stamping" can be slightly seen around the edge. This is a long panel of the most beautiful. Thick, silky cotton, French fabric from the 1920s. The colour is a bright cardinal red and it has a floral. Damask-style pattern in cream. It is a generous piece which measures 46 inches wide x 73 inches long. Both top and bottom edges have finished edges. My last photo shows the rear side of the fabric.
