I made this piece for my own playing. It has a custom 30 throat and tight vintage shaped backbore. It plays incredibly easily and efficiently. New this piece would cost you $185 from my shop. It’s hard to describe this mouthpiece in full detail but I can give you a snapshot into what I designed: I love the great vintage pieces of the 20’s-60’s from such makers as King. Heim, Al Cass, Giardinelli, Vincent Bach(NY) Parduba, and Purviance. I truly believe some of the most fantastic design concepts came out of the“golden age” of trumpet. In the past few years I’ve been very lucky to be able to acquire mouthpieces from many of the world’s greatest players. One of the pieces I’ve loved so much is the special mouthpiece made for one of my heroes, Clark Terry. His piece, which was based of a Gustat Heim, had an incredibly efficient“vee” shape while not making the tone brittle or strident. I think the V-cupped shapes have both wonderful ease/efficiency and an incredible tone. For this piece I modified the rim and cup to make it more accessible to today’s modern player. Clark’s original rim design was VERY flat… this one is still flat but not nearly as pronounced as the original. The diameter of the piece

Up for bid is a highly collectible late 1800's German WMFM(Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) silver plated handled basket. The"M" at the end of WMFM identifies the piece as being brass based and was used circa 1880-1918. Condition is very good vintage with no physical damage. There is;however. Wear to the silver plate throughout the basket and mild corrosion located along the inside base of the basket(please review photos) Basket measures approx. 7" in total height(basket height approx. 1 3/4" 6 3/4" x 7 3/4" in width, 3 1/4" diameter along the base. this is an exquisite rare antique cut crystal and a silver plated brass desk top inkwell. from the late 1800's the base is made from a very thick cut crystal and has a groove in the front to hold a single pen. the top is a silver plated brass that has brass shining through from ware and age and gives it a wonderful aged look. it opens and closes on a hinge in the back and locks with a clasp mechanism in the front. it measures 3 3/4 x 3 inches by 2 1/2 inches tall. wonderful piece. The top may have been spring loaded at one point but still works without. Albert Sidney Aloe was in business for himself in St. Louis from 1867- 1876 as A.S. Aloe. When he went into partnership and changed the company name. This lasted until 1880, when he was back by himself as A.S. Aloe& Company. I'm sure this forceps is from his first company venture. It is heavy duty and long. Measuring 12" It was possibly used for extracting bullets, as well as other uses. Good condition with slight finish wear, hinge point is tight with no wear play, and works freely.

Beautiful Small Vintage/Antique Marked Silver Plate on Brass Covered Dish
I think this is very old. I imagine Victorian. But not sure as I can not identify this piece as markings are very worn. I can only make out a crown with an X under it. Heavy tarnish is apparent. It is very worn. I still think this is a beautiful piece. It measures 7" diameter and 4.5" high. Add a pretty vintage glass bowl and you have a perfect butter server. It is brass under silver plate that has worn away. The rim is decorated ornately with shells and leaves. The top has a lovely finial and the shape is almost gourd-like. I think this is a very special piece, but do not use silver at all. I am pricing this to sell. Very cheap. No reserve. Happy bidding.

Vintage Russian Box 2 headed Eagle Silver Plate/Brass Silver Trinket Cigarette
This is a fantastic old box with great detail. I will try to describe this beauty but please take a look at all the photos. This box is highly embossed. On the top is a two headed eagle wearing a crown surrounded by grapes and vines. On all four sides is shows urns with grapes spilling out. When you open this there is another eagle with his head to the left. Below him is a church or palace. In the bottom is a curved mirror well. The bottom or underside is also mirrored. The box is on four raised feet. This box is a mystery to me. I'm not sure what it was used for. I feel the curved mirror base had a purpose. The other thing that I'm not sure of is what it is made of. It's heavy. A magnet does Not stick to the embossed part but does stick to the mirrored bottom. At first I thought this was some form of spelter( but magnet would ... morestick) with a silver plate finish but now I do believe it's brass with a silver finish. I'm sorry I can not be sure. There are no markings. Condition is excellent. Measures about 4 3/4" across 3 1/2" wide and stands just over 2" tall. Maybe this was used for small cigarettes. Matches, maybe medals or pins. German Figural Gilt Brass Silver Plate Footed Dresser Trinket Box Erhard & Söhne
Lovely Late Victorian/ Early Art Nouveau Style Figural Gilt Brass& Silver Plate Footed Dresser/ Trinket Box. This is a lovely footed dresser box. It is of the Victorian style but not period. I believe it is early 20th century. It is very pretty with detailed embossed design and Victorian faces around the outer band. It is made of brass and white metal and has gold gilt and silver plating. There are no marks at all. The inside has old stuffing under a red velour fabric. The cabriole legs give the box a very elegant look. It stands 4 3/4" tall and is 5 3/4" long and 3 3/4" deep. The hinged lid closes nicely. I find no damage at all. There are some slight age scratches to silver. This piece is rather heavy weighting over 3 lbs. before packing. Very Nice Red Star 303 Brass Silver chrome nickel plate Fire Extinguisher EMPTY
This is a very nice 303 with very little finish loss and I mean very little the only thing wrong with this extinguisher is the original hose is missing and the ring on the cap is missing about 1.50 of the ring. If you win this auction I work for a place that molds brass items. So I could have this fixed but it would take some time to get it done. I would send tank right away and send cap when done But when done it would be polished up very nice and fixed. Can has a few minor scratches and a few minor dents. With lid it stands 23.50" tall. I cannot find another one with this good of finish so I am going to put it on a fixed price auction and take offers. Don't let the high starting price scare you I am open to any decent offers.
