Here is a fabulous mutton fat jade bangle bracelet trimmed in 14K yellow gold. The beautiful piece is Hatian(where it was mined) and is of nefrite jade along with 14kt gold. A true statement piece! The inside diameter is 2 1/2" and the outside diameter is 3 7/16" The total weight is 88 grams(please keep in mind that most of the weight is from the jade) The metal has been professionally. ANTIQUE JADE bangle jadeite 1920s 30s coin silver chinese vintage mutton fat
Wonderful antique jadeite bangle. Originally purchased in Hong Kong prior to my use of it. It is believed to date from the 20s or 30s, and has an extremely unique style. While the rough silver hinges are not for everyone, a certain eye will agree that it gives a one-of-a-kind edge to this otherwise elegant bracelet. The metal is unknown, but appears to be coin silver. It was purchased as genuine jadeite, and I believe it to be so, though it has not been tested. The bracelet opens with a hinge, and closes with a screw. The only caveat is that it is extremely small, measuring just under 2" across the inner opening of the bracelet. For those with slender wrists, this is truly ideal-it is very hard to find so small a bangle-but please be sure to measure your wrist to know that it will suit you.
