Vintage Unusual Small Leg of Mutton gun rifle breakdown leather hard case You are bidding on this unusually small leg of mutton breakdown gun case by B. A. T. S. Co. It does not have a strap but does have a loop that may have been used to attach it to a belt-I am just not sure. Case is only 20 inches long and 5 ½ inches wide at the widest part at the top and 2 ½ inches deep. It appears to be entirely original including the stitching. 3 VERY unusual metal (silver?) square ancient beads for belt/necklace?
These three beads were found in a box of trade beads from a vintage estate. The couple had traveled to Africa in the 70's and purchased many beads. Some which we could identify as being Roman. They also traveled to Puru. I have not been able to find out anything about these three pieces. They are made of a silver painted metal with two small pearl-like irregular beads on the center piece. There is NO sign of rust to the metal! I googled both sides of the beads for an image search and nothing came up. I am not sure if they were once part of a necklace or a belt. They possibly could be Asian, Roman, Egyptian? Just do not know! Any information would help! The squares measure 1" square and 1/2" thick. The bead holes are on the sides. The two little pearl-like beads are irregular and probably not from a man made material. It was produced to be a wall pocket, it is almost a 1/2 size of a Jug, it is 9 1/2" on the back side(wall side) about 10 1/2" from handle to handle, 6 1/2" across the open rim at the top and 10" inside(deep) There is a Mark inside of the jug, it is a Triangle with 3 letters inside, I think it is T.D.S but I am not sure? See photos) I have never seen one like it this size. There are no chips or cracks only light grazing(cracking) in the finish. Insurance is included in the shipping cost.

Vintage Hawaii Photo, Ok. 4 years ago I bought a Hawaii photo album complied by the same person, photographer, library or museum? At the time I thought the numbering system were just random but now after buying this second album they were part of a HUGE Photo collection. This Album starts with numbers 27,300 and went to 27,399 most of which were Hawaii. Wish I had more info but that's it. Some of the photos in this Album look like they were from 1912- 1915 era with some into the late 1920s. So this giant collection must have been complied into the albums in the late 20s? The Album was the style where you would just slip the photo in and the only thing securing it was the small gum sticker. The second picture was taken while in the Album page before I removed it from the Album. The first pic is with just the gum sticker and the what was ... moreleft of the album page with the gummed sticker. May be some candle wax residue in bowl. There was a fair amount of dust on this item when it was photographed and shows especially on the jagged rim of the bowl. ADDED DETAILS: This is an unusual piece depicting a 4-legged figure with a bowl/vessel on its back. The face is typical for the region-slit eyes. Beaked nose and broad spool ears. The high headress becomes part of the razor-jagged-edge of the bowl. The bowl is broad and deep and is dark. Possibly from incense or small ceremonial burnings. The rocker features cut-out slats. An arched panel and beveled ears. There is evidence of an early paper label just under the seat cushion(see pics) Although I was not able to identify the chair, it does have strong resemblances of a quality maker like Stickley or Limbert. The chair is being sold with its ORIGINAL leather spring cushion and overall it measures 40 1/2' tall x 29 1/2' wide x 34' deep. The chair has been easily disassembled for shipping. Description: This is a good antique Victorian parlor table or lamp table from the early 1900s in very good condition. The piece appears to be made of walnut and is very well made. The legs have a great barley twist with central finial at the bottom. It has excellent two-tier form with a great usable lower shelf.
