RARE ANTIQUE "EPNS" SILVERPLATE ORNATE SUGAR BOWL W/GREEK HELMET PULL ON LID
You are bidding on a rare antique silverplate(EPNS) hinged lid. Sugar bowl. The silverplate sugar bowl does not seem to have the name of a maker but does have EPNS marked on the bottom(pls. see the final photo) The silverplate is in rough condition with wear and pitting and the hinged lid does not completely close(see photos) The design is incredibly ornate with what appears to be hand etched flowers, leaves and the pull on the hinge is a very detailed Roman helmet. Some patina( seems evident. This sugar bowl is heavy and weighs approximately 14 ounces. It is approximately 4 1/2" tall and approximately 3" in diameter. This is definitely interesting.

This silverplate server came from an auction in Vermont. The bottom rim is marked English Silver Corp MRRS made in USA TR. There may have been a cover at one time. It measures 19" long including the handle. 12" in diameter at the top to the outside rim, and about 2 1/2" high. The copper is showing through inside the bowl. There are rough patches, wear/use marks, and discoloration on the rim and inside of the bowl. It weighs two pounds, 8 ounces.

Incredibly Gorgeous Ornate Antique Silverplate Vegetable Casserole Serving Bowl With Lid Very Elegant and extremely Antique(OLD) serving bowl with ORNATE rope design around the bowl lip and matching design on lid handle as well. The craftsmanship on this old piece is superb. The lid also has an etched Greek Key Design encircling the entire circumference. Bowl and lid are in very good condition. But it does have some minor surface scratches inside and small dings hardly noticeable(obviously from use in another century) and needs some polishing. I don't know the manufacturer since age has worn off the stamp. But there is a number"302" engraved on the underside lip. The piece is heavy. This Towle Margaux silver plated punch bowl set is comprised of the punch bowl and eight cups. The punch bowl is extremely dirty. Tarnished, and feels rough to the touch, as if pitted, but we did not find any dents. We are selling this"as is" due to the fact that the bowl may need some professional attention, perhaps a power buffing? perhaps new plating? to bring it back to its original sparkle and luster. We feel that it is worth restoring this Towle piece due to its ornate decoration and monumental size and weight. The eight cups are also tarnished, but not as badly tarnished as the punch bowl. You can polish these up yourself with your favorite polish/silver cream. The punch bowl is marked"Towle Silverplated" on the underside. It weighs 6 pounds. And measures 10 1/8" tall by 14 7/8" wide. Stunning footed silver punch bowl. Tray, ladle and 12 cups. All in very good condition, some in mint condition. The beautiful ornate tray measures 19" across and has some surface scratches. The large punchbowl has beautiful flowers on it surrounding an area perfect for monogramming. It measures approx. 9" high and 15" across the top. The outside is in almost mint condition, the interior shows shallow surface scratches. The 12 cups are in excellent condition, with some marks in 2 of them as shown in the picture. This is a stunning little bowl measuring approx. 2" tall and 7 1/2" across the rise of the foot is approx. 1" The design is ottoman influence but the bowl does not have a makers mark. The rim of the bowl is rolled turned under and was probably machine applied so I'm thinking that the bowl is dated after 1940. Very good used condition with slight surface scratches but no dents. There is some tarnish but the bowl should polish up very nicely. There is one tiny dark spot inside the bowl that will probably buff out- see photos- it is hidden in the design but visable when the light is just right. Measures 14" x 10" x 4" tall. Logo engraved. As pictured. Has a few teeny tiny dot ares of very minor discolor? Not worth mentioning. But I always do.no effect on the beauty of this silver! This is a very nice vintage antique silver-plate ornate footed bowl by the Sheridan Silver Co. It measures 3 3/4" tall by 14" wide by 10 1/4" deep and is in what we consider to be good overall condition. There is some plate wear and oxidation spots at the inside of the bowl and some light wear throughout. Please consult the pictures carefully before bidding. We have a vintage ornate silver plate bowl with double handles and intricate designs. This piece is very classy. No flaking or any noticeable imperfections at all! The original sticker on the bottom should read"Tarnish Resistant, No Silver Polish, Japan" but is torn almost all the way off. I have tried to find this exact piece online, but cannot find it anywhere. It must be rare! It almost glows a beautiful gold reflection in center. Outside has fabulous pattern and antique design. Would make a great gift! Measures about 5" Diameter and 3.5" Tall.
