What I do know is this mark was created some time in the early 60s. I also know the Paul Revere pattern is discontinued just not sure in what year. I do expect the bowl to be from the 60s to 80s. This bowl is pattern number YC778. The bowl is 2 1/2" tall. 5" diameter at top rim and 2 3/4" diameter at the base rim. Vintage Gorham Silverplate Paul Revere bowl. Stamped with Gorham EP YC781 on the bottom of the bowl. Measures approximately 9" wide from edge to edge and is 4 1/4" tall. Foot base measures approximately 4 14/16" wide. Stamped with Gorham EP YC779 Measures approximately 6 1/2" wide from edge to edge and is 3" tall. Foot base measures approximately 3 1/2" wide. The bowls need to be cleaned with a silver polish but other than that they are in great shape. There are surface scratches both inside and outside of the bowls. Paul Revere Gorham Silverplate Bowl YC781- 9"R x 4.5"H Approx Late 1950's
Very nice Gorham Paul Revere Silverplate bowl. Approximately 1950s. Possibly 1960s. Gorham is a maker of fine well made sought after silverware and hollow ware. This bowl shines nicely with some cleaning marks and a couple of very minor pits. But with any used item this age, not many are perfect, but it is a very nice serving piece. It would look great on a table at holiday dinners or for caterers also. It is a 9” round x 4.5"H and is a YC781 Paul Revere bowl with a pedestal Bottom. It has the hallmarks E-anchor-P stamped on it. With Gorham engraved over it and a tag that says Gorham Silver. E P mark indicates that the bowls are Electro-Plated and not Sterling silver. The Shield around the Anchor indicates that they were made in the mid to late 1900's and from what my research has found.
