This is a fantastic antique store display fixture. Not certain of which accessories(scarves. Hats, ties, etc. it was used for, or if it was used for articles of clothing. All original except for what I would call the"set" screw on the main shaft as shown. Overall, a very rare and cool store fixture. The height is adjustable, so at it shortest dimension it is 17" tall, and fully extended it is 27" tall. The base is roughly 3 7/8" X 3 7/8" square. The top piece is 6" wide and roughly 2" tall. Gibson SG Gothic Morte Special with Gibson Hardcase Vintage Reissue Strings
Here we have one of my favorite Gibson SG's. I've played and owned a few in my day and this one has some Raw Mojo! It has that thin finish is wears off quickly and gives you a"vintage worn look" by actually wearing out(but quicker then would happen with a glossy finish) I believe this is one of the earlier Gothic's from the 90's due to the half moon and star inlay on the 12th fret. The guitar is in great shape other then the wear on the finish and a crack on the pickguard which looks kind of intentional(a pick or two fit perfectly) and it's right above the neck pickup treble side. The guitar comes with a genuine Gibson Hardcase. Don't be fooled by its"Dark Sinister Looks" it can cover Metal to Jazz with no effort.

Up for auction is this antique brass flag pole finial in the shape of a gothic medieval halberd. This is a solid piece. Well made with a fabulous age acquired patina. Weighs 3 1/4 pounds and is 13 1/2 inches long. The halberd sits on top of a sphere, under that there is a flattened disk that has 2 holes approximately 1/2 of an inch apart. The bottom column is open and has 2 holes directly across from each other. Bottom diameter is about 1 1/4 inches. A quick google search for halbard finial revealed- The halberd is used for the flagstaffs of flag officers other than the CNO and fleet admiral and for civil officials entitled to a salute of at least 11 but not more than 17 guns. VINTAGE: Victorian/ 1800s(educated guess) DESCRIPTION: Beautiful and interesting pendant necklace. Comprised of chain and pendant. The chain was made in Germany. The cross is marked Czechoslovakia. This is how I bought the item, so I'm not sure if it came originally married or not. The cross is made of 7 square cut garnets and many small round ones surrounding it. The cross is raised off the surface-very 3 dimensional. The chain is comprised of gold oval shapes. Each are set with bezel-set stones. Alternating amethyst and garnet. The pattern from the end is 1 garnet, 4 amethyst, 3 garnet, 2 amethyst, 3 garnet to the chain. Then it reflects the same stones on the other side of the chain. The ovals are connected by 2 jump rings each. I had the stones checked and they are garnets and amethyst. The metal is not gold. The chain looks more ... moregold in color than the cross. PICTORIAL HISTORY OF THE MEDITERRANEAN AIR WAR Volume Two(CHRISTOPHER F. SHORES) This second volume of the Air War in the Mediterranean relates to the fortunes of the Royal Air Force from May 1943 to the end of the war. The reduction of the island fortress of Pantelleria from the air. The invasions of Sicily and Italy, where Allied troops first set foot on European soil to begin the long advance to final victory, and subsequent operations over Italy, Southern France, Yugoslavia ... moreand Greece, are covered here. Following the actions over Sicily. Allied air power was not again to be seriously challenged, allowing ground support to be improved to a fine art. Something of a sideshow to the main events unfolding elsewhere was the Royal Air Force’s own‘private war’ over the Aegean fought by Eastern Air Command. The adventure of these operations– over Kos. Leros, Crete, Rhodes and other islands– is told here in some detail, opening up a fascinating, though little-known aspect of the air war. The birth and growth of the Balkan Air Force. Set up to assist Tito’s partisans in Yugoslavia, is also traced. The book end with the massive air assault on the positions of the German Army Group‘C’ in Northern Italy which was to assist the Allied armies in utterly smashing this well-equipped force in a matter of days. This volume is enhanced with 96 pages of halftone photographs. This 1973 1 st edition hardback publication is in very good overall condition considering its age.
