It has a PERFECT patina. And was acquired from a village near where I worked in 1978. This very old piece has beautiful patina. Is uncleaned. You will not find anything like this again. It is 5.5 cm( 2.2 inches) long. 4 cm( 1.5 inches) tall at the hoop and. 1 cm( 4 inches) thick and weighs 60 grams. The patina is perfect and uncleaned. This is one exceptionally beautiful and solid piece of handcrafting. The lock works by shoving the key in the front of the lock and pushing until the tail piece comes out making it able to be put in the lock loos of a door or cabinet. Neat work from many travels in South and SE Asia! No one else will get anything like this.

In the ancient Mediterranean cultures which imported the stone from Ceylon, sapphire was regarded as an antidote to black magic and effects of evil spirits, and provided protection against sorcery. It was believed to banish evil spirits and send negative spells back to the sender. Here’s a pair of gorgeous, richly colored natural dark navy blue sapphire precious gemstones from Mogok, Burma. The gemstones were hand crafted and finished by a 19th century Russian artisan, part of an heritage renown for the production of the elaborate gemstones and jewelry of the Czars of Medieval, Renaissance, and Victorian Russia. The results are two exquisite and incredibly richly colored precious gemstones with lots of depth and gorgeous tone. Known as a"star" sapphire because of an optical effect known as an"asterism" oriented crystal inclusions cause this six-rayed-star light

ANTIQUE STANDING CARVED WOODEN LUCKY BUDDHA ORIGINAL ONE PIECE 100+ YEARS OLD NR
SquareTrade © AP6.0 ANTIQUE WODEN STANDING VERY"LUCKY" BUDDHA ORIGINAL ONE PIECE CERTIFICATE OF ANTIQUITY-18TH CENTURY- 51" x 18" SIZE Every living being has the same basic wish– to be happy and to avoid suffering. Even newborn babies. Animals, and insects have this wish. It has been our main wish since beginningless time and it is with us all the time, even during our sleep. We spend our whole life working hard to fulfil this wish. Since this world evolved. Human beings have spent much time and energy improving external conditions in their search for happiness and a solution to their many problems. What has been the result? Instead of their wishes being fulfilled. Human suffering has continued to increase while the experience of happiness and peace is decreasing. This clearly shows that we need to find a true method ... morefor gaining pure happiness and freedom from misery. When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations we tend to regard the situation itself as the problem. But in reality whatever problems we experience come from the side of the mind. If we were to respond to difficult situations with a positive or peaceful mind they would not be problems for us; indeed we may even come to regard them as challenges or opportunities for growth and development. Problems arise only if we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind. Therefore. If we want to be free from problems we must learn to control our mind. BEAUTIFUL COLLECTORS ITEM! I have compiled a wealth of unique treasures. Antiques and artworks from Asia with a fantastic and mysterious history from travels, China, Japan, Bali, Tibet, Burma/Myanmar, Cambodia, Taiwan, Philippines, Laos and Vietnam. My fascination with Asia inspired me to move here from England and become an avid collector/buyer of Asian oriental antique statues. Carvings, puppets, bronzes and unique objects, other items have been from years of collecting and accumulating from estates, private collections and auctions. STUNNING 18th CENTURY WOOD BURMESE KINGS WARRIOR FIGURES In excellent condition for their age with no damage apart from some paint loss which is to be expected for a piece this old. Made from solid old teak wood. PLEASE NOTE Due to the size. Shape and being slightly fragile, some pieces will have to be specially wrapped, boxed and insured ... morefor loss only which shows in the shipping cost, I do not intend to take any chances with these pieces, better safe than sorry, it would be heart breaking to think it arrived broken and deserves looking after.
