Vintage French Provincial Style Dancing Ballerina Jewelery Box Armoire
I think the jewelry box is from the seventies but. I could be wrong. The ballerina spins and the music box plays Love Story. The drawers all open and close but the red velvet type paper needs to be glued down. The top part is missing. It was scrolled with finials. I kind of like it better this way. It doesn't look as tacky. It is 12" high 9" wide 4 1\2 deep. There is just room for rings. Small earrings and a few necklaces not much more. Is made out of plastic and is painted to look distressed. There is a clock and it works battery included.You have to take out the drawers to take it out. There are no missing or loose parts besides the top part of the box as I mentioned. Here is a wood Jewelry Armoire/ Chest. Stands 11" high. Length is 8 3/4" and width is 5" Two etched glass doors with a floral design. Inside the one there is a rotating necklace hanger, 2 compartments and mirrored back. The other one has 9 long ring slots. One pull out drawer for storage. Pink velvet lining. oak wood table top vintage jewelry music box armoire dresser bureau spindle
This is a vintage piece but I am unsure of the time frame. I purchased it at an antique shop years ago. I believe the wood is pine but the finish is oak. The insides of the drawers and compartments are all in IMPECCABLE condition. This armoire also has a mirror inside the biggest compartment. The window on the big compartment has a beautifully etched floral design. It reminds me of frosted glass. Also inside the big compartment is a spindle for all of your necklaces. The spindle functions and looks perfect. The only flaws that I see on this armoire are a few marks on the back(see last picture) and a few marks on the top. So its not in absolute perfect condition but it is pretty darn close. All of these pictures are of the actual item for sale. So other than a few marks. This armoire is in unused condition and you can expect all of the drawers, ... moreplus the inside to be perfect. This is also a music box. I will update the ad shortly with the song that music box plays. I am thinking the music box needs a new battery? because the song plays on and off. For instance. You will wind it up, it won't play the song and then you will go do something else and all of sudden you will hear the song play. So know this in advance. It plays the song when it is in the mood. VINTAGE 1930s ARMOIRE 2 DOOR WITH DRAWERS AND CLOTHES HANGER
This is an old vintage armoire that belonged to my grandparents. I can remember it in the attic in the 1950's where they left it when they moved to their retirement home at the shore. So they thought it was too old to take with them back then. It's a walnut color, but I'm pretty sure the wood is oak. Cosmetically, it's in good shape, though there's definite crazing on the doors, a sign of age. The rest of the piece shines up nicely and Old English makes the doors look awfully good despite the crazing. The armoire has two doors. Behind one is a set of drawers. Behind the other is a clothes hanger, so it will hold a bit of everything. It has metal wheels, so it will roll, but I'd recommend putting pads under the wheels if you have wood floors. Wardrobe, armoire all in one and is early 1900's bedroom furniture, as is evidenced by the mushroom drawer pulls, the sideways clothes hanging closet and brass Yale drawer lock. It is solid wood and uses half-blind dove tail joints. Measurements: Overall: 37 inches wide. 20 inches deep and 56 ¾ inches high. Knobs: 1 1/8 inches deep/ Drawers: 18 inches wide. 9 ¾ inches high-all except top drawer which is 6 ¾ inches high. Door: 15 ¾ inches wide and the inside is 19 inches deep and 15 ½ inches wide. Note that along the inside closet by the door hinges are cracks in the wood and the exterior has wear marks. Which can be seen in the photos. I don’t have a key for the lock. Thanks for looking. THIS IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY A pre-owned cedar wardrobe tagged inside with a metallic label from Lakeside Craft Shops. Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It measures 35" wide x 75" tall x 25" deep. It is easily be taken apart for moving and I have done that more than a few times. I used it as a closet. A computer stand and for storing out-of-season bedding. It has been painted the color it is now which is Colonial Pear. When I used it as a computer stand, holes were drilled into the back to accommodate wiring. It would make a nice TV stand. The condition is mostly very good except that when breaking it down this last time, the floor of the closet spit along the grain lines in two places. It still fits together tightly because of the way it split. The door needs a catch. It has served me well over the years since I purchased it at Goodwill ... moremany years ago. It is hand painted and ALL original(including glass and clasps) It is in excellent condition and NOTHING has been repaired or replaced. It is stenciled 1872 on all sides. Large vintage antique armoire wardrobe nice needs TLC LOOK
Very nice old armoire/wardrobe. I am not sure of the age. But I know I was given this as a child(around 7) and I am 40. It came from my aunt who had it for 30 years that I know of. so its possibly 70 years old? I could not find a name or mark on it anywhere.It stands 52 1/2 inches tall. The legs keep it 5 inches off the ground. The front legs are a carved design but the back ones have had blocks added to them. Not sure if they had designs too that broke off or what. It has always been like this since I have had it. Its 18 1/2 inches wide(19 1/2 if you count the decorative lip around the top) Its 37 inches across(38 if you count the lip) The doors stay shut with a little latch thing inside. The doors are 41 x 17 and 1 inch thick. Its divided inside in 2. One side is probably for hanging items, but there was never a rod in there to hang anything. ... moreThat side is 16 1/2 x 21 and 46 inches tall. The other side has 3 shelves. Top one is 14 inches across, 15 inches back to front and 15 inches tall. The middle one is 14 inches across, 15 inches back to front and 10 inches tall. The bottom one is 14 inches across, 16 inches back to front and 20 inches tall. Cool decorative features around door knobs and at top, bottom and sides. Knobs are original. It has lost some of the wood on top, sides, on door. You can see in pictures. It has been painted outside 100 times. Last time was about 12 years ago my sister and I stripped it and tried to stain it cherry. Crappy job. But if someone is really god with furniture you could get this to look brand new. Nice solid piece of furniture. I have no room for it anymore. This will have to be a pick up only, and I don't have a car big enough to meet you anywhere sorry. you will have to come here to get it.
