You are bidding on an antique peanut/bubble gum machine from the 1920's made by Columbus Vending Company. It appears to have been repainted at some time. Does have some chips in the paint but still in good condition for it's age. Glass globe is original and is in good condition with a few minor chips arount the inside top rim. Can not be seen unless taken apart. Has original sticker on globe which reads- Columbus Vendor Delicious Goodies nutritious and Healthful. Insert one penny then pull lever. has star in circle and reads Mfd. by the Columbus Vending Co. Columbus. OH. Top has 18 embossed on underneath. Lever that you slide to get gum/peanuts appears to have a crack but still works great. See photo#6. Not noticable unless you are looking for it. We have put a penny in the machine and it appears to work properly. Bottom plate appears ... moreto have a crack on the bottom but someone has put a metal plate on the underneath to hold it together. This is an antique silver clarinet. It was made in Cleveland Ohio. Year unknown, but from what I can tell was from the 1920's-30's. My father told me it looks like the one he played in school, 70+ years ago, as he is 88 years old. At one time in it's life it was played by a boy named Garcia, in 1952, as the paper that was in side it had some information on the person, and school in which it was used. I will include the yellowed piece of paper that came with it. I have had this clarinet for over 10 years. The case opens and closes tight. It probably needs servicing to get it to play pretty, but hasn't been serviced since I had it. It is a pretty cool instrument, and I hope someone will appreciate it like I did. The Silver Department at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design was established in Jerusalem in 1908. Yehia Yemini(1896-1983) studied in the department's first class. Yaacov began his studies at Bezalel in 1947. Graduated in 1950, and joined Yehia in his studio, supplementing his father's traditional lines with more stylized and abstract ones. Boaz started"playing" with his father and grandfather in the family studio as a child. He followed in their footsteps and studied in the gold and silver department at Bezalel, where he graduated with honors in 1981. Nice Collectible Antique Vintage Cash Register Toy - Like National
Here's a really nice collectible toy register is add to your cash register collection. This toy register stands about 10 inches tall and the base is 7.3 inches square. So it's a nice size. The wooden base is 8.5 inches square. It looks like the brass National Cash Registers. The bottom seems to be made out of brass(bottom sides and drawer front) while the top part is made out of brass colored plastic. I don't see any markings on the register to indicate any maker. I think there was probably a top sign at one time. There is a slot for one on the top piece, but no sign. One small 1/8 diameter discoloration(looks copper colored) on the top front(maybe it will clean off with some effort) There are 5 keys. One to open the drawer(works) keys for 5,10, and 25 cents(all work but advance the money counter by 5 cents only) and one marked ... moreC which must be to clear the total. None of the money indicators stay up when the keys are depressed so the Clearance keys doesn't seem relevant. May thats just the way it works, I don't know. There is a slot on the front to deposit coins. Coins just drop into the money drawer. Easy to take apart, but I'm not doing it. Looks like real marble on the front too. 1955, Antique Johnson Co. Manual Card Shuffler Model No.50 Chicago USA orig. box
Up for bid is a card shuffler made by Johnson manufacturing comapny of Chicago. Illinois. The shuffler is manual and is operated by turning a crank. It can shuffle up to 3 decks but we only tested it with one deck. The crank on the side is turned by hand and it moves 2 metal rods. One on each side, that has gripping wheels that grab the cards. The patent was issued in 1955 and the metal box and the original packaging looks to be from the 1950's. The card shufler's metal box surface is in almost perfect condition with just a couple of small abrasions on one side. The hand crank moves easily enough but sticks just a little for about 10% of the turn. There are no doubt gears inside and they have to mesh together. The slight difficulty in turning in this 10% part of the turn is probably due to gears slightly binding at this part of the ... moreturn. There is also a slight rattle from a small piece of metal inside but we did not open it to see what it was. The original packaging box is in fair condition and does not have a top. Overall. Up for sale are two souvenir spo ons. 1) Greek markings are Delohes/ Delphi. Also 800 for silver and Silver is also stamped on it. Measures 4 7/8" long. The bowl is 1 1/2" x 1" at it's widest. This is in very good condition. No cracks or repairs. 2) Egyptian or some European culture. Markings on the stem area there are some hallmarks the center one is a bell. The other two on either side I cannot make out. On the bowl there is another marking maybe Egyptian or Hebrew. The bowl has a hammered finish on the outside edge. Up for a no reserve auction. Is a very beautiful, antique sterling silver original Victorian Era bonnet brush made by William Kerr. The brush has a very ornate design featuring a lovely lady with flowers surrounding her. It is really gorgeous, and high quality. The brush measures 5 5/8" by 1 1/2" The sterling portion of the brush is in overall excellent condition(which is very rare for a baby brush! There are no splits. Holes or repairs. There are some small dings on the handle, and a couple of very small dings on the edge. There is monogram of"A" on the front. The bristles are in overall good condition, with no major loss in any area. The brush is clearly marked"Sterling 1447" with the Kerr axe hallmark. A silver comb which is hallmarked on the edge HFD& Co(H F Daltrey& Co- registered February 1906) t. Lion, leopard- which dates it to London 1914.
