A great old pre-1900 set of Cathedral top Mexican courtyard doors. Each measure 32 and three-quarter inches by 7 foot 2 1/2 inches and the hinges extend an additional one and three-quarter inches. There are all sorts here including wood ones from the victorian period. A few early metal ones, and a weird brass figural rabbit. I think the rabbit may not be a door stop but it sure looks like one. It may just be a draw pull. The most awesome is that massive brass/bronze one as seen close-up in the last 4 pictures. It is simply massive and beautiful! The condition of the stops are generally good with varying degrees of typical wear from age and use, as pictured. One is missing a screw, another has some nail holes, and none have been cleaned. This was the"mystery piece" from the last auction. We all discussed and pondered and I think my husband came up with the winning idea. We think this was mounted to the wall and the arm slid over the door to keep out intruders or just keep the door closed! There are 2 mounting hole on the center piece. The bar slides and one end has worn down from use. One side has a"V" notch. What has me stumped is the holes shown in picture 5. Ideas? This one one cool old piece. Penn Antique Restoration. 34"x83"x1.75" Antique Victorian Entry Door w/Window& 2 Panels. Distressed. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door has a solid pine core covered with 1/4" thick, quatersawn oak veneers on the exterior side, and 1/4" thick heartpine veneers on the interior side. The door is painted on both sides. Please note that heartpine is the non-living. Core of a pine tree, and not the soft, outer, living sap-wood. Since it takes 30 years for a pine tree just to develop just 1” of heart stock it is rarer, harder, more durable, more insect& rot resistant, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and is much more valuable than the cheap, pine lumber that is commonly found at most hardware stores. Also, please don't think that"veneer" ... moremeans inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/4" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The door could be sanded and refinished several times before the door would need to be re-veneered. The door has a lhalf-length window. On the exterior side. There is a stepped ledge with carved motif below the window. Also notice the beautiful applied molding around the 2, raised panels below-nice accents! Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. Condition: The door must have sat along it's lock stile edge in some water for a long period of time. As the wood(both veneer and core strips) along that side have rotted away. Most of the lock stile's veneer is intact, and the partially broken portions could be replaced.

Single Drawer/2 Door DK Wood, Musical Jewelry Box
Up for Auction today is a beautiful Jewelry case that is pre-owned and in very good condition. A really pretty accent to the glass doors is the intricate etchings in each door of one single flower. Stem and leaves. In the back of the case is a m irror that looks like its new. Upon close inspection. There is an imperfection in the felt lining on the left side of the inside. The whole side is covered well, but the wood appears to be uneven. Age will cause the wood to change shape especially if the climate is humid most of the time. All of the hardware looks to have done really well and both doors open straight and even. The doors are held closed with magnets mounted on the inside top of each door. The gold tone necklace holder shows no chips, or wear and spins freely as it should. As for the outside, I cannot tell what kind of wood this is ... moremade of, it is darker than the pictures show because of the lighting issue. The varnish has held up very nicely and I can't find any that is missing, as with age, some tiny bits will crack and peel in places. Also a result of the humidity in the area. The winding key on the music box located in the back turns freely and the music box itself sounds like its in good shape ie no missing notes in the song that I could tell. The music is slow and pretty. The song is"Somewhere My Love" This beautiful jewelry case would be nice for any age lady from 11 to 111. These are great vintage Japanese door pulls! In Japan. Sliding doors are very common and these are used in the sliding doors. These gorgeous door pulls shapes are like flowers They are from the"昭和" showa period" The"showa" period is from 1926-1989. These are smaller than our other door pulls. Also while the backs are flat the"hole" is curved on both ends They measure 5.6 x 1.3cm(2.2 x.5 inches) The"hole" measures 5.2cm x 7mm(2 x.3 inches) These are vintage but have never been used. Vintage wood stove door handle pull grip. Nice art deco. Stamped ID numbers"99" Swivels good. threads on shaft good and nut turns. About 4 1/2 inches long and 3 inches wide. I do not know exactly how old it is but it is old. It has surface rust(not pitted) Aging and wear as would be expected on this old of an item. See photos for condition. I do not see any serious cracks. Dents, repairs, nor damage. It is vintage and in as found condition and will look even better if properly cleaned. 1946 SEEBURG TRASHCAN JUKEBOX | FRONT DOOR WOOD FRAME and PIANO HINGE
This is a nice solid front door from a 1946 Seeburg Trashcan jukebox. Includes piano hinge and locking mechanism(no key or latching mechanism) Paint is flaking at the bottom. So this will need to be retouched. I don't have time to restore this beauty myself. So I'm parting it out for those of you that do! I'll be posting more parts for this 1946 Seeburg Trashcan in the next week or two. So keep an eye out for more parts soon.

It is not often you get a matching pair of these door stops that match so well so I am listing them as a set. They are 3 1/4" long with out the mounting screw and 1 1/2" in diameter. Just drill a small hole in your baseboard and turn it in and you're ready to go. It has old gray milk paint that has brush marks. A few chips and wear spots. Milk paint is the old method of paint making before enamel paint was being used. It will add that neat old look that you are looking for with small dings. Dents and scratches.
