And not perfect. but perfectly charming. these would be great for"tavern swing doors" for your kitchen. to your patio. these are awesome just sitting about. wow and so one of a kind. no hardware included. they are HUGE and measure 44 1/2" tall. they range from 21" across to 20 1/4" across. this is due to the fact that the sides are not evenly cut. so they are not perfectly symmetric

This is the door latch from an iron wood or coal burning stove made by Culter& Proctor Stove Co of Peoria. Illinois in the late 1800s to early 1900s. The initials C&P are stamped into the back. I believe the plating to be nickel, but I am not certain. It has some rust where some of the plating has flaked off. It measures 4" x 3" x 2"This is from an estate find. One of several plated iron stove parts from a box in a basement marked'Misc. metal parts' The newspaper in which the parts were wrapped was from 1965.

Vintage 1978 Wood Spice Rack Mosaic Door
Up for bids is a nice vintage spice rack made in South Paris. Maine by Cornwall Industries. It is in very good condition. The handle is a little loose but I think replacing the screws would probably take care of that. There are no major dents, chips or scratches in the wood or the door. There is a small area on the first"S" in the upper curve where some of the mosaic glass in the lettering is missing. It is a little larger than the eraser on a pencil and in no way takes away from the looks of the cabinet. The front measures 13 X 15 3/4. Antique Wood/Glass Countertop Table Display Case Cube w/ Latching Door & Shelf
This is a charming antique countertop display case with very old ivory colored paint on three sides and the top(the back side and bottom are bare wood) All three painted sides(the door included) are glass and there is a glass shelf on the inside that sits on screws at all four corners. The overall condition is very good and the piece is perfectly useable. But there are a few condition issues I will mention below: The door latch is old and works well. But the latch on the door doesn't match the hardware it latches into on the frame(the door latch looks like brushed nickel and the part on the frame is a black painted metal. There are also a few tiny nail holes above the latch that appear to be where another latch might have been attached at one time, shown in the photos. There are a few chips on the edges of the glass shelf, but there are ... moreno cracks or large chips that would affect it's functionality or overall appearance(the largest chip is shown in the photos) There are no visible chips or cracks on any of the other glass pieces. The small strips of wood that hold the side glass panels in on the inside have been replaced and are not painted, shown in the photos. The wood overall is very good, there are no cracks and all joints are tight but there are a few scuffs, some stains on the paint, some dirt and dust settled in the inside corners, and there is a splinter of wood missing from one of the wooden strips on the inside that holds the glass in the door. None of the issues I mentioned are extremely noticeable or highly detract from the appearance of the piece in any way. The display case measures 11 1/4" L x 11 1/2" W x 12 3/4" H. It will be packed well. Double boxed, and insured during shipping.

Possibly an allegorical depiction with a subliminal message, and would've originally been affixed on either side of an entrance to an 18th century paneled room, such as a library or gentleman's smoking room. The corbels are of European origin, possibly French or English, and would've been for a household of someone of higher social status. Wood Wall Hanging Curio Cabinet Shadow Box Display Shelf Glass Door
Here is a wood curio cabinet/ display shelf unit wall hanger. Stands 18" tall. 12" long, and 4" wide. One glass encased door, and 4 display shelves. The decorative peice on top has raised rose flower design. The shelves are 2 3/4" deep. The wood color is a cherry finish, but I'm pretty sure most of it is a wood veneer. There are a few scratches here and there, and the pull on the door is missing, but can still easily open it. Two hangers on the back side for hanging. Overall a nice little cabinet. What appears to be a matching pair of Side door/ Window Sound panels from an OLD Grandfather clock. 8 1/4 tall by 4 1/2 wide. Cloth is getting pretty weak.I would suggest new cloth before installing. These typically go in the upper side of the clock on each side of the movement to allow the sound of the chime to escape the closed case.
