They are painted white and have a chippy patina. 2 soild ~4 sided pieces. Photos 1- 7 show the full piece columns. 8-12 show the 1/2 columns. The second photo shows how I have used a pair in my home. I added hang hood and heavy wire to the back of the columns. I then added a heavy photo hook to my wall, then I hung the columns to the wall. They each have some damage to the bottoms. Antique clock door part. The door has applied columns on each side. The fronts of the door have mahogany veneer on pine secondary wood. The two original hinges are present. The door frame measures about 13 5/8" tall x 8 11/16" wide. The width including the column overhang is about 9 1/2" The glass measures about 12" x 6 3/4" The door is in good used condition. There are two areas of small veneer loss at the top and bottom panels and one chip to the right top column as pictured. The wood appears to have a recent top sealer coat. The paper face is a dark yellow and has age cracks in it. Measures 5 diameter and has script numerals on the hour marks. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. What I have here is a lot of 5, vintage solid oak turned wood staircase balusters. ... moreIt's a matching set, and they are gorgeous, with a patina that I'd describe as a dark medium. Each one weighs just over 1 1/4 lbs, and measures 30 5/8" longest. That's measuring from the flat end on one end, to the"like a stairstep) raised end on the other side- like the ends on either side in photo 8. The balusters measure 1 1/2" square at the ends, and go down to about 1 3/8" in the center where the wood is turned. They are all in excellent solid and sturdy condition. The finish shows some wear, with one that has more wear on one side than the others. There's very minor scratches, scrapes, nicks and dings that you really have to look for. Two of them have rusty nails that have been pounded down sticking out one end- see my photos. I see some light hairline cracks from age and the dry winter- but very minor and no movement at all- these are strong and beautiful and ready for you! Please ask if you have any questions. The center glass is wavy proving some age. The upper finial on the right pillar has come off. The bottom has a"finial" of sorts that juts down. The upper facade has the head of soldier back from the war. It is removable and will ship along side. The key is inside and it is in shabby chic condition with a splayed end. The movement works and it chimes the half hour and strikes the number of the hour. As always. This will need to be serviced to ensure it proper function as it will get jostled a bit in transit. The overall clock measures approx. 21 1/2" x 12 3/4" x 6 1/2" We are calling it shabby chic due to the missing column top, some collected bumps, and wear to the face and case. Complete Victorian porch set. This set includes 7 columns 114"tall with a 6" X 6" base. One of the bases looks to have been repaired sometime in the past it has been pieced together. A few of the bases are a little soft on the ends. There are 9 main corbels one for each column and 2 for the center columns. There are 28 More corbels that go with this set their are 2 for each column the larger of them go up against the column and the smaller are for the ends of these. It measures 9" x 16" x 10.5" There are two ornamental wood columns on each side of the glass door. It also has a mirror(cracked) and a glass"port hole" surrounded by brass under that.
