There is no horse, roster pig or what ever, what you see is what you get. Add the figure of your choice. The rod measures 3/4 diameter. And 40" long. The large copper ball measures 4" diameter The smaller copper ball measures 2 1/4" diameter The E-W and N-W indicators letters measure 3 3/4" H x 2 3/4" W. And the length is 17" for each one. Antique Smuggler Running Horse Weathervane
Selling a 33" long x 17 3/4" tall running horse weathervane from the the late 19th or very early 20th century. I believe this is a horse called Smuggler. The head isn't cast. It has some bullet dings and a few actual holes. There are also some minor dents. Largest is on one side if it's face. If you had the right tool I think it could be popped back out. I am not messing with it. It doesn't take away much from the horse. It has an older slightly worn gold leafed surface. The support bar is painted black with verdigris showing through. Antique Folk Art Sheet Metal Weathervane Primitive Articulated DONKEY
This charming antique was found at an estate sale.of unknown age and origin. After some research this appears to be part of an old WEATHERVANE or perhaps possibly part of on old sign that hung in front of a shop. This is a wonderfully primitive DONKEY. His head and neck are fashioned separately and loosely bolted to the body- the holes at the base of the neck and at the mouth seem to indicate that once there were wires or string attached so that the head could be manipulated up and down- the head can still be manipulated with no trouble, and I suspect this could be re-wired. The donkey's body is made from two sheets of some sort of metal and then fixed together. See all photos to understand construction. Patina showing age and weathering. About 8" long. 7" tall.

This listing is for a Sulky Racer Brass Desktop Weathervane. I believe it is brass cause of the patina color on it. I have not tried to clean it in any way. You can see by the paint chip on his head that it is zinc and not copper. A magnet will only stick to the red section of rod, above his thigh on both sides it is discolored and it appears something sat on it and smashed his feathers on one side also putting a bend in the overall appearance, 23" long and rooster is 11" tall looks to be nos plenty of pics to enlarge, email any questions.

For sale is this purple glass lightning rod insulator in good original condition. This was a back yard find by my son& I am selling for him. This is not a perfect one. As you will see in the pictures it has a slant and a chip or rub to glass on top edge. We do have this rusty metal holder that comes with. VINTAGE FOLK ART ROOF MOUNT WEATHERVANE PAINTED TEAL ROOSTER
We are pleased to offer this unique vintage weathervane. This piece is approximately 20 years old. It was roof mounted and used by the previous owners. The weathervane survived an incredibly destructive tornado which devastated the town of Pierce City. Missouri on May 4, 2003. The owners salvaged the weathervane, painted it, and displayed in their new home. They are moving to assisted living and we purchased from their auction. The weathervane features a large metal rooster standing on the arrow. The rooster is a tin type metal with dimension and it is hollow inside. The rooster has a predominant teal color with some white, gold and red accents. It has a finish coat of polyurethane. This is a beautiful"salvaged" piece with great character. It is in very good condition with the exception of the"W" having been broken during ... morethe tornado(see photo 10) The roof mount and pole are made of iron and have a rusted patina. The rooster and the directional mechanism do lift off and can be displayed without the roof mount. Including the mounting and the pole. The unit measures 58" tall. Farmer's Vintage Swirling Cow Weathervane with Directionals Utterly Delightful
I'm selling this Swirling Cow for the elderly Farmer that lives down the road. He had Her on top of the pig shed for the past 30 years. Sold the pigs and the shed and added Pine Tree farming. Less maintenance. This Cow swirls in all Directions along with the Directionals. Extremely well made form cast aluminum with an Oxidized Weather Proof Finish that looks like aged copper. The spacers wore out so he replaced one with a 12 ga brass cap. The 25" high by 11/16" wide, upright steak is solid steel also reinforced with a solid steel rod for extra strength and durability. The bottom on the steak is drilled and tapped for a 5/16" O.D. standard thread. Antique Automobile Weathervane Hollow zinc with cast iron arrow. It has a few small bullet holes. One through rod under center of car. There is little weathering through zinc on bottom of front tire. Original rod and ball, ball has both metal endcaps. No repairs, as found. This was just removed from a local barn. I mounted it on a beautiful old piece of highly figured tiger maple using top part of rod. Bottom of mount is covered in felt. 25" high and arrow is 23" long. Guaranteed as described. Rare Deer Iron Weathervane I don't know the age of this thing. I can say that I bought it about 25 years ago. It has been in my tractor shed all this time. The deer piece is about is 21" across. The directional piece is about 15" across. The front pin on the deer needs to be soldered to the arrow. There is speck of rust here and there and paint may need touching up here and there. But, none of that is significant to me. The two pieces slip over a metal rod. The rod sticks in the ground. I am NOT including the rod. It is a standard 1/4" rod that can be bought at a welding or machine shop. The reason that I am not including the rod is it is so long(66" and I don't have a box to ship it in.
