This is from a local estate and am told is from Italy. Ornate gold gilt and tole roses wall sconce with crystal prisms. There are 13 white roses. 25 crystal prisms. This is huge measuring in at 36" high x 20" wide and approximately 10" deep. It does sit out from the wall and probably can be adjusted. The wiring is in good shape. A cord was attached to show working order. It does show dirt and dust, patina form age. The white roses show wear and could easily be painted over or leave it a nice shabby look. A single porcelain wall sconce with a milk glass shade. The socket was tested and it does work. The light is easy to disassemble for easy wiring. The socket has screw terminals. The part that goes against the wall is apr. 5 3/8 inch in diameter. To the very front edge of the shade the light will extend out from the wall apr. 9 inches. The light accepts shades with a 2/4 inch fitter. There is areas of paint on the edge that was against the wall. The pictures should show the rest. Today we have up for auction an old Brass wall light fixture with a lovely clear and frosted shade. It extends 7in from the wall and is 10in tall from bottom of shade to top of piece that fits flat to the wall. The fitter is 2 1/4in across. The shade is 5in tall and bottom is 4in across. The shade is in good condition no cracks or chips. It does have a little roughness around bottom but it is normal wear. The Brass fixture needs cleaning and polishing. The switch is marked HUBBLE. This auction is for an antique cast iron Victorian Wall- Lamp Bracket. It has a little surface rust and there is a little mint green paint remaining in the pattern- combined it gives it a really cool patina. There is no wall mount plate. See photos for the details! This is a great piece. It measures 15" long. About 8" tall and 5-1/2" diameter. The hanging pins measure 7/16" diameter. PAIR ANTIQUE Gothic Tudor Renaissance Revival WALL SCONCE lamps lights 1920s
I have up for sale a wonderful matching pair of Antique Vintage circa 1920s or there abouts Gothic Tudor Wall Sconces.Complete with original Amber Crackle Glass Chimney Shades. The underlying metal appears to be brass- with factory applied finish. The metal frame measures approx 14-1/2" with the amber chimney- the height is approx 16" The back plate measures approx 4-1/4" wide x 9-3/8" tall. Both sconce frames are in Excellent Original as found Condition! There are no damages and wear is minimal-the finish is excellent. No breaks. No cracks, Etc. The lamps will need new switches- as the old ones are absent. The shades are in very good shape. They have some minor nicking/ nibbles on the top rims but this is fairly trivial and not something at all noticeable. One shade has a small chip. Shown upclose in pic#10. They are ... morea heavy thick glass- and have excellent color and effect when lit. The bulbs that fit the lamp have to be the long slender type. You may have to screw the bulbs in from the top as the inner diameter of the shades are approx the same as the bulb and they will slide through the bottom but the sides touch on the lower section of the bulb. No big deal just do this from the top and no problems.They are old replacement shades-dating to the same era- almost identical to the originals-which are shown in my last pic. I have 3 more identical sconces- the only difference is that the shades on the set that is listed here are a bit darker in color and slightly heavier. From the same era. This offering is for an antique to older vintage 3 light wall sconce lamp. This beautiful fixture. In the Art and Crafts Mission fashion has a very strong Spanish influence. The sconce is a combination of ornate wrought iron and wood. The sconce features a 3 light design with each light having a large, hand blown glass shade. The shades are tall and free form with numerous folds. The glass is crackle with deep and rough texture. The wood is gorgeous with a notched cut pattern. Each light sconce is enhanced with a connecting chain below each sconce. The fixture is old with each light having an individual on/off switch. The wiring is good and the lamp/sconce is working, but the lamp could use a central on/off switch as it is difficult to turn the sconce on when the shades are in place. Featuring a hammered texture this wall sconce fixture set consists of two smaller sconces on either side of a larger sconce. Sconces appear to have been modified with electrical wiring and vintage electric candles. Electric candles have also been decorated with wax to resemble a candle with wax dripping down the side. Bradley& Hubbard ornate beveled candle wall sconce with mirror. I don't know the exact age. But my research indicates that this company was in business from 1875 to about 1940. I is a bronze metal, and stamped the company logo and 1943. The crystals are missing from the candle holders(see photo 3) but can be replaced and it does not detract from the beauty of this piece. A few very tiny paint flecks here and there. Otherwise very nice vintage condition as shown in photos. Includes the clip on fiberglass shade shown which was with the sconce when it was purchase at an estate sale.Shade has one tiny dark spot, no punctures, all edge lace is good, no breaks. Back plate alone is 7” top to bottom; edge of cast iron socket bowl sticks out about 3½” from wall.
