this is a stunning vintage solid brass wall mount electric adjustable sconce lamp. it has beautiful design and detailing and made from very thick heavy brass. it has two arms which each hold flame bulbs. there are two shades that are connected to the shaft in the back. the shades lock into place by the stylized brass nut. And goes up and down the shaft to desired location. it really changes the look and amount of light. the piece has a nice patina. And the arms are very ornate. it is topped with a gorgeous finial and is in great shape. comes with its original hanging bracket hardware. the lamp turns on and off at a switch on the wire. it measures 18 1/4 x 10 3/4 inches. Here is a nice pair of vintage wall lamps. Also included is a spare one for parts. A pair plus a spare. Nice art deco. Made of brass. Dangling bell type design. About 8 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches wide. Will stick out from wall about 6 inches. I do not know exactly how old they are but they are old. They have aging and wear with some stray paint on wall side rims. Still very nice. They are wired and have socket recepticles. Sold as-is. They were not tested for working condition. See photos for condition. I do not see any serious dents. Repairs, nor damage on the pair. The third one is for parts and was rewired, is missing the bracket hanger top cover, and is missing the socket bottom cover. They are vintage and in as found condition and will look even better if cleaned. vintage 1930's Authentic ELECTRIC Wall SCONCE with tiny Unique VICTORIAN Shade. 13" high. Including bulb, 9 1/2" deep, 4 3/4" wide. Marked as shown. An ornate brass arm curls into a crackle glass base, single electric candlelabra. There is a wonderful tiny Victorian shade that clips onto the white metal support. The paper shade is curved around a brass wire, hand painted, decorated with tiny brass flat beads, silk flowers, and edged in Victorian lace. There is a little clip that pinches on to the metal sconce. I bought this while it was still on the wall where it had been for at least 70 or 80 years. It still is fully working, but as is adviseable with all old wiring, probably should be rewired for safety. There is a tiny hole in the brass in the curve of the arm(pic 9) looks original to the making, as it is not in a place ... morewhere damage could occur. They use an x-ray style Flint shade insert. Popular these days with the Industrial crowd. I have another pair but am missing one of these shades so can't offer up another pair till I find one. These were painted when I got them so I stripped off the paint and polished the highlights. There are some paint flecks on the inside of the glass shade inserts that easily scrape off with a fingernail, I just didn't see the point. These were cast aluminum and are not homogenous on the matte finish but have character and were exceedingly well done-view ... morethe pictures. They have been waxed so that can be removed with alcohol and they can be painted again if you prefer that to my perfect finish. These came with Mogul sockets for high wattage bulbs like those used for floor torchier lamps. They also had bakelight adaptors to use medium base. I will include porcelain and brass insert mogul-medium base adaptors to allow your choice of bulbs. These would work great with a dimmer switch, they never had a switch on the sconces. In the correct location these will be an outstanding addition. They measure: 11 inches out from the wall, 11 1/2" top to bottom, the back plate that fits against the wall is 8 1/2" wide and 4 3/4" tall. The pull chain has been replaced. The original wiring is in fair condition with one area that is frayed as can be seen in the last photo. Antique French solid brass bed side lamp with lamp shade and matching solid brass wall sconce. Lamp measures 8.2" and the base 3.1" Lampshade is 6½" high. 4.6" diameter at top and about 7½" at base. It is creamy white and a little dusty. Beige and gold braid with 1" deep tassels. The wall sconce is 4.6" diameter. The candle holder just over 3½" high and the"candle" 2½" high. Antique Gothic Tudor Style Bradley Hubbard Cast Iron Wall Sconce for Oil Lamp
This is an old Bradley and Hubbard cast iron wall sconce for an oil lamp. Rusty and ready for restoration. It dates to the late 1800's. There is a slight bend at the top section. Vintage Adirondack Lodge style Wall Sconce Lamp w Oak Leaves & Acorn Wreath
This is a unique Adirondack Lodge style wall lamp. That I purchased a few years ago at an antique show, and have used it ever since. It's about 14" tall and 10" wide, and the arms project about 9" from the wall. It's a yellowy beige color with burnished gold highlights on the leaves and acorns. The arms are metal, and have a crackled finish, there are some chips in the paint. The wreath is a VERY heavy composition plaster-like material. Each arm takes a small base bulb. The wiring is connected in a box that projects about 1/2" on the back of the lamp, please see picture 4. I don't know if this has been rewired, but the cord has an inline on-off switch, so no hard wiring is needed, just hang it up anywhere and enjoy. Vintage Porcelier wall sconce. it has been rewired with a new socket. It can be wired to switch on a wall or on the fixture itself. It works we used to have it up now the plug part is not wired. Here is a vintage boat cabin light made by Harmony house. The wall sconce mount is metal and in the shape of a ship wheel. The glass globe is in great shape. No chips no cracks and is embossed all around with roping. The glass is 3 1/4" diameter and the glass is 4" tall. The ship wheel is 7" diameter to the handles.
