Vintage Antique large classic Beveled windows 1916 excellent condition (2) each
These(2) beveled pane glass windows were once installed in a 16.000 square foot mansion built in Pasadena, 1916. The windows were part of the original construction. And are therefore nearly 97 years old. The glass is ultra thick and strong. Beveled glass is described by the following: is clear plate glass which has had all its edges ground and polished at a specific angle. A Beveled Glass window is a mosaic of many individual beveled glass pieces. The angled edges or bevels. Cause transmitted light to be prismatically refracted, often creating rainbow-like color effects. Measurements for each window are: 83" by 88" with 88 beveled panes of 8 x 10.5" sized panes surrounded tightly by zinc edging. Each pane of glass is in Perfect. Clear and uncompromised condition. The entire window is surrounded has same edging and is slightly ... moredamaged on that very edge(and nowhere else) as it was being extricated from the wooden sill. It is soft and repairable. In fact. The zinc edging is available online. This glass does NOT contain lead as decorative crystal can. Though it has similar clarity and hardness. The history is on these is that they were most likely manufactured in the United States earlier than their installation date of 1916. Information of the owner at that time is available when buyer demonstrates interest as the current ownership is private and that privacy is being protected for this particular mansion. It is approximately 20 5/8" tall by 16 1/4" wide by 1 1/2" thick. And has imperfections and wear to the paint including some marks, crackle and brushmarks. There are 2 holes drilled in the wood side panel to the right. The mirror inside is charmingly home crafted, glued on in 2 sections, with portions of wood and dried glue showing at edges and bit. Construction is imperfect, with the left door slightly crookedly placed. Screws on hinges could be tightened or left as is(hinges are stable and not loose. Glass on doors is of substantial quality. One is currently occupied by a modem, another by a SoundBlaster AWE32. This system is running a clean install of Windows 98SE. Set to boot into DOS mode, with or without EMS. As well as Windows, via Boot Menu. The PC has 32MB of RAM, 621K of conventional memory free without EMS. 608K with EMS. I have used a couple of FreeDos files in EMS mode to provide as much conventional memory as possible. It comes with SoundBlaster AWE32 audio. The high-end ISA soundcard Vintage Games crave, and S3 Virge/DX PCI SVGA Graphics, perfect for your Vintage games. Fully configured and tested in DOS mode using the Classic Shareware games BLOOD, Commander Keen 4, DOOM, Duke Nukem 3D, Rise of the Triad and Wolfenstein ... more3D. Windows gaming tested using the Freeware release of Grand Theft Auto. I have also tested in DOS with EMS the abandonware game Black Thorne, which is a notoriously picky game which requires EMS, it won’t even run under DOSBox, but runs flawlessly on this system. Windows 98 has been updated with Windows Media Player 9, Internet Explorer 6, and Direct X 9c. The harddrive and AWE32 are original equipment that came with the tower when it was sold back in 1995, but I have upgraded the RAM from 8MB to 32MB, replaced the CDROM because the drawer was busted, replaced the 2MB Matrox video card with a 4MB S3 Virge/DX far better suited for gaming, and installed a brand new CMOS battery. Vintage 1992 Lincoln Log Set Lot 149 pc. + instructions door windows roof slide
This is the 1992 version of Lincoln logs. It is actually two sets bought around the same time. They were bought new for my oldest son who is now 23 and have been used occasionally since then. The lot includes everything seen in the pictures. There are 89 small logs. 31 medium logs, 2 medium to long logs, 5 extra long logs, 3 extra long half logs, 5 medium half logs, and two wood roof parts( one has an end broken off, can be seen in the picture) The plastic parts are 1 blue door, 4 windows, 3 roofs, 2 chimneys, and 2 slides. There are also 2 yellow and 3 green wood roof parts. The set also includes 4 pages of instructions which we laminated. I also found a green roof and orange slide that are not pictured. Those will be included as well. No one plays with them anymore. So it's time to pass them on to someone else who will appreciate them ... moremore. These have been stored in a smoke free home. Vintage Buddy L. Vacation Van with Bubble Windows (1977-?)
This item is a Vintage Vacation Van by the Buddy L. Corp. We believe the van may have been made in 1977. But are not 100% sure as there was no date on the van itself. The van is golden orange in color, has bubble windows, and measures approximately 7.5" by 3.5" by 4" tall. The Vacation Van has a rooftop hatch and trunk door which open as can be seen in Picture#2. The trunk door is a little tight, but is still in good working condition. The wheels are also in good working order. This item has been used previously, but is in overall good condition with very few marks. The stickers are all intact with little to no peeling. This item could use a little cleaning, but we thought we would leave that up to the buyer, who would know best what to use in order to clean the item properly. Vintage green Tonka camper motorhome Has many places where paint has been worn off. And small areas of rust. Some rust inside, and underneath There are 3 little sliding plastic windows. One in the rear, and one on each side. Smaller windows above the cab are open, no plastic in them. I don't know if there ever was. The door is a little tough to open. But it does open It looks like there used to be some decal stickers on the roof. Only the remnants of one remains.
