Vintage Bamboo Fly Rod - Nickle Silver Hardware, Agate tip tops
Decided to let go of another rod. It is a vintage rod with no makers marking other than the signature wrap. Have been told that it could be an early high end Montague from the 1920s. But that's just an opinion. I haven't fished this rod or cast it so don't know the line weight, but would guess it to be a 4 or 5wt. I have the original bag and tube, but the tube is missing the cap. I'm pretty sure the finish has been redone by a previous owner. It's a three piece 9 1/2' all the sections are full length. Bamboo has the mottled flamed appearance. The two tips are wrapped differently photo 11 shows it best. one tip has a wider wrap of green& red which I assume one is for wet fly and the other is for dry fly. The different wrapping lets you know which tip your using. The tube has Edwards written on it maybe a previous ... moreowner. Paw Paw Watta Frog Very Early Through Body Hardware VG Vintage Fishing Lure I think this is the first leg attachment that Paw Paw used on the Watta Frog. It is a metal plate through the body. With holes that the legs attach to, which is held in place with a small wood screw in the butt end. This left very little wood to support the plate and it was prone to failure when hit by a big fish. I think they tried surface hardware after this, then the plates came along. Even the surface hook hanger is an old style. This Old Frog is in Very Nice Shape with little signs of use. Even the eyes are not chipped and the leg hooks still have hair. The hooks have some rust and the hardware is tarnished. This frog is is about 2-1/2 inches long without the hooks. Thanks for Looking. After I purchased this reel from a collector in 2009 I had it serviced by the pros at Penn's Factory Service Dept. in Philadelphia and reel has been sitting in my closet ever since. I will supply winning bidder with copy of the Penn invoice/receipt for this service work. Reel was internally cleaned and properly lubricated by Penn. Has new drag washers, and is set to fish or become part of a collection. Reel features bright red side plates. Red plastic spool, and matching red colored torpedo knob on handle. I believe I caught more bass from a black jitterbug than any other lure I used when I was a youngster This one is one of the WW-II era jitterbugs. Coming in the red/white design These lures were made with the plastic lips as part of the war effort due to the shortage of metal materials normally used for the lip-these quickly became a sought after collectible as Arbogast went back to their normal metal lips shortly after the war ended Measures just about 2 3/4 inches. RARE Tama Superstar White 6 piece Vintage Rock Drum kit with Tama hardware Set
Here is a really rare 1980's vintage Tama Superstar Rock drum kit. These were the staple of 80's rock bands. The white kit is hard to find. The Shells are 6 ply Birch as far as I can tell from research on the Tama site. The drum sizes are 24" kick. 14x7 snare, toms are 12x10,13x11, floor 14x12, floor18x15. The hardware is all original super heavy duty Tama. It has the Tama"King Beat" lifetime pedal. It also has the original Tama HiHat stand, and Tama throne. It does not have the snare stand. Thought we had it but it seems to be nowhere to be found. We have used this kit on many of our touring artist shows. the white shels are super for lighting the kit with LED or other color fixtures. The cymbal stands are double legs with good counter balances. The heads are only about 4 gigs old. Rhe front bass head is an Aquarian ... moreand the beater head is a Remo Powerstroker. The tom& snare heads are Remo ambassador& emperor. This kit has been used but not abused. It is in really nice condition compared to other kits 1/4 of the age. I have not noticed any stripped out fasteners and all the Omnimounts work just like new. In other auctions on eBay just the snare is selling for $275 and the floor tom is at $350. Shipping will vary. The best way to ship these is to put some of them inside one another with foam protection. So when you buy these I will need a couple of days to get it packed PROTECTED for shipping. Beautiful"Case Queen" Gibson ES-350TD from circa 1962. Even Ted Nugent wouldn't be able to resist this wonderful instrument! Gorgeous figured curly maple top! Two Patent Sticker pickups that just sound wonderful- the neck pickup has never been opened. A few changes: tuner holes were widened and there are faint rings from Grovers on the headstock veneer. Tuners may be replacements. The guitar was re-fretted with 6105 stainless frets and it plays like butta! The neck was reset by my luthier and the job is perfect and barely visible. The original bridge is in the case and I installed a Tonepros aged gold bridge. The base for the bridge is not original. There are a lot of Brand New parts on these drums like the floor tom legs. The floor tom chrome hoop, the bass drum hoop, and the bass drum claws& tension rods. VINTAGE MARINE LAMP BY PERKINS MARINE HARDWARE (PERKO)
Wonderful old marine lantern from an estate along the Ohio River. No dents or scratches and an excellent fresnel lens. The lamp seems to be original. It stands 9" tall and 7" in diameter. The body is copper and has a small brass makers tag on the bottom edge. Lamp weighs about 5# This is called a dock light and is missing a battery box which attaches to the bottom. I have lowered my asking price to reflect this. Would still make a great light or display piece.
