This is a vintage antiques Mahogany china hutch or cabinet. It's a beast. Too! The dimensions are 8ft tall by 55 inches wide, and 22 inches deep. First. The flaws. On the last two pictures, you will see the cracks in the top(last picture) and the counter top(second to last pic) the crack on the counter runs down the length and is wavy. Could be fixed, but I'm not the guy to attempt. The left drawer is missing a chunk on the top rail, but it may have been the wood piece used, It's against the dove tail in the back and doesn't affect the use of the drawer. I do not have the keys. But it's a regular skeleton key and EVERYTHING locks on this cabinet. The top glassed doors, the bottom doors and the drawers. I do not have any shelves for this hutch. But the adjustable wedges for the shelf are original and intact. 2 of them. ... moreHow do you lose a shelf and not the wedges? This china cabinet comes apart in four pieces. The very top trim. Here is a wood Jewelry Armoire/ Chest. Stands 11" high. Length is 8 3/4" and width is 5" Two etched glass doors with a floral design. Inside the one there is a rotating necklace hanger, 2 compartments and mirrored back. The other one has 9 long ring slots. One pull out drawer for storage. Pink velvet lining. Very nice vintage wood jewelry box in very good condition. It is apx 9 3/4" tall. 8" wide and almost 5 1/2" deep. It has 3 doors on the top behind the mesh doors and 1 larger drawer on the bottom. It is musical and plays when the bottom drawer is opened. It has no cracks or scratches and the drawers are lined with a gold color velveteen. They velveteen has a few minor spots, which I have highlighted with a flash photo, but they are not nearly as noticable without the flash photo. It has 3 regular drawers, 1 drawer that folds out with slots for rings, 1 long drawer, and the mirror. It is supposed to have a spinning necklace hook, but the hook has been removed so the mirror could be used better. It looks like it has two tight splits in the wood. One leaf at the bottom appears to have a line with some glue-see photo. There is a bird behind one door and a man behind the door marked Tezuka. Vintage Wood Jewelry Box Lrg w/ 3 Glass Doors & Lrg Drawer - Fold Out Portions
This jewelry box is around 30 years old; I bought this for my Mom many years ago! The only thing I really see to report about this so far as anomolies is the padded area for rings has spots on the liner. And I have no idea why; but I wonder if it has to do with the foam underneath because the liner fabric throughout the rest of the box has not done this. Perhaps the foam is constructed with oils that have come up and caused it with age? I don't know what kind of wood this is. But I've always found it unique. it is lighter color tannish and has a very pronounced wood grain that almost gives a spotted appearance. The two windows on the sides have flowers etched into them; the center one is plain. The liner color is a neutral beige and pretty well depicted in the photos. I love the way this one is made because the two areas of use behind ... morethe glass doors are very functional! They both pivot around to the front so that you can easily reach what you want without digging back into the box- it rotates them totally to the front. And that includes the ring area and necklace spinners. Each spinner has 8 different hooks, so even if you only hung 1 necklace per hook, that is 16 you can have suspended all of the time. There is a little wood tub/hollow tray area at the bottom of the two swing-out portions. There are mirrors 1/2 way down the back of both of those portions. I mentioned the ring area on one of the swing-outs; the other side has the grooves for earrings(see photos) Stands 15" tall. 12.75" long, and 6" wide. Shipping will be via Fed Ex Home. As that turns out to be the least expensive of the trackable/ reliable methods. I'm going to list this as"free shipping" and include it in the price of the opening bid. Vintage Enameled Tin Mirror with Double Doors 1970's This is a beautiful vintage mirror wit double doors. This is an older piece of enameled tin that was probably kept unused for many years. It can stand alone on a surface or hang from the wall. Delicate and beautiful. There is tape on the back that was probably placed there to protect it. This is how we found it. This piece has older but in great condition. Has some minor scratches on the surface due to age but they can hardly be noticed. A rare find.
