2 VINTAGE LEADED GLASS CABINET DOOR DOORS C-1930-40s 19 1/2 X 26 1/8"
TWO CABINET DOORS WITH HEAVY LEADED GLASS INSERTS IN A DIAMOND PATTERN. THE DOORS AND THEIR DIMENSIONS ARE QUITE PRECISE TO EACH OTHER. The outside measurements are 19 1/2 inches wide by 26 1/8 inches long. The inside edge where the door fits into the cabinet is approx. 18 5/8 by 25 3/8 inches. The leaded glass panel itself is 15 x 21 5/8 inches should you wish to utilize the glass in a different frame. The condition is very good with a small crack in the lower right corner of the lowest right half diamond. Its pictured in the last photo. It is present but flush and stable. This jewelry box was bought in 1950's and never used for jewelry. It was placed on display from time to time and so you see the small furniture protectors of the bottom of the feet. The box has brass fittings on all corners. Drawers and inlays on the sides and bottom drawer. Everything works. The jewelry box has two front doors that cover three drawers. There is one larger drawer at the bottom of the box that has an extra tray. All are covered in aqua colored brocade. Fittings are there for Asian-style lock. But lock is not there. On the top there is a brass carrying handle. It is clean and in very good condition and would make a stunning statement for whatever its role might be. Vintage Lacquered Asian Jewelry Box with Mother of Pearl Deer Design Doors Box measures 11 11/16 inches high. 8 1/2 inches across the front and 4 13/16 inches across the side. It is a brown lacquer with an Opalescent Mother of Pearl design on the front. It has 1 drawer at the bottom and 3 drawers behind the 2 door front. Each drawer has a red velveteen type liner. However, the liners are quite dirty- so may need replaced. The Mother of Pearl design is very nice. Each door has 2 deer- one looks like it is drinking water with a couple of fish below it. The drawer underneath has ducks in a pond with flowers around them. There are several different border designs around the edges. The inside drawers also have some type of design on each side of the center metal pull tab handle. This is vintage used with signs of wear and tear. There are some ... morechips to the lacquer on the outside edges(mostly around the top edges) and a few bigger chips on the inside to the ledge and one of the drawers top edge. One side has some wax that has dripped down it- but should clean off. The red liners are dirty so may need replaced. The front Door Handle/s is missing. Coleman Oasis 13 X 10 Vintage Canvas Cabin Family Tent 2 Doors - NEVER CAMPED IN
Item: COLEMAN Oasis Vintage Canvas Cabin Family Tent- with a front door AND a back door. Material: Cotton Canvas Size: 13' x 10' Actual weight: 45.5 pounds(tent. Poles, stakes and storage bags) I purchased this tent from its elderly original owner. He told me that he had never taken it camping. And that he had only set it up once in his back yard to see what the set up process entailed. From the tents incredibly clean condition, I find his recollection of its history to be totally believable. As I could see subtle evidence that it had been set up before. I felt it reasonable to carefully set it up again to take pictures of it for this listing. In doing so, I staked only the corners of the tent(using some stakes I had around instead of using the originals) and did not stretch it tight. Had I fully staked it down, stretched it tight, ... moreand lightly misted it with water, the pictures would have looked like something from an advertising brochure. The surface of the canvas is crisp. Smooth, and clean like new fabric. There are still some layout numbers in Tailors Chalk on some of the canvas panels from when it was manufactured. I did not brush these off. It has that"new material smell" and I could not detect any trace of typical old tent mustiness. There are a very few. Very minor condition issues. There is some dust on the storage bags, which I did not attempt to clean in any way. A rubber band that was holding the poles together deteriorated, but this residue cleaned off of the poles nicely with lacquer thinner. There are some scratches on the poles from being moved around in storage. There is also a little marring to some of the plastic end fittings. The bare iron stakes were rubber banded and wrapped in a small square of canvas tent material. This left some deteriorated rubber band residue and rust spots on this fabric square(which I think was probably included with the tent for later use as patch material) The stakes(all 14 required are present) are made of bare hot rolled square iron stock. Vintage wood and hand blown glass panel doors
I have a set of vintage. Real wood doors with hand blown glass panels. They are from the early 1900's and originally came from a house in the Tacoma area. While the wood has normal wear on them, they remain in good condition and were recently used as office doors. There is one small crack in one panel of the glass. All the hardware is original. Doors are approximately 29 3/4' x 79 1/2' These doors are much to pretty to sit in my garage! They deserve to be the centerpiece of their new home. Local pick up only. Vintage Japanese Mizuya Kitchen Tansu Sliding Doors # 1 of 2 sets
This is one of two sets of sliding doors originally made for a Japanese kitchen tansu(mizuya) from the early 1900's. They are made of cypress and are jointed together at the corners. With a soft tap of a hammer they can be separated. Then a thin board or glasss could be inserted into the groove around the inside edges. We tried to show these edges in the photos# 6- 9. One of the inside edges is broken but it could be fixed with glue before or after the insert is installed.This broken section can be seen in photo# 5. Left side door look at the upright on the right side and the crack is visible. The bottom of the runner has an ebony inlay. This is for its beauty and the utilitarian purpose of making the wood stronger so the bottom runner doesn't wear down through sliding back and forth. Vintage Japanese Kiri Tansu Doors & Hardware
These are a pair of doors made for an early 1900's Japanese tansu. They are all kiri wood with copper latches/ handles that cover a key hole. We don't have the key. The right side door has the key hole the left side has a fake key hole. These don't need to be locked to stay closed. There is a spring latch on the left side door that fits into a hole on the right side door. This can be seen in photos 7. 8 11& 12. Also the left side door has a bottom and top lock that locks it into the tansu. This can be seen in photos 9, 10& 12 in the upper corners. This latch slides up and down into a hole in the tansu itself. The left door is closed first then the upper and lower latches are locked into place, locking that door in place.Then the right side door would be closed and the center spring latch would keep it shut until it is ... morepulled open. The kiri wood is in pretty good shape. Considering it's about 90 years old. There are some spaces in the center panels from when the wood shrank over the years. There is also some expected wear on the edges and on the wood itself. Look closely at the photos please. The corners latches move up and down and the center spring latch still has spring in its spring. 2 original, vintage 1940s kitchen door handles and hardware, with doors attached
A pair of vintage 1940s kitchen cupboard door handles. With hinges and spring action latch mechanism, including the latch mounts for the cupboard frame. Handles and hinges are still attached to the original kitchen cupboard doors from a house constructed in 1946. The doors are 3/4 inches thick, in excellent condition, no warping or dents, a tribute to the quality of the wood. heavy, dense plywood with a curving edge, each door weighs 6 pounds) Painted with an off-white enamel, the paint has a few blemishes but is remarkably intact. The doors are designed to fit cabinet openings of 12" wide by 26" high, with a half-inch overlap, making each door a total of 13 x 27 inches. The door handles have that nice 1940s curve with a single crease down the center. They have a slight patina of wear but not dings, dents or scratches, with plenty ... moreof shine remaining(I did not clean or polish these) The photos taken with flash give a truer picture of the metallic shine. The non-flash pictures make them look yellowish. The hardware can be removed if that's all you want, although I think the doors are worth having as well.
