Lot of 6 Vintage& Antique Cabinet Door Knobs Drawer Pulls Iron Brass Steel Who-hoo- went to my first auction of the summer- it was a farm estate auction literally right down the street from me. The former owners had lived there since he had gotten out of the military after enlisting during WWII. And her family had been on the property for generations before that. It’s all farm stuff- household, barn, outbuildings, property- many items from the 1800s and up. Lot of old iron, barn digs, primitives and pretties- I’m so excited to show them to you! Enjoy! Here's another great lot of old hardware for you! Some antique. Some vintage. I have others this week, so be sure to check them out too. First, there's one small brass pull- it measures 3 1/2" tall by 7/8" wide at the center and has an age darkened patina. The mounting ... moreholes are 2 1/2" apart center of hole to center of hole. Next, I have 3 iron handles- I do believe a set, although two are the same size and one is smaller. The small one measures 4 1/16" by 1 1/8" and it has two screw mount holes on either end. The holes measure 3 1/2" apart center of hole to center of hole on other side of handle. The two larger ones measure 4 7/8" long by 1 3/8" wide. They also have two screw mount holes on each end, and measure 4 1/8" center of one hole to the center of the next. All three of the iron handles have remnants of old copper colored finish that is seen only in peeks- most of it is gone. Finally, I have two matching hammered steel handles that are marked Japan on the backside. I think they had a black finish at one point in time, but most of it is gone now and you see the silver of the steel. They measure 5 1/4" long by 1" wide and the mounting holes are 3 3/16" apart- center of hole to center of hole. All of the harware is in excellent solid and sturdy condition, with the finish wear noted above, lots of barn dirt(they all need a bath- I have not cleaned them in any way) and small spots of surface

Offering a mid 1900s mortise lock set. Two backplates. Mortise lock and handles. Made of pressed steel with brass plating. The mortise lock box is aluminum. The catch and lock mechanism are cast iron with brass plating. The handle catch can be reversed, for use on right or left hand opening doors. This has a great return spring on the handle, working skelton key deadbolt(no key) MEASUREMENTS: The backplates are 2 1/4" x 7" The locks face plate is 5 1/4" long x 7/8" wide. The lock is 3 1/4" deep from face. 3 1/2" tall, 1/2" thick. The handle opening sets back 2 3/8" from face plate to handle center. The top of key hole is 2" below the center of the handle opening. This is a vintage double door wooden wall hung cabinet/chest. It measures aprox. 26"x16 3/8" With a depth of 4 1/2" when the doors are closed. It has 2 small porcelain knobs; all hinges are present, but some are in need of new hinge rods, so you may want to replace, or just get new rods(see photos) There are no mirrors(they were broken when I got it) so the front is open. Vintage Knob Set. I only show one of each style in the pictures. But all are similar. I have no idea as to the years, they are coming out of a house built in the 1940's. The entry sets use a skeleton key(not included) They do work and have all the parts(knobs, faceplates, mechanism, and there are 2 of them exactly the same. The interior sets(6) are vintage Kwikset, look to be polished brass at one point, but have alot of patina on them.
