My need for these tools will never be activated even though I love them. They have such class and will glamour up any useable fireplace. Downsizing as you get older can be painful when you give up many of the beautiful things you once lived with. BUT it is great that many of you are still shopping for(and have a use for) the nicer things in life for a good Price. The deer heads and base are solid brass and were"antique" finished when I bought them. They can be polished of course but patina gives metal a heritage appearance so I never did. The weight with a sturdy cardboard box for shipping will be around 33 pounds. I cannot list a correct shipping price until I know where they would go and freight is the only sensible way to ship with this weight to consider. If you are seriously interested in buying them- please give me a day or two before bidding ends to check out the price.
