Vintage large 15.25x16.75 gray steel folding shelf brackets
This is a large pair of folding shelf brackets. They are 16 1/4" by 15 3/4" by 1- 1/8" wide. When folded. They are 2" from front to back. Each has 6 holes for mounting. They are made of stamped steel with a gray paint finish. In a few spots the finish has worn away and there is some surface rust. These are sound and functional. Stanley made folding shelf brackets like these in the 1930s but I was not able to find their sweetheart mark on this pair. A folding shelf might be nice above a work table for temporary storage of tools or materials. These could also be used for a temporary laptop desk. If you have any questions. Please ask.

I was planning on using these on my front porch but went with a totally different design scheme. Here you have six corbels that were handmade and found at an estate sale. They are made of wood. A soft wood, not sure what kind. They would need a good coating of stain/primer and painted. or leave unfinished. I really love the design on these, a really nice pattern. It would look great for shelving but would need some material to fatten them up a little. Size are all the same and pattern is the same. long 16 inches and 3/8th tall 10 inches depth 1/2 inch thick shipping is going to be 20$ flat fee shipping US only. Vintage cast iron shelf brackets. 8 pieces. These mount to a pipe or wooden pole(vertical element) You then could use wooden shelves with some pieces of half round glued to the bottom to keep them in place. You could run a piece of pipe or round wood in the two depressions and use glass on top of that for the shelves. Or these could be used in a green house to hold water pipes with spray heads to water the beds of plants under them. They stick out 11 1/2 inches from the pipe. The two half moon cut outs are 7 inches center to center. they are 4 1/2 inches tall. Or use them to hang plants. Glad to answer any questions about this item.

Antique Rustic Cast Iron Shelf Brackets H8 White Paint (some flaking off)
You have the opportunity to own a pair of old cast iron shel f brack ets. The only cleaning that I have done is try to brush off the loose dirt and cobwebs. As I was doing that some of the old wh ite paint fell off and while I handled them to take pictures more of the paint flaked off. So be assure d that if you purch ase them there will be some paint chips in the shipping bo x. There are no repai rs or cracks. Just a lot of character. They are both marked H8. There is still plenty of rust on them. The part that would fit up against a wall is 18-1/2" and the part that would support a shelf board is about 10-1/2" I left some of the hardware on each and did not try to remove the bolts. This is a very nice pair of 1890's Victorian oak brackets or corbels with columns. They measure 21 1/2" high x 7 1/2" deep at the top and are 1 1/4" wide. Vintage Antique Folk Art Wood Wall Shelf Brackets, Artisan, RARE UNIQUE!!!
A pair of hand-made wooden brackets designed to support a wall shelf. RARE. ONE-OF-A-KIND, and UNIQUE! Artist: unknown. Wood: pine or similar soft wood. Size: 21 1/8 inches high. 13 ½ inches deep, and 1 7/8 inches wide. Age: unknown; however. I speculate the origin before the 1950s. Design: crouching male human body with a pair of holes used to fasten each bracket to a wall. Condition: very good for its age; however. Various indentations, scratches, scuffs, etc. exist(see images) Also. You will note several deficiencies: missing toes for 1 bracket. A crack located underneath a secondary horizontal part and below the main horizontal part, and a mended crack between the upper and lower portions of a body. Note: these various imperfections provide superb“character” and patina for this vintage item. Note: my parents. Antique dealers, offered ... morethese unique items at least 20 years ago when we lived in a 1924“arts and crafts” bungalow. Now. We reside in a contemporary house. We used these wall brackets to support a 22-inch-long glass shelf(not included) for a telephone and small sculpture in which we received many accolades.
