You are bidding on a beautiful vintage. Antique hanging porch light or lantern. The electrical workings inside are intact but I do not have a way to test it. I'm told it was working when taken down. Wiring is in place. This has a great patina. It is blackened copper with lots of filagree and scrollwork. Probably hand made. No trade name on it anywhere. There are 3 amber/gold colored glass panels and 3 blue. Roughly 18" high and 8 1/2" in diameter. The glass panels are 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide. This came from an estate and it has not been taken apart to be cleaned and is in as found condition. There are no breaks or cracks in the glass panels. The original wall hanger is included. Here are 2 beautiful vintage lights for one price-a matching pair. The porch light wall sconces are black metal with amber colored textured glass. There are 5 glass panels on the light with scrolled pieces at the top with a fancy flame shaped finial in the center. There is a back solid plate that allows you to mount it to wall. The ceiling rose is made up of swirling sheaves of feathers giving a delightfully scalloped edge. A large opaque glass globe is attached to an intricate bronze plate. Antique Art Deco Hanging Brass & Copper Ribbed Glass Hallway Porch Ceiling Light
Thia is a well made and ornate Antique Art Deco hanging ceiling fixture that would look beautiful either in a hall. Foyer or porch. From the late 1930's or 1940s it is crafted I think, of brass, copper and bronze. I'm not up on my metallurgy but none of it is magnetic. There are no cracks in the beautiful thick curved ribbed glass panels and they are held in by clips behind the stylized floral and ribbed cast frame. The top is hinged to allow access to the bulb and held in place by a dainty clasp.The body of the light is 12" in length, top cover is 6 1/2" in diameter and the cast body is about 5 1/4" in diameter at the to tapering to 3 1/2 at the bottom. It will drop about 19" rom the ceiling surface. I cannot find much wrong with this other than there is some age tarnish and some paint loss on the bottom cap. ... moreWiring looks good but it should be checked out by a competent electrician before use. VTG 20S ART DECO COPPER IRON MISSION PORCH LIGHT SCONCE FIXTURE & CYLINDAR SHADE
Very beautiful antique light fixture. This is an outdoor wall sconce that would work great on a cottage or by a porch door. Originally from a lake home built at the turn of the century. The light is of cast metal, bronze and copper(the top is copper, other parts seem to be covered is some brass or a mix of brass, bronze and cast metal) The best part of this light is the cylinder shaped amber crackle glass shade, you don't often see these with an undamaged shade. It looks beautiful when turned on. It has been rewired(outdoor wiring and socket) and can take a 100 watt bulb it desired. Will have the mounting hardware included with a new brass finial holding the threaded rod in back. This light has been repaired to be usable again, the socket has been epoxied to the base(pictured) there are a few places where the metal has been lightly sanded ... moreto see what color it was underneath(pictured) this would weather in time and turn dark again. The finial on the bottom has a small hole drilled into it and a tiny wire holds it to the base of the lamp. pictured) You have to look for this to see it. A few screws have been replaced to hold the base to the top, they are brass but will darken in time(pictured) There is a screw head that is broken off that holds the copper top to the cast metal middle, there are other screws holding it down so this is not an issue(pictured) There are some very small paint dots on the copper top(pictured) In the last photo you can see the part that holds the base to the back tends to wiggle back and forth- it won't come loose and almost needs to be this way to fit the top onto the base(it needs a bit of wiggle room) but once it's all put together it doesn't move at all because of the way the top and bottom attach to each other. It needs to be assembled carefully since the metal top has to be screwed to the base over the cylinder shade- takes a bit of time and patience but well worth the effort. Up for auction is an antique light fixture. Probable for a porch. Looks like an outdoor fixture. The fixture is metal. Painted white. The globe is white glass. The acorn at the end of the glass is cast aluminum. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. One very tiny chip on the globe edge that goes into the fixture, hardly noticeable. Some surface rust on the metal, paint worn/faded. Globe has scuffs and marks. Looks like a new socket has been put into it. Has the original screws that hold the globe on. It measures 12" long. Fixture is 5 1/4" diameter, globe is about 6" diameter, opening that goes into the fixture is 3 1/8" diameter. International bidders MUST contact me prior to bidding for a shipping estimate! Up for sale is a Vintage Cast Iron Slag Glass Gothic Arts& Crafts Mission Porch Light Fixture. This fixture has a great revival look. features removable slag glass panels. They were originally installed via 2 L-brackets. So that they could slide in. Now, the bottom brackets are still there, but the top brackets have eroded away, or they were possibly cut out so that the glass could be removed. This is all the original glass that came with the fixture. The only way I could figure out how to properly hold the glass in, was to use velcro on the top side. Believe it or not, it works pretty well! I took a photo showing the little velcro tabs. Obviously you could remove those tabs if you wanted to use a different method. The glass panels will be removing during ... moreshipping. Otherwise. The glass is free of any chips or cracks. The fixture is very old and vintage, and has a few areas that are weathered& have small splits(near the bottom finial part) The paint isn't in the best condition but has the weathered appeal. The base is cast iron; the other part of the fixture(the fram part where the glass goes) is not cast iron, it's some sort of painted metal. The entire fixture is heavy and solid, weighing in at about 5 ounds. The fixture has a new porcelain socket& brand new wiring. It's in excellent workding condition! The entire fixture measures 12" long by approximately 6" wide. The glass has a green swirl design but when lit. It almost looks yellow. You could keep this beautiful glass or replace it with clear panels. There is no mounting hardware or bulb included in the auction. This would look great on the porch of an arts& crafts bungalow. used condition. this gorgeous glass wall light was taken down from the wall of your art gallery that at one time was the first jail house in chaffee county. the building is on the national historic site and was built in 1878. it comes apart to put new bulbs in and shows plenty of wear on the metal. ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1950s PETER MARSH ROCK GLASS WROUGHT IRON TABLE HALL PORCH LAMP LIGHT. WELCOME TO MY AUCTION- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND STUDY PICTURES I have for auction a vintage original rock glass and wrought iron table lamp. Due to the style of the base could also be installed the other way up so would also make a nice hall or porch light, this dates from the 1950s and made by Peter Marsh, Birmingham although unsigned, not all were stamped. The light is made of wrought iron with coloured rocks of glass mounted in with thick lead. The lamp stands on a square base with 4 circular rubber feet, the light has an additional four holes to the base so could be hung the other way up. The light has a short wire which I have put a plug on to show it working, this will be removed. Vintage 50's Outside Porch Light Fixture
This is truly a treasure! My building is being rennovated and this 1950's porch light fixture came off the front of the building. And. It still works! The building was built in the late 50's and the light is original from then. I left the petina and condition as is because it gives character to the piece.The gold nuts are to keep the top on since they were missing. The glass is beveled and slides up and down for removal. The top is a bit crooked but this too adds to the beauty of it. Each one of these unique.arts and crafts( notice the distinct style of arts& crafts on the close up of the top of the light) styled porch light sconces measures about 16 1/2" high, 6" across, and extends out from the wall about 7 1/2" There is a clear glass panel on three sides and what APPEARS(not sure if it is) to be a copper? backplate. They need cleaning, but will leave that to new owners, as oftentimes they preferred method of cleaning their treasures. Don't miss out on these UNIQUE items. Mickey Mouse/Disney Porch Light
This Mickey Mouse/Disney porch light came with the house I bought and needs a new home. The light fixture measures 11 1/2" high by 7" wide and extends 7" from the wall. The fixture is black and has minor surface rust covering about 10% of the fixture. A quick shot of black spray paint would restore it. The glass shade is frosted and white. Vintage copper art nouveau craftsman style porch light
For sale is a vintage copper craftsman style exterior porch light. It measures about 16 inches tall and about 6 inches wide at the widest part and has a great antique patina. It has four panels of a heavy textured glass that is in excellent condition without any chips or cracks. This item needs to be refurbished since I did not check the wiring and it does not have a canopy to attach it to ceiling. What you see in the pictures is what you are getting. This unique Copper& Glass fixture appears to be from the early 1950s. I did find the correct mounting crossbar-strap& brass mounting hardware. But no pic. I replaced socket with a New-Old-Stock one(wires are longer& very pliable, like a new fixture)

A vintage porch light fixture made of copper( a magnet does not stick to it) with an unique glass design. The part that goes against the wall is apr. 4 inches in diameter. The light will extend out from the wall apr. 5 inches to the very front edge. The overall height is apr. 8 1/2 inches. The copper part may have some light dings in it. Nothing that caught our attention. The glass shade has several light flakes/ chips on the bottom edge. The chips or flakes do not affect the appearance, they are probably from when the bulb was changed and the base of the bulb came in contact with the glass edge. The wiring has not been tested. May need new electrical. The pictures should show the rest. Plenty of lighting was used to show as much detail as possible. The item may have glare spots or look shiner than what it really is. Any?
