This old hook is made of steel and has two parts. There is a square mounting plate with 4 countersunk mounting holes. It is 2 inches by 2 inches. I believe this shade was crafted sometime around the 1970's. It is very well-made and of substantial weight. Without being overly heavy. Condition is great! No cracked or chipped glass. All pieces are firmly in place. And. There is no other damage of any kind. It could use a little better cleaning. Colors of the glass colors are an off/white a softer red and cream infused with streaks of Amber and pinkish orange. I am not a stained glass expert. And did not get around to looking up the proper terms for this type glass, but if you're in the know about glass, you don't need me to tell you. Shape is octagonal with a total of 16 stained glass pieces. The eight side pieces angle inward approaching the bottom. Which directs light upward. Would be great as a cover for a candle centerpiece. Vintage Underwriter's Laboratories Porch Light Brass Lantern Style. It is approx. 11" tall by 6" across front and 4" across side(not including part that mounts to wall) The glass inserts have small bubbles in them. I read on the internet that bubbles in old glass are common and it is rarer to find these in glass made after 1920. The glass front and sides are free of chips and cracks. I am not sure if the metal is brass plated or not. The metal has some wear and paint spills. I cleaned it up a little and it would no doubt shine up more once a deeper cleaning is done with the appropriate polish. This was not mine and I am not sure if it works or needs to be rewired. This auction is for a wonderful and older mission slag glass light/sconce that dates to the 1920's-1930's time period. This antique porch light is found in the style of the ARTS& CRAFTS/MISSION time period. It is made primarily of black cast iron with caramel slag glass panels. There are found separate slag glass panels. This will definitely need rewiring as shown. The back plate has four screws and is also made of a heavier cast iron. This light will definitely make a very strong statement on your porch or entryway. I love the way the light hangs freely on the cast iron hook and can sway. The glass globe is stunning and I used a number of backgrounds for you to see how the color of the glass changes with its background. The glass has a smoked brown/burgundy/gray appearance to it depending upon its background. The sconce's overall measurement with globe is 12 inches long by 6-1/2 inches wide. The metal fixture alone measures 7-1/2 inches long by 4-1/2 inch diameter wall bracket and comes out 5-1/4 inches from the wall. The stunning globe is 6-1/2 inches diameter and has a 3 inch fitter. Here is a matching pair of glass light shades or globes in opaque white milk glass. They are fully enclosed which leads me to believe they were for a bathroom fixture. Or perhaps for an outdoor setting, as in porch lighting. They have a very old and classy look to them with the all over hobnails between vertical ridges. They both have the metal finials for attachment. I don't know which way is up with these, but they would good either way. They are a little dirty but in excellent condition. They measure about 5 1/2" from the fitter end to the finial, and the fitter end itself measures 3 1/4" outside diameter.

W)hooooooooo wouldn't enjoy a cute vintage owl lantern to place amongst their decor this season? This fun lightweight metal owl is a delight. It features cute scallop detail. Wire feet, and a glass amber-colored candle holder and the vintage candle lights right up. Measurements: just under 6.5" tall(excluding the handle) Base diameter is about 4.25" Condition: it's in previously enjoyed vintage condition. With scratches, paint chips, and some scrapes. About 1/2 of the glass holder is still filled with a candle that lights and keeps just fine, and is unscented. It's easy to tote around. Its in great shape, just has a couple little rust spots on the cage that holds the glass, you can see it in the pics. I lost the mounting bracket somewhere, but luckily kept the small nuts with it. You can pick up a mounting bracket at just about any hardware store for a few dollars. This measures about 8 inches high and wide and about 9 inches deep.

A great solid heavy brass and glass fixture that could be used on a porch or in a hall; circa 1930's or 40's. Fixture has 6 panels of glass. One panel is hinged as a side door that has a locking knob. Glass is set in a very heavy solid brass frame with an antique finish. There are four candelabra base sockets. Cast Fleur De Lis accents adorn the top of the frame. Dimensions of body are 20" tall by 10" in diameter. A very nice old French outside bracket lantern light in original condition as taken down. There is some light surface rust but nothing deep so could be cleaned and varnished, painted or just left as is, the choice is yours, one small piece of glass is cracked as shown in the photo but it is at the back and you don't notice it, the others are all good, it is 46 cm high with a 31 cm stand off, as usual it will need a new wire.
