The screws are pretty rusted and the guts of the fixture are missing(should be rewired anyways because of age) Only cleaning I've done to it is knocking some dust off. This auction is for a pair of authentic original vintage 1920’s cast brass and copper outdoor lighting fixtures. The pair is in good working condition and rewired. These quality fixtures have cast brass bases and copper tops with an original matte black paint finish. The two back hinges at the back of both fixtures are inoperable however the brass thumb screw in front securely holds the lid on each base(see photos) All glass is intact and unbroken and will be packed separately and shipped in the same package as the fixtures. These are well crafted and fixtures of this quality are scarce in the market. No makers marks or casting numbers visible on these. One original porcelain fixture was replaced with a new porcelain fixture during rewiring. These vintage outdoor lighting fixtures will definitely add value to your home. Vintage Tudor Gothic Wrought Iron Porch Light Reticulated captured Crackle Glass
This crusty 50+ year old survivor is freshly removed from an old porch in Michigan and needs TLC. The lantern measures an impressive 16” tall(add 5” for the massive link chain) x 8” square near the top x 4” square near the base and has wrought twist corner elements and wrought floral topper. The glass is a rare olive amber crackle blown into an iron mesh. I see no breaks in the glass and it has no wiring. It is obviously rusty under a later coat of black paint: I see no rust-through. Some of the cloth covering is worn off at the chain but copper does not appear compromised. Fixture measures 9 1/2" wide diagonally point to point. 8 1/4" wide flat to flat. Very nice vintage. 1908-1920) Arts& Crafts Mission Style light fixture. Originally was used as a porch fixture but could be used indoors as well. Body. Tube, cage and ceiling attachment appear to be made of copper. I have deliberately scratched the interior of the ceiling attachment, see photo) to see that it is in fact copper. There is an oval metal link that attaches the fixture to the top. This piece is made of steel and has rusted and pitted. Piece has it's original patina which looks GREAT. Piece has not been cleaned or polished in any way and is exactly as I found it. I will be dusty and dirty when it arrives to you. Piece appears to be original other than the wiring. It appears that the piece has be re-wired at some time. I would recommend another re-wiring before you attach it to your home. Piece measures. When hanging, from ... moretop to bottom 19 1/2" The actual fixture measures 11" tall and 6 1/2" square in diameter. Ceiling attachment measures 4 1/2" square. Underside door is hinged and has a small latch that works perfectly. All five windows. sides and underside) have a pebble grain finish and are in excellent condition. The fixture is in excellent condition. No dents. Dings or repairs, just dusty/ dirty. The square piece that would mount to the ceiling has dents and wavy areas along the top edge. See photos. And there is a Full Mica Insert behind them. This Lamp is in Very Good. Used Condition. Surface Rust. And Frayed Wires. I have not tested the lamp. Due to the Frayed Wires. Vintage Hanging Lantern Light Ornate Stamped Porch Indoor Outdoor Chain
Here is a great vintage stamped lantern. I am not sure exactly how old it is. But the cord is old. I bought this from an estate sale at a hundred year old house. The lenses are plastic. It has a chain attached to the top and bottom and the cord runs to the bottom of the lantern so it could be hung or the chains could be removed and it could be set on a table. It is very cool looking. It measures about 14" tall and 5.5" wide. The top chain is about 6 feet long and the bottom chain Is about 8 feet long. Both chains do have a little rust. Light is in good used condition. It has no denting but needs a good cleaning. This light works. But the cord has been spliced back together. We have for auction an amazing shadow box of front steps leading to the front door. Dod you notice the light is on in the pictures. Signed and dated 1991 but I can not make out the name of the artist. The frame shows some wear and has a few scratches on it. Vintage Made in England GLASS porch Light Bubble type
I ended this auction because someone was telling me the glass was not glass but plastic. They are wrong. This is a GLASS lamp. They are panels with 6 rock shaped bubbled out parts. I have taken pictures of this and relisted this item. THis light came from England and has a gold label inside that reads as much. I think it is from the 50s or 60s. The paint is not very bright and mostly gone. I didn't clean the lamp very good I didn't want to wash off the rest of the paint. The Lamp needs to be rewired but you can see it is still cool lit up. The dimensions are 11" tall the base is 6" the top is about 8" One roof side has a dent. This is a used item. Buyer pays shipping.

Asian influenced mid century porch sconces from Artolier Corp. Garfield, NJ. A great looking set to showcase your postwar, mid century ranch or rambler pad. I am guessing they are from the 60's. They are constructed of a lightweight metal, painted black with three panes of reverse painted glass. They take a standard light bulb. Size: Roof line is 8" wide by 4.75" deep. They will protrude 6.5" off your wall when installed. The height from the base of lantern to brass ball at top is about 9" tall. The backplates are 4 7/16" square. I have tested both and both are in working order. Condition: They are in excellent used condition. No major dings or dents. No cracks to glass. Each one has one tiny spot of paint loss on its roof, one on the seam coming up(see pic) and one just a small fleck. This auction is for ONE old. Handmade porch or outdoor light. The light the winner receives, may or may not be pictured, but the two main differences between the lights is how much exterior paint is on them and how much twist there is on the 1/4" square stock welded to the light. It is probably an antique. But I haven't been able to verify that. I am told these were taken off a local church in the Williams, AZ area. It was definitely on a building when someone repainted it. That is why you see paint on the parts that would have been against the wall. The previous owner told me that the glass is handblown. When you run your hand on the glass. Pieces of it tries to grab you. The 1/4" square stock looks like it was heated& hand twisted. Before it was welded to the frame. Rate of twist varies from bar to bar on the light. Some ... moreare 1 twist per inch. Some are 1 twist per 2 inch. The wires are pretty old& I don't trust the insulation. Talk about a barn find. this incredibly cool fixture/ craftsman porch light has been sitting in a dusty box in my garage for two decades. I remember buying it for a previous home of mine but never got around to installing it. It is in original condition. All the way down to the fantastic patina. The material is hand hammered copper and believe it or not all of the slag glass panels(5 total) are original and uncracked. The fixture measures 10.5 inches from the bottom to the tip of the final and it sticks out 6 inches from the wall. There's no reserve on this fixture- I hate to see her go but I know someone will dig it and it will get used on a cool home. So bid knowing it's going to a new home. I'll let the pictures sell this great fixture. I have not tried to clean it or even wipe it down. that's how much I respect the finish ... moreon this old gem. If I were installing it. I'd consider re-wiring it but that's your call. It's a simple thing to do and light sockets are less than $5 at Home Depot or any hardware store. A vintage cast iron light fixture with lightly textured ruby red glass panels. Measures approximately 11-1/2" tall to the top of the hanger finial x 4¾" in diameter at the widest point. The mounting plate measures approximately 6" in diameter. The glass panels are free from chips or cracks. Overall condition is good. There are small two cracks in the cast iron on one side which does not affect the soundness of the fixture- please see picture#6, the cast iron is oxidized, it will need new wiring and will benefit from a more thorough cleaning.

New carmel colored slag glass has been professionally installed. Lamps are charcoal gray or just simply weathered aluminum- see photos. Lamps measure 17 and 3/8 inches in length and 11 inches in width. They are in great used condition for their age but may need to be rewired which is a simple procedure.
