DESCRIPTION Up for auction is a wonderfully shabby. Ornate, wooden, architectural pediment, featuring old paint, applied gesso or carved ornamentation, and two drawer pulls that have been added in existing nail holes- little uneven which adds to the over all vintage charm of the piece. I'm not sure what this piece was originally a part of, but it a perfect compliment to a shabby cottage or country French farmhouse decor. I've sanded it smooth and then dry brushed three layers of different colored chalk paint over the original paint for a one of a kind piece. No hangers are attached, but if you are the winnning bidder and would like, I will add picture hanging wire to the old nails extending above the top of the pediment. Two Antique/Vintage Cast Iron Pediment Wall Hanging Decor Architectural Pieces. These pieces are architectural in nature. They were out side all these years. Probably on a porch or around a door. They have weathered beautifully. If I were displaying them, I would leave them just as they are. They measure 20 x 8 1/2 and 21 x 9. They were made to hang together. One is slightly longer than the other. As you can see in the pictures, one has 4 leaves and the other has 7. Three of the leaves are missing from the one with 4 leaves. They still look amazing hanging together. I have adjusted the price to cover this. It is the leaves and acorn pattern. There are some full acorns and some caps only- they are intended to be that way. They are flat on one side and sort of three dimensional on the other as the leaves curve out. I also think they would be ... morenice staggered with a mirror in between. These are heavy weighing 13# together. I will only charge actual cost of shipping. They are chippy but not loosing paint very badly. A very nice wall display. Beaver Falls Antique Stove Tile Flower Cast Iron Pediment Eastlake1890 Gothic
Antique Art Tile made by the Beaver Falls Art Tile Co. of Beaver Falls.Pa. Marked on the back. Measures 3" round x a nominal 1/2" thick. Housed in it's original cast iron framework.Probably a pediment at the top of a stove,as it is a two sided design. First the cast iron-14-1/2" wide x 9-1/2" tall x 3/4" thick. Neat eastlake/gothic motifs. Original screws and acorn nuts, that thread easily. No cracks/breaks. Typical surface rust that can be easily removed with a wire wheell,naval jelly or bead blasting. The tile is a wonderfully stylized daisy with a double border. Deep midnight blue glaze. A chip to each border as seen. The large notch is factory moulded into the tile and fits into a nib of cast iron in the frame,keeping it from rotating. Beaver Falls tiles are rare and highly collectible. Antique Primitive Carved Wood Architectural Salvage Pediment 3 Misc. pieces
Three unique vintage architectural salvage wood pieces. All are in very good vintage condition. Will need some cleaning, I will leave that up to their new owner, I don't know enough about old wood to clean it for fear or damaging it. First there is a nice hand carved pediment that measures 18 in. across X 5 in. at the tallest place and 3/4 in. in depth. Next is a unique fan shaped piece with some carving on it, the measurements are 10 in. from point to top X 8 in. at it's widest points and 1 in. at it's deepest depth. Last is a very detail carved rosette, some chipping on 2 of the petals(see pictures) there is a hole drilled in the middle. Overall very nice pieces. Thank you for looking.

Vintage CAST IRON Lintel pediment cornice eyebrow Architectural
Handsome Vintage CAST IRON Lintel Pediment Cornice Eyebrow This massive Architectural accent came out of a very old pre 1920 home in Montgomery Alabama. It has a very heavy look- It is in very good condition for its age. MEASUREMENTS-Approximately 50 inches long and about 8 inches high. Very heavy. 6 are available- price is for one lintel It has an vintage feel to it and could look great in some modern Office or home. GOOD CONDITION WITH OBVIOUS RUST FROM BEING OUTSIDE but no holes or cracks. The Lintel or cornice has a nice bevel to it-a handsome architectural accent. SEE PHOTOS of where some of these were installed at my parents' old home- The iron lintels that I have in this listing are only for the bottom lintels as you see in photo#2- long rectangular in photo- I have in another listing for the top additional top lintel with heavy ... morescrollwork. My parents combined the two lintels which as you can see is very attractive. The lintels have been stored outside for many years so they would need to be cleaned of rust- They are very heavy. The extra white lintels as you see on front of house number 10 bottom lintels and 10 top scrolled lintels and can be listed for sale as well but you would have to figure how to remove them from brick) This is some sort of an exterior lintel facade. Most historic commercial buildings have cornices to cap their facades. Usually found in buildings constructed before 1900, approx 70 years old or more and each piece is an great vintage Architectural element. Many like these could be used as bed head board.Planters, tables, and as art displayed on interior and exterior walls. As you can see in the photos there is aging but nothing out of character on such pieces. These have been outside for 50 plus years. The cornice could possibly even be painted. Victorian Carved Walnut Wood Pediment Crest Crown Top Trim Mirror Clock Door
Here is an antique Victorian clock or mirror pediment in as found condition. This carved piece measures about 18" wide and 8" tall. Plus mounting bracket attached with square/cut nails. There is a crack that can be seen in photos, as well as the original wrinkled varnish. This antique walnut trim piece would clean up nicely and add that finishing touch to a Victorian mirror, clock case or what have you.
