There are 4 door knobs. They are 2 inches in diameter. There is a threaded door knob shaft that is 4 1/8 inches long. There is an exterior door plate that is 2 ½ by 12 ¼ inches. Use the smaller pieces listed below inside. There is also an interior door plate the same size. But it does not appear it will work with this exterior plate above since the thumb turn knob does not line up with the hole for the lock in the exterior plate. However, it might be accomplished by using this plate inside and using the smaller pieces below outside. The smaller pieces include 1 lock escutcheon. 2 knob escutcheons, 1 door jamb plate, and 2 miscellaneous escutcheons. There is not enough screws left with this set to mount all necessary pieces. Vintage NOS Arts & Crafts Brass Exterior Entry Door Lockset Knobs Plate Lock Key
Penn Antique Restoration. Vintage NOS Brass-plated Steel Door Set w/Knobs. Plates, Lock, Key. Elegant. Vintage, door set salvaged from Southeastern NH. The set was made by"Lockwood Hardware Mfg. Co. of Fitchburg, MA. It consists of 2 knobs, 2 escutcheons, 1 steel lock with a faceplate, 1 strike plate, 1 spindle and a working key. All parts are made of steel and are plated with brass. There are a few places were the brass wore off, but the majority of the plating is intact. The set is considered. New Old Stock, which means that it was made a long time ago but was never used. Aside from the tiny nicks and light scratches in the plating. All parts are in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks, dents, or deep scratches. About the lock: The lock is reversible and could accommodate either a left or right swing door. The buttons on the ... morelock faceplate control a function. Which disables/enables the exterior knob from turning. Once the bottom button is depressed, the exterior knob will not turn, and the upper latch will remain extended, in the locked position. In essence, the upper latch acts as a deadbolt and provides an extra level of security from anyone on the outside of the door. Once the exterior knob is frozen, and the door is shut, the only way to retract the upper latch is by using the key for the top keyhole, or by turning the interior knob. This is a very convenient feature for the person inside of the house/room. No more locking and unlocking to let someone in. Simply turn the knob, open the door, let someone in, close the door and it's already locked. To disable the auto-lock feature, simply push the top button. The lock was opened. Inspected, and we sprayed grease on and around all internal parts to facilitate their movement. The lock operates smoothly. Although the set came with only 1 key. This is a lot of Nine(9) JAO HSINN Door Knob Sets(that's 18 door knobs total) They are very beautiful. Large, upscale& elegant. You'll find that each set sells new in the $70.00 to $120.00 range! They measure approx. 2 1/2" in diameter and are very heavy and sturdy feeling. Included are: two crystal sets, three white porcelain sets with floral motif, and four plain white porcelain sets. These were installed in an upscale home that was then quickly redecorated again. So while they are used, they are in very good condition. I am not an expert in the mechanical parts, but it appears that there are at least 9 of each other main part present. Please refer to the photos to see what's included and condition. Set of 6 19th Century Cobalt Blue & Bronze Door Knobs or Furniture Handles
A set of six cobalt blue doorknobs in very good condition. These are late 19th or early 20th century pieces. I don't know the maker and these are handmade based on the slight variations in size. They are slightly over 2 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. In the last pic you can see some minor damage to 2 of the knobs. I have 4 plain back plates. I do not have the spindles. These would look great in a hallway and you can use these for one side of the door. These might also be used to dress up a piece of furniture. Vintage/Antique Door Knob Whether for display or for use on a rustic home. This is just a great set. IT WORKS! Turn the handle to the left and the latch opens completely. Let go of the knob and the latch returns to closed position. I don't have a skeleton key so I have not tested the locking mechanism. Back in the day nobody ever locked their houses anyway because everybody had skeleton keys that fit all the locks. This old lock measures approximately 3 1/8" X 4" X 5/8" Special Note: When I list old. Used, classic, antique, collectible and/or vintage items, I do so in just the condition I find them. Antique set of white porcelain door knobs with the escutcheon plate included. Although rather crudely fashioned still it looks functional. Looking at the back side of the plate it appears to have been punched out with a chisel or something. Because the hole doesn't look exactly round at the top of the key hole slot. Or maybe it's just really old ant that's the way they did it then. The# on the back says 1363 Which I think would be the part number. The knobs them selves are in excellent condition with no issues considering they are over 100 years old.
