Old. Original, and complete door knob set. There is no maker's mark. Made of steel with brass finish, this set appears to have been unused, but has some tarnish spots and light scratches. This is a vintage Corbin mortise entry door lock. It is a little dirty but works fine, it has two keys, brass striker plate, and inside turn knob, also included are 5 door knobs with shafts, 3 are brown wood grain the other 2 are black, they do have some surface rust on the shafts but nothing bad, the lock measures about 71/2" X 1 1/4" thank you for looking.

Really nice hard to find Russell Erwin lockset for your consideration. US and Canada Patents March and May 1900. Unusual hard to find set which includes two nicely patterned ornate backplates. Two doorknobs with patterning, mortise lock with matching faceplate as the included latch and deadbolt slide catch marked 1900 and a drive rod with a few set screws. Mortise lock latch springs feel good although should have a good cleaning and lube for optimal operation. Mortise box looks pressed and peened. not cast iron. Marked Russell Erwin mfg co. and some other stuff that is hard to read. Original finish on all the pieces is worn although it looks like a craftsman period style black with copper Jappanned appearance. A vintage Corbin brass cylinder half mortise lock for a door. Drawer or whatever your need is. The original metal slot key comes with it. The brass plate measures a little over 2 7/8 inches by 1 7/16 inces. The cylinder is 7/8 inches long by 5/8 inches wide. The lock housing and plate is 3/8 inches thick. The holes are 2 1/2 inches on center side to side and i 1/4 inches top to bottom. The key is 2 1/4 inches long. The lock and key work great. The brass could use a little polish but is in good shape and can be used as is. It is marked with the Corbin logo on the back. Broken Schlage L90 Series Electric mortise lock bodies

I do not know how long they were used or why they were replaced. I applied power to both of them. One you could hear the relay or solenoid click. But the state, of the part that turns the handle, didn't seem to change. On the other one the relay or solenoid did not work at all. Bottom line is these both do not seem to be working correctly. Vintage Brass Yale Entrance Door Set Fancy Knobs Keys Strike Plate Mortise Lock
There are many images so be sure to scroll down to view them of this very nice antique vintage front door entrance lockset that is very old and working condition. This is set is much better than images make it appear. The backplates one of them is marked Yale 14 7/8 x 2 3/4 and then has a number also in center that looks like 16765. The size is 14 7/8 x 2 3/4. I am showing all the pieces with it taken apart. It has two keys that fits i and turns the deadbolt but it really needs taken apart and oiled to work right and those keys are marked Cole National and the lock that they fit in is marked Yale. The door knobs are very nice and I am showing close up views. The inside knob has a screw for adjustment. This set has the original patina and I have not cleaned it. Antique Corbin Bronze Mortise Door Lock Set Victorian Ornate 1899 Rare
Offered is this fantastic Victorian. Art Nouveau style complete mortise lock set with matching door knobs and door plates. Patent date is 1899 probably made by Corbin. Signed on inside of door plate and on the front of one door knob. Left unpolished with the original 115 year old patina. I think it's a combination of brass and bronze highly ornate sand cast metals. This set is fully functioning with dead bolt and inside lock on the door knob shaft that turns and locks from the inside. Condition is excellent condition with no damage. The original lock has been re-keyed. The plate measures 12" long by about 3" widest point. Weight is about 7-8 pounds. Good luck!

Antique/Vintage CORBIN mortise lock set complete original Gripset
Fully functional Antique Corbin lock. I have cleaned the lockset itself. And it works perfectly. The lock cylinder has been cleaned, and completely rebuilt with new springs, and 3 cut keys. The gripset is 12 inches top to bottom. I haven't cleaned it thoroughly. As the original finish won't survive a wheel buffing, being of an antique metal finish over bronze or brass. The brass is coming through in heavy wear spots, such as the thumb turn assembly, and some greenish brass verdigris in some other areas. I'll leave it up to the new owner to choose the degree of polish desired, but it looks pretty nice as is. By the way. This whole grip set will buff up brass if you have a wheel and a lot of time. Antique NORWALK LOCK CO. Brass Mortise Door Lock, Knob and Handle Set
Up for auction is a Norwalk Lock Company brass mortise lock with an oval"egg shaped" knob on one side and hinged brass pull on the other side. Made in So. Norwalk. Conn. this is a heavy set that weighs over 3 pounds, 6 ounces. I do not have a skeleton key to fit this set, but it should not be difficult to get one from a locksmith. I'm not sure if it is solid brass, but I have put a couple of different magnets up to the knobs and mortise and found no magnetic attraction. The mortise is 13/16" thick, 4 1/2" tall, and 3 5/8" front to back. The manufacturer's info is stamped on the lock, as you can see in the last photo. There is also a number 14 at bottom of the lock side. The knob part is about 2 3/8" long, and shows some shiny spot on the outer edge, which could be from hand wear or from someone trying ... moreto shine it up. It feels like it is solid. The pull/handle, which is hinged, also measures about 2 3/8" long. This handle also has a round faceplate. The mortise has some paint on the edges, which I could flake off with my thumbnail, so it isn't on tight. I'll leave paint removal to you. The side of the mortise with the knob is a brassier color than the other sides and edges, which have more of a patina. It doesn't look like it was polished, just that it wasn't exposed enough to get a patina. That side does have some tarnish spots. Please check the photos closely, and ask if you have any questions. I have a lot of old mortise lock drive rods for your consideration. These are hard to find 1/4 inch three piece with groove design. One end is fixed to the doorknob with a pin and the other would have used a set screw on the knob neck. I carefully rewmoved each pin with a punch to make sure they were reusable. Nice hard to find lot of original doorknob drive rods for that hard to find fit for repair. Replacement or vintage renovation. There are 4 in this lot.
