Vintage PENN 14" Entry Commercial Mortise Lock Brass Double Thumb Latch Parts
Saved from a scraper. But some damage was already done. Pieces are a bit bent as seen, but this lock is still restorable, or useful for parts. Original cylinders are intact, but no key is with it. Both plates and the mounting plate for the lock will need straightening before polishing the brass. As best I can tell, they are solid, not plated. Lock may be disassembled further to keep shipping cost down. That being said. Shipping may not be accurately reflected by estimator. Consider it a worst case price.

This can be used on the right or left of a jam. It has a nice age darkened smooth patina with minor rust and pitting. It’s about 4 ¼” x 1 1/8” wide not including the tongue. If they should be a little long you can always file or grind them a little shorter as well as doing the same for the openings if they should be not quite right. Marples Lock Mortise Chisel, 1/2" Size, Outstanding Condition, Hardwood Handle
This is a Marples lock mortise chisel in the 1/2" size. Outstanding condition. This chisel shows very little if any use and there are just a few storage marks present. The handle is made of beech and is about 6" long. The business end of the chisel has a sharp edge and does not appear to have been used. The swan neck or lock mortise chisel is made for getting a flat bottom on your mortise which is a hard to reach area. The curve in the shaft makes it easy for the user to apply force in a horizontal direction(bottom of mortise) by using the tool as a lever; this is a very old and beautiful design. Marples tools were made in Sheffield England and are very high quality tools. This is an excellent chisel with very little use and ready for your shop. Antique Fastenerless Mortise Locks NO Key s* 4 Patent Dates from 1873 to 1885 Offered is a rarely found original Gory patented mortise locks. Quantity of 2. No Keys. This lock are unique in that they were patented to by using no screws or nails to attach to cabinets. Etc. There are 4 patent dates stamped on the back side as: April 22'73(1873) Aug 22'82(1882) July 17'83(1883) and Nov 24'85(1885) There is some minor metal staining found but mechanisms work well with the turning of the barrel key. Large lock measures 4" long by 2 3/8" wide and 1/2" deep. Tested with a key and it works well. Smaller lock measures 2 1/4" long by 2 1/16" wide by 1/2" deep. Not tested. This was the lock that was under patent infringement lawsuits in the 1890s by Duer vs Corbin. Key turns but the lock works do not move. note the minor surface rust on the lock interior. some of the japanned finish has flaked off due to the rust. I did not marry the Sargent and Russwin pieces. I rec'd the piece as shown in the pics. I subsequently unscrewed the bolt that held on one Russwin key lock cylinder and removed the lock cylinder so that I could fit the lock into a small flat rate box. The inside looks good.but you will have to judge that for yourself.

Vintage Cast Iron Mortise Box Lock House Lock
Offering for sale is a antique cast iron mortise box lock or rim box that came from a old cypress house that was tore down. Cross front measure 5 1/2" long. Box part measure 3 3/4" X 3 1/8" I/2" thick sides. Key hole opening is about 3/4" long long with no key. The spring lock seem to work well an strong. Not sure if the interior is in good condition may need repair. Weight of lock an knobs are 1 1/2 pounds. Package will be charged for 3 pounds. Ask questions if need.
