Nice Handsome Antique Sessions Andover Mantel/Shelf Clock from the estate of a clock maker/collector! Great Project! Very Cool! Clock is in decent antique condition. This is a clock case only and does not include the work/movement. The case has some dings and scratches on it as shown in photos- nothing that a little polish won't help. A bit of the Veneer is coming off on the front left side as well as the lower rear side as shown in the photos. The face of the clock has a bit of crackling on it which adds to the charm and there is a bit of the stain here and there throughout the face. Needs a good cleaning and TLC. This RARE pair of vases features Japanese influenced platinum and gold enameled butterfly and floral decoration over a rich cased cranberry glass or pigeon blood glass. The coloration is gorgeous. A deep ruby red. And the decoration is superb- hand painted platinum and gold floral sprays surrounding a butterfly, also hand painted with platinum& gold enamels. Notice how the vases compliment each other: One butterfly is mostly platinum while the other vase has a butterfly which is mostly gold. It was made circa 1870. It is an extremely classy mantle clock in need of a warm loving home. This clock is weight driven and not spring driven. Weights keep better time than springs as springs run slightly fast when they are first wound and lose power as they wind down and cause the clock to slow down somewhat before windings. This is a Wonderful walnut 100% All-Original 8 DAY DOUBLE DOOR Ogee shelf clock made circa 1840s. It was made by the Jerome and Co. Jerome& Co was one of the largest makers of clocks for a few years– then went out of business– was taken over by the New Haven Clock Co. in about 1850. This clock has all of its original parts(rare- see pictures) Has the original top and bottom glass with the reverse painted picture nearly 100% there, EXTREMELY RARE) has some minor flaking– still looks great) the original movement, original doors(double door ogees are extremely rare) the original back with the original 100% label on the inside, the original pulleys, the original weights and the original dial in outstanding condition! Even has the original pendulum. Usually the top glass has been broken and the bottom glass has long since flaked off or been ... morebroken. Remember this clock was made 20 years before the Civil War! It is believed that less than 2% have survived to this day with most not in very good condition. A most impressive antique. Circa 1850's, Napoleon III, onyx case mantel clock with ormolu brass mounts. The ormolu dial has a center pierced rosette, fine with black numerals, flat beveled glass in brass door. The case front has two top corner ormolu cupid heads. It is in working order, the brass works marked: Japy Freres. It tells the time, coil chimes the hours and halves. The clock measures 19" tall by 11-3/4" wide by 7" deep. Very good plus condition: the lower back case onyx stone has been broken into pieces and cemented back, all other onyx stones without damage. Ormolu brass in original finish, glass fine in door. Includes the key and pendulum.

The clock says HARKNESS& NEW HAVEN CLOCK CO on the bottom, the dial& glass are in nice shape also the hands as well. The marble comes in pure white and for its age in a condition you will almost NOT be able to find. This set is an absolute perfect investment object and has a value far above the price it's offered for in this listing. The movement is just só perfect. That it could easily be sold as being new! The clock works great and keeps accurate time. It has an 8 days windable movement which runs great. The movement is marked with the name of the famous French clockmaker Samuel Marti. A.1" in an oval. The movement is stamped with a serial number for authenticity: 1139.52" This clock even has a chime! It gives 1 strike on the bell on half hours and the amount of strikes on full hours corresponding with the time at that moment. Everything is original. 3 nice vintage clocks all by Session. 1 White& blue colored shelf/mantel ceramic glaze cat with a kitty as the second hand. The ceramic is in excellent condition. Chips of cracks. Paint was touched up, there is no plug/cord attached to the wiring. I wired a temporary plug to the clock and it ran for just a few seconds then quit. I have no experience in clocks so I can't help much.It is clean inside where the clock is and the wiring that came with the clock is there attached to the clock. Needs at the least to need a plug wired. size: 9" tall, 8" wide. Your buying as is. The Clipper Sailing clock does not work but seems to be complete minus a nut on the back. It is very dusty and the chrome sails are showing the beginnings of surface rust but I know they can be cleaned and polished. To often these clock have severe dents or bumps in them; not to mentions the scratches; thís one has none of those. It is one of the larger ones in this category. Made by Junghans! The ticking of it sounds like an engine.the movement is in a great condition and of course it is marked with the PFEILKREUZ Crossed arrows. Special is that this beauty is also marked on the dial! On top there is a large bell which tells you it is time to wake up hitting the bell with a ... morelarge hammer. The sound of it is clear. There is(real) glass in front. FREE of scratches. There is a carriage handle. Made of Yellow copper, on top of this clock. On the dail you will find the time in Arabic numbers. The dial is also divided into 60 partitions; for each minute one partition. Making this piece a very precise instrument. It comes with a paper dial. Conserved with candle wax(original process) in a TOPSTATE! The centre of it is made of yellow copper too. Giving it a superb balance. The hands are made of black metal. There is an extra metal alarm hand on the back. To set the alarm. The dial around it has a scale in Arabic numbers. Both the time and alarm are adjustable on the rear of the clock. This clock passed time without major cosmetic issues. Overall this object is in a very good state but not new. Used products have signs of use. I oiled it's wood it is still wet in the pictures in some places. I put some oil on the movement it still runs, gongs. Offered for sale is this mahogany Sessions Tambour case mantel clock. The model is Dulciana and it can be found in Ly’s Sessions Clock Guide on page 204. It is item 481. Gives 1927 as the date of manufacture and gives a listed value of $300. The clock has a Bim-Bam strike on the hour. Which is a two note, high-low tone struck on two rods and then sounds the half hour with a single strike to a single rod. The clock is in very nice condition but the mechanics/springs on the clock side need to be cleaned. The pendulum will start to tick as some of the gears move, but slowly stops. Vtg Eames Era 1960's Hermle Retro Mantel Clock Westminster Chime & Hour Strike
So if you need something to compliment your furniture and overall decor then this might be the item for you. This clock is a battery operated clock(2"C" cells) and it has a Hermle quartz movement(Made in Germany) which helps date it to the era. It plays on the hour. The quarter hour, the half hour, the three quarter hour. It plays a full Westminster on the full hour as well as chimes the hour strike. The speaker silver cone is dented in but the sound is clear and quite pleasant. The pendulum operation is fairly quiet. It is 18 in. High x 15 in. wide x 4 in. deep. Construction looks to be Teak. Antique chiming mantel clock 2 key wind mercury type pendulum kitchen style
Antique chiming wooden mantel clock. It is a 2 key wind type and comes with the key. I could not find any makers marks on it or where it was made. It has a mercury type pendulum and when wound up it will work for a few minutes and then it slows down and stops. I would say that it is in working condition, but may need a little care to get it working better. I turned the hands to the next hour and it chimed. It is 17" tall, 11" wide, and 5" deep. The glass is in good condition, the pattern on the glass is worn some. Most of the wood is in good condition, there is some peeling as shown in the pictures on the base and one part on the left front. very nice project for restoration, or just to display.
