Rare Ornate Antque Art Nouveau Style Mantel Clock
Check out this gorgeous and very rare antique mantel clock. It's been some time since I've purchased this and having to go by memory. But when I purchased this I was told its' origin was the German Black Forest. There are no markings I can see and the guy in Switzerland where I purchased this said it could be either a Kienzle or Junghans, but thought was surely German given the style and period, which he gauged at early 20th century. The beautiful ladies that adorn the sides of the clock around the face are very striking, as is the distinct face on the pendulum. The face of the clock is just short of incredible. If anyone has any info regarding the origin and story behind this unique piece I would appreciate you forwarding and I will add to the listing. The wood grain is remarkable, and it really came to life with some elbow grease and great antique wood polish. The only drawbacks cosmetically are the side handle has some wear, and the very outside top corners of both sides are chipped. Thanks to my favorite antique clock repairman the mechanics were brought back to life. But forever who ends up with this great clock, please ensure to be careful and use a level as she it is very sensitive given the precise pendulum movement. The outside measurements are 18.5 inches tall from it's tallest peaks and 11 inches wide from it's widest peaks and 4.5 inches deep. Please look at all pictures and feel free to ask any questions. I put as an Ansonia clock only because key marked that unsure if original and i dont see a name anywhere on clock itself. The clock looks complete appears was overwound at some point as the larger metal coil is broken. The front wood has 2 splits one is entire length and about 1/8th" wide other near top not as big.Wood outside is dirty with normal wear and dings of wood. Has a slight musty odor inside back.Is dirty and metal is tarnished.The brass/bronze feet and 2 side metal handles are in very nice condition ornate detailed design. The glass cover looks nice may have minor scratches.No gouges or cracks.The clock face is dirty and has stains throughout.Brass cover metal is worn,tarnished and has scratches.

The Khedive was part of the Welch Patti Opera Series of Clocks. It runs alright although it probably hasn't been serviced in a long time. It strikes the hours on a spiral gong. Note that the pendulum is a modern replacement. As is the key which will be included. The case still has the original finish. But note that a lot of the finish is flaked off at the top and bottom(see first 5 pictures) Also note that the left side base molding was broken and glued back together by a previous owner(see last picture) I believe this could be improved by re-breaking. This is a calendar clock that features a crescent moon third hand that counts the number of days in the month. This is an large clock measuring approximately 23" long x 15" wide x 5" deep. It is a towering clock that features some very stunning swirls all around the oak cabinetry with a beautiful Victorian accents. This clock comes with a Victorian pendulum and key. It worked great for the hour I tested it and even appears to have been restored. The brass movement is extremely clean. The movement ticks wonderfully and it even appears to keep accurate time when level. Along with the rare calendar features it is also equipped with a gong function that strikes the number of hours on the hour and once at the half hour mark. Vintage Sessions mantel clock. Key wind, Lion head handles, claw feet. I am listing another clock similar to this one that is a Sessions and it has claw feet. It has an S on the round pendulum. It has an E embossed into the wood on the bottom of the clock and an E on the metal on the inside. The front feet are numbered 38 and the back feet are numbered 16. It has a glass door. The finish is just about gone on the metal on around the glass and face of the clock. I have no key. The pendulum will swing back and forth for a short while. I think it would work if it were wound. It is a dark almost black color. The measurements are 15" long, 6.5" wide and 11.3" tall from the table. The Lions heads have a ring in their mouths. This is a really neat looking clock. SENTINEL 9– 1928 Offered today is this not often seen Seth Thomas Sentinel 9 that was produced in the year of 1928. The finish is original and looks great without ruining its original finish by sealing it. 85 years have passed. Why ruin it now. The mahogany wood grains and the applied panels below the dial really come out at you. This clock has a beautiful dial that is worn with age. Black Arabic numbers on the original silvered dial with numbers in the chapter ring at each quarter-hour that can be seen from a distance and Seth Thomas signature S and T shaped hour and minute hands. No scratches or chips on the original convex glass. The original finish of the brass bezel and the back door opens and closes properly as they should. There is even a model label on the bottom which is not common. The best sounding Seth Thomas single rod is on ... morethis model which strikes on the hour and half-hours by the rebuilt 89 movement that is keeping excellent time throughout the weeks. Every aspect of this clock is fully functional. What I do to ensure you are buying a quality clock. Ø Disassemble the entire clock and movement myself completely. ITEM DESCRIPTION Offered here is a near mint and fully functioning mid 1960's Jaeger LeCoultre*526* Baby Atmos Round Dial Mantel Clock. Serial number 174,572. This model, affectionately know as the*Baby* has a smaller outer casing at 8.25 inches x 7.25 inches x 5.25 inches. Note: Any reflections you see on the finish are just background and sun reflections and not wear. The mint 15 jewel Jaeger LeCoultre signed movement(526) has just been fully disassembled& cleaned. Adjusted and timed by me and is working very accurately, keeping great time. The bellows(dated'63) has been tested and is in perfect working order. The round Swiss signed egg-shell white painted dial, which has applied gold markers& numerals, is in mint condition as are the original gold ... morehands. The rear bellows housing is in mint condition with no scratches, damage, cracks or discoloration. The original 24k gold plated finish on the exterior is in fantastic condition with no serious wear and only a few light spots on the left side and back. There are no stress cracks on the base. All of the glass panels are clean with no chipping or scratches and the front door has the pull knob and opens and closes fine. It has remnants of Jaeger LeCoultre lettering on the door. This later Baby model has a leveling bubble which functions properly and it also has a pendulum locking screw underneath for added security in shipping. Here's a very stunning antique clock case I believe to be German.has the number 115 stamped on the back.great high relief casting of cast Iron with bronze finish. Has a winged Cherub at the top and some sore of Winged Griffin type creatures at the base. Measures 8 1/4 inches across the bottom and 10 inches high.the opening for the clock is 2 1/2 inches in front and 4 inches in diameter in the back opening. VINTAGE BRASS MANTEL CLOCK, ROCOCO STYLE, WEST GERMAN
Vintage brass mantel clock. 6 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Solid brass except for metal bezel with plastic cover. Body is Rococo style with scroll work. Ornate scrolled hands are brass as are Roman Numerals. Marked West Germany on face and back. Works but can be tempermental. I think it was once wound to tight.

Vintage Ansonia Black Enameled Wind Iron Mantel Clock NR
We inherited this clock and don't know to much about it. It's a Ansonia black enameled iron wind mantel clock. The bottom of the face dial reads Manufactured by The Ansonia Clock Company. New York. United States Of America. The back of the clock reads Ansonia Clock Co. New A York USA. The back metal cover reads 373LdHM. I wound the clock up and it worked for a short while then stopped. I am not a clock person and have no idea what's wrong. I don't see any chips or cracks on the case. There are a few spots where it looks like the enamel and gilding has worn off. The face dial has 2 hairlines running vertically. Please email with any questions. Please remember that I know very little clock terminology. So keep that in mind when asking your questions. Antique New Haven Mantel Clock Runs but Needs TLC
This is an old New Haven Mantel Clock it is a running clock but the chime is not working. The case on this clock is wonderful it has great wood grain patterns. The movement looks like it needs cleaning and for some reason I can't get the chime to work it may just need cleaning. There is a few issues on the case it looks like they did a repair on one side of the foot but done very well. It has a spot on top where it looks like a finial was there but is filled and there are some minor dings in the wood. The clock is 9" tall 19" wide and it weighs 6.6 pounds.
