Vintage Seth Thomas Electric Westminster Chime Beehive Clock in as is as found original condition. Clock keeps good time and chimes the way it should. The movement is super clean and it looks like a pretty new electric cord. Dial in great shape and glass also. The case has finish loss from age but no dents. Cracks or splits. The back door is not warped. Has a key on the back door to shut off the chime. The transport clip for the chime rods is off and must be reattached, comes with clock. On offer here is a lovely early 1950s Smiths Enfield mantel clock. Which is in beautiful condition. This clock has been fully restored and cleaned by myself and I have lightly restored the case to a high standard while still keeping the character of the clock. This clock is an eight day and strikes on the half hour and counts the hours at 12. The medium oak coloured case dimensions are 11 ¾” wide by 9” high by 5” deep. The clock dates from the early 1950s and for a clock around 60 years old and because of the service it has undergone runs and chimes very well. Please do bear in mind that this is an old clock and therefore although in very good ... morecondition for its age. There are some imperfections. As I have said, the case is in very good condition but I have not over repaired it. As I feel this would spoil the clock. To that end the case will have some small marks which will be related to its age. Like most old clocks. The key has been taken and lost by the key gremlin. Therefore this clock will come with a replacement key. As with all my clocks. The buyer will receive my own care sheets so that you will get the most out of the clock. VINTAGE NEW HAVEN ARTLARM ART DECO ALARM CLOCK~ BAKELITE~GOTHIC CATHEDRAL~MANTEL
This is an old New Haven'Artlarm' art deco type bakelite alarm clock with a gothic cathedral type styling. It came with some estate sale items and is in unknown operating condition. And being sold as is. It's best to assume it's not working. The main defect is that the center of the base between the 2 side pedestals is broken off and missing. It can be seen in photos 3& 4. At first we thought that it was designed that way, but then noticed the rough edges. As far as the mechanism goes, none of the knobs or levers on the back side were moved. There's also some light rust on some of the metal controls. It's obvious that the clock wasn't maintained in operating condition. It looks like if the bakelite finish is cleaned up, it might have a marbleized pattern to it. The slightly curved front plastic viewing lens ... morehas lost a little of it's clarity. It appears to be designed to pivot on the 2 side posts, but we didn't try to loosen the 2 brass cap nuts. This might make a nice project for a clock restorer, or just use it as a nice vintage display item on a mantel or bookshelf.

I don't know if this clock works. I bought it at an estate sale in a large mystery box. There is some white paint spatter and varnish spatter on the clock. It will need a cosmetic makeover to restore it to its original beauty. It is somewhere between white and ivory right now. The inner workings(see pictures) look to be free moving. The weight comes loose. Two keys are included. One key came with the clock. One was recently bought. This clock features the signature lion heads on the sides but instead of the typical ring. Seth Thomas Mantel Clock Early 1900's Adamantine Original 89MV Vintage Collectab
Bidding on a Seth Thomas all original clock from the early 1900's. This clock was produced somewhere around 1910. The clock has been cleaned and polished. The finished is very nice almost factory. There are some chips on the corners which is very common with these types of finishes. Deep dark rosewood cherry finish is very rich looking. See Pictures. The brass is all polished shinned and clean, feet, bezel, glass, hinges on doors etc. Both doors open and close as they should. The Bezel and glass are in great shape, there is some wear on the inside, unnoticed. The dial is about an A- Not perfect but very nice for the age. The 89AL movement has been cleaned, the springs have been greased, and the pivots have been oiled, including the inside pivots. This clock will not need service for about 7 years. The tic-toc is right on, although running ... moreslightly fast at this time. The hands and pendulum are original for the period of ST 1900 clock. Pendulum is brass sided. This is not a project, take it out of the box and display it. The shine you see on the clock is what you get. There is no polish on the clock to enhance the pictures. There are some service dates written on the clock, not clear, however mine are. This is an 8 day wind, the key in not original ST, however very easy to pick up one online. Ansonia Clock Company. Porcelain, Tecumseh" C. 1904. Case is 11" high. 9" wide, and 5" deep, signed on the back. Primary colors of yellow, green accents and white, with flowers painted in the white sections, and gold highlights. The shell designs and finial in the middle make for an attractive case. Movement is 8 day. Striking the hours and once on the half hours. It is running but could use a cleaning. Patent date on the works is June 18. 1882. Paper dial ring is not Ansonia but an"S" or Swigart reproduction that all the EBay sellers call a Seth Thomas dial. Correct back cover and pendulum. It also has an origional key with both winding and pendulum adjustment. The case has"crazing" consistent with the 109 years of age. SETH THOMAS ABBEY INLAID– 1921 Today I am proud to offer is this beautiful Seth Thomas Abbey Inlaid produced in the year of 1921. In the book. The only reference is the Abbey Plain and the Abbey Bracket(on shelf) This clock is not referenced as an Abbey Inlaid but the label on the bottom(not common) states it is an Abbey Inlaid. The bell metal gong has a beautiful tone that is pleasing to the ear. A“Broken Arch” Old English cabinet with inlaid design and quarter-round columns on the left and right front side of the clock. A nice step up molding design that runs front to back along the sides of the 9 and 3. The Mahogany case has a small piece missing off the top front arch that can hardly be noticed but worth mentioning and the original finish has a nice crazing which can be seen in the pictures as well. The finish is original and has not ... morebeen altered. This model is featured in several areas of the 2005 Seth Thomas books and has a 2005 value of up to $800.00. The original 4 inch porcelain dial is in excellent condition with repair done around the winding arbors when I purchased the clock. The painted black Arabic numbers with red quarter hour numbers in the chapter ring and the arrow shaped hour and minute hands give this clock a classy look allowing the numbers or time to be read easily from a distance. The convex beveled glass has no chips but a few scratches in it. The machined clasp brass bezel has been cleaned without harsh chemicals so as not to ruin the antique brass finish. Both the front and the back doors open and close properly as they should. The back door has a brass knob instead of wood. The original bob and a proper size ST stamped 2-sided key comes with the clock. This clock features a half-hour strike rebuilt 15-day fine round movement No. 51 that is really quiet and built to be accurate over a two week span between windings.
