The case of this regal cloisonne vintage 8-day Chinese mantle clock has hinged front and rear beveled glass doors that are framed in brass and are accompanied by fourteen porcelain pillars which are highly decorated in vibrant colors. The case is gilt brass with mounted finials to the upper with a raised urn on a decorative base consisting of six gilt brass on porcelain decorated feet. The white porcelain face has a matching decoration with large Roman numerals indicating hours and smaller Arabic numerals indicating minutes with Decorative hands. The pendulum consists of Gilt brass going barrels and anchor escapement with a white porcelain finish and is decorated with a portrait of a European lady. My dad made a really cool stand for it so that it could be used as a mantel clock or a wall clock. It's a really cool stand. As you can see by the pictures the clock is in very good shape. The paper label on the back shows years of wear on the edges but is still somewhat legible. The key is also included. This is a beautiful clock that would be a great addition to your clock collection. The face is crisp and clear and has silver hands. It shows the numbers on the back of the clock that are 7310 in black print and 2697 imprinted in the porcelain. A very nice clock for sure! There is a service receipt that shows some work(oiling? that has been done on the clock. I did get the clock to run but I am not sure about ... morethe accuracy of time or the longevity of it working. I just did a test so I am stating that I am not sure if the clock works or not. CHIME CLOCK No. 73– 1921 For offer is this beautiful Seth Thomas Chime Clock No. 73 produced in the year of 1921 which is a chime clock that is truly hard to find. A feature that is not found often is the look of the fancy pierced dial. A common fancy pierced dial is one that has a polished brass background with a fancy pierced pattern on top of it. This dial is carved from a solid polished piece of brass. The case of this Chime Clock No. 73 is made of solid and ribbon mahogany. The case has been cleaned with mild clock cleaner and hand waxed to bring out the original mahogany patina that has a nice alligator look in the finish. The case has a few character marks on the back door that should be seen in the pictures. I love the lines on this old beauty. It has an old English design of two carved pillars and a broken arched top. The moldings ... morearound the base area are amazing and the grille work on the sides is fancy and detailed. Even the material in the grille is original and intact to let out the beautiful Westminster chimes. This is very large. Heavy clock that has many great features, comes with its original pendulum and proper sized one-sided key that will make a great conversation piece between your family, friends and guests. Everything about this clock is big and all original. The only thing not original are the bronze bushings in the movement and the winding key. The original wavy glass is incased by a mahogany arched frame door. The elegant design of the fancy pierced dial is the focal point of the old English design case. You can actually see yourself in the polished brass background. This model is equipped with a chime lock to prevent the chimes from rattling during transportation. The back door opens and closes properly as it should. Incredibly nice find here! Black Slate Mantel Clock. Made by Jennings Brothers. Stamped JB on the inner ring of the inside of the movement. Handwritten on the inside of the back door. Order July 1872. Cannot read the name. Movement says 4 11 on it. Clock has a very rare open escapement movement. Time and chiming work great. Very nice etched detail on the front of this slate clock. Case is in overall great condition. No sizeable chips/scratches/cracks. Very rare for a clock of this age! Comes with original pendulum. Key included. Not original. On the face it says. A. J. Robinson, Providence RI. I cannot find any other examples of this. Believe to have belonged to, or been some sort of high end advertising for the A.J. Robinson jewelry company! Up For auction is a beautiful Antique Ingraham 4 column White mantle clock with victorian style side arms on each side that accent the front ornate floral feet that support the clock. On each side of the bezel adorns two faux marble columns held by ornate column holders. The case has a beautiful presentation. White finish with the upper and lower column area, having a pink, white faux marble finish. Surrounding the bezel and face of the clock there is decorative gold etching's. The brass bezel door opens and closes fine over the paper arabic dial. I wound the clock and it is running. c.1775-1810 French Mantel Clock Keys .....Three Sizes
18th century Clock Keys These three keys were used to wind up the French made mantel clocks that saw more popularity with Americans than English or American made clocks. After George Washington died in 1799. The French made clocks with a figure of Washington along with popular phrases like: Washington, First in War, First in Peace" In His Countrymen's Hearts" E Pluribus Unum" etc. There is three different size square ends measuring roughly 4mm. 3.5mm and 2mm so a good selection that would fit a good selection of various mantel clocks including some American made examples that saw use during the 1775-1810 era. Crudely made with obvious signs of being hand made and finished with a hand file. 18th. century clock keys are very difficult to find.these were recently found amongst a large collection(over 1,000) of 18th-19th century ... morekeys of which only these three keys were found showing their rarity. A vintage Westclox wall or mantel electric clock. It is a SPIRIT OF 76 model 26155 and is in nice working condition. It is a chime and it is a low key sounding chime on the half and full hour. It keeps very nice time. It measures 10" tall x 7" wide. It looks like it is missing a ring or knob at the top of the peak as there is a hole there with nothing on it. Never had it while I had it.
