On the rim of the one of the fitters it shows the patent date of"Pat'd.Dec896, Sept2996" The twist knob says"P& S" on the fixture it's also engraved"Weber Patents" They are in excellent working condition. The wire is newer. Upon looking at them. I'm not sure how you would mount them as there's no hardware and I don't see how you would fit it to the wall(even with the bar that's on it) I will leave it up to the new owner to determine. I figured you could drill holes into the canopy and mount it to the wall. The brass is VERY delicate ... moreand it shows it's age very much. There are some dents in it etc.which are hard to see in photos. The pictures show the cosmetic condition a little better than they actually are.The glass shades for the large fitter seem to be heavy for this lightweight of a fixture. You could replace them with something lighter or maybe more of that period. Also, one of the screws appears to be newer. The large fitter is 4 1/8" the small fitter is 2 1/4" The diameter of the canopy is 4" All of the glass shades are free of chips or cracks but do show some wear. You are buying a great pair of Mid Century Slip Shade wall Lights. They are made by the Homart company. They are each 10 inches tall by 5 inches wide. When mounted they are 4 inches from the wall to the outside of the glass. The brass wall plate has been painted pink and they did get dome paint on the outside of the shade(not inside on paint) There is a couple of scratches on the reverse painted shade. Beautiful pair of art deco electric wall sconces. 4.5" at widest point x 9" not including the bulb. They are in very good age appropriate condition with very little paint loss. The colors are gold red green and copper and are not repainted. They look better in person. They are a matched pair except for the switch knobs one is plastic the switch has been changed some time ago. The original is brass. The socket covers have lost some of the drip effect. That goes to the back) It would be better to rewire. One has cloth wiring yet. The bulbs go with them(Still work)new ones similar can still be purchased. These are 8ft fluorescent commercial grade gro lite or regular light fixtures. There are 2 units here. I did power up one unit and 6 of 8 bulbs did lite. Each ballast operates 2 tubes so I would guess a ballast is needed( available at Home Depot/ Lowes) The photo shows one fixture with all tubes. I think they are all gro tubes, The 2nd fixture is the same but I have never powered it up. There are no bulbs in this one so I am not sure of it's working condition. To service the inside of the enclosure you would have to drill out the 1/8 rivets and replace with screws. They are made of galv. sheet metal but do show some rust so they could use some paint. These are listed as one, so both must go together. These items are pick up only, in the Dover/ Sparta N.J. area. Thanks

Vintage Hanging Chandelier 5 Light Victorian cast metal arms and fixtures deco
Up for auction is this Vintage Hanging Chandelier 5 Light Victorian with cast metal arms and frame. Look at all the pictures as they describe it better than I can. The bulbs were removed and four out of the five still work. I have no way of testing the fixture itself. it has the old wiring all the way up through the ceiling hanger. One lot of Two HUGE Reverse painted puffy glass shades for light fixtures!!
Up for bid is one lot of two HUGE reverse painted. Puffy, translucent glass shades that appear to be from the first half of the 1900's! These shades are 9 inches tall, have an inside diameter of 14 inches at the widest point, a small opening of 1 5/8 inches inside diameter and the large opening of 11 1/4 inches inside diameter. Each unit has two"v" cuts out of the glass that are 2 inches deep and 5 inches wide. The glass is 3/16 to 1/4 inches thick. No visible cracks or serious chips. We do not want to say they are perfect as they do show some wear from use and age. We could not find a makers mark or an artists mark on these globes. We are not sure of the age of the items or the origin. We are not sure if the units are intended for a floor lamp type of fixture or designed to be in a ceiling fixture.
