It looks like the person before me was trying to clean them up, one is in its totally original state, the other has been lightly cleaned, the most obvious evidence of this is in the fourth photo, they really shined up that part, then got some white paint on it, this is the only area of any sort of issue, I think the paint can be removed easily enough- The metal is a silver pewter sort of color. With lightly painted details- The light bulbs would hand on the underside. This needs to be re-wired, I have photographed the original cloth covered wires- The part where you screw in the light bulbs looks really good. Copper parts and it looks like maybe these have been replaced, but not sure they look really clean inside- you will need 2 screws to re-connect the part where it attaches to the ceiling on one of them- each chandelier measures 17" across. 22" hanging- PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS FOR CONDITION. Brass cutoff valves are all in working order(opening& closing) and are soldered onto gas supply tubing. Connecting end to main gas supply line from house has a female threaded coupler. All three pieces have different gas injector nozzles as seen in attached pictures but cutoff nozzles are all the same. It appears as if someone added newer holding fixtures for the globes at some point. Otherwise all pieces appear to be original to time period. These are two vintage wrought iron wall sconces taken from by family home. they were installed in the dining room when the house was built in 1929. The dining room table. Chairs and matching sideboard came from Spain. There are no markings on these fixtures to indicate who manufactured them or where they were made. They have been pinted with a black semi gloss paint. They use a bulb that looks like a flame. not included) They were working when I took them from the house. The hanging shades at the top are removable. The cardboard"candles" have been painted white and one is upside down to hide a worn edge. The wiring is made of woven cloth. 4 Art Deco Ceiling Light Fixtures Machine Age Brushed Finish Milk Glass Shades
This is a set of 4 vintage. Art deco, commercial ceiling light fixtures. They don't show any maker's mark. They are made of a brushed housing and thick milk glass shades, and have heavy duty porcelain sockets(for the larger Mogul base bulbs) Four brand new porcelain adapters are included so you can use standard base light bulbs. The fixtures are just as they were when removed from a retail store decades ago, no restoration has been done. The 16" diameter milk glass shades are in excellent condition. The brushed metal finish has a patina of age, but is very good overall. They can probably be brushed up if you want them to look fresher. The wiring was cut too short when they were taken down, so they'll need to be re-wired when you install them(the old wire is pretty dry, anyway) They hang down 36" from the ceiling to the ... moretip on their original pendants, and have a 4 3/4" diameter supply cover at top. The shades hang from the housing by 3 brass chains, all 12 are included. The age of these lights is 60 to 75 years. They are in great shape, but I'm offering no guarantees with them. Set of 3 gorgeous. Ornate, antique Cast Metal 2 Light Chandeliers. These are matched set and come to you directly from my home, which was built in 1920. My understanding is that these fixtures are original to the home. We have had them in use for the 13 years we have lived here and they have always worked wonderfully for us. We have always used either 60 or 75 watt bulbs in them. I love them, but my wife is ready for a change, so we are updating. Only two of the fixtures are pictured, as the third has already been taken down. Wonderfully ornate design with nice original paint. Overall very good vintage condition. May need to be cleaned up a bit. High dusting is not a priority for us. May have some stray paint on the sides of the top of the ceiling cap, as is common with these old fixtures. These fixtures measure 31 1/2" from the top ... moreof the ceiling cap to the bottom of the finial. They are 12" wide. Please note that I am not including any bulbs or shades. You are bidding only on the light fixtures. I have already taken one of the three of these fixtures down and will be taking the two you see in the photos down this weekend. The one not shown was working every bit as well as the other two when I took it down and is in similar condition. PLEASE NOTE: I had to cut the wiring on the one I took down to get it down and may very well have to do the some with the other two. The lamp shades are made of thick heavy glass(5/8" thick) It has both frosted and clear finish. They have a unique stepped cone design. That is modern. Yet reminiscent of Art Deco style. Antique Victorian or Art Deco Light Fixtures - Chandeliers and Sconces W/ Shades
This is an extremely rare find- a complete set of matching early 1900s light fixtures in amazing condition with ALL of the glass shades and NO chips in any of them! The lights could be considered Art Deco or Victorian or would even work in an Art Nouveau interior. I believe they are early 1900s- possibly 1910 or so. There are 2 chandeliers and 2 sconces. The chandeliers are about 18" high and wide. The sconces are about 8" high. They are very heavy. The chandeliers weigh about 20 pounds each. They are in beautiful condition. One of the chandeliers has very minor surface rust that I'm sure could be polished off pretty easily. The other fixtures have no rush whatsoever. They have not been rewired.
