Up for bids here is an amazing vintage WWII Estey Pump Organ. It is very. Very rare to find one in original condition. It still has the original olive drab green covering. A lot of the organs I have seen were used after the war and players would refinish them. This one looks to have not been used in 50 years, although it is functional. It still has its original Army markings. For the past few years it has been on loan to the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. Everything is in new. Unused condition and this sale includes all 100 discs with labels, dividers and keys to lock the case. The keys and dividers are still sealed in original plastic and none of the labels have been peeled. There is a rather pronounced scratch across the top of the case but it is only surface and doesn't go all the way through. Condition is vintage new with a shopworn case. All items I sell come from the secondary market(auctions. Flea markets, yard sales) Occasionally I'll find something in new condition, but most antique or collectable items will have normal expected wear for their age. My home is smoke-free and I try not to get smokey items by using the"sniff test" I wash, steam clean, clean with alcohol or a disinfecting wipe and spray with Lysol depending on which method suits the item best, because ... moreI don't want to catch the flu any more than you do. Lot/2 Small SCRIMSHAW PENDANTS: WALRUS Is SIGNED, & RACOON? From Piano Keys, New
These are 2 small Scrimshaw pendants that were probably made from antique piano keys because their shape and depth is about right. Old piano keys were made of I_ but if I write the word. EBay will pull this auction! Since the piano keys are old, these are legally made. Each one has a paper with info about the origin of Scrimshaw, how it is made a cleaning instructions. One of these is a walrus head with tusks and that one is signed HK. It measures about 5/8" long and 1/2" wide with a depth of 1/8" The other looks like it might be a racoon. That one is unsigned and measures about 1/2" by 3/8" with the same depth as the other. I doubt that these have ever been on a chain so they are new except for the piano keys they were made from. Rare 1876 Locks For Trunks Keys US Patent Office By Inventor-Campbellsville, KY
This a rare item. 1 Key as part of a US Patent submission for Locks For Trunks, patent 185,781 issued December 26, 1876. This US Patent was submitted by Isaac Ramsey of Campbellesville, Kentucky. Unfortunately, the lock mechanism is long lost but the original key remains attached to the original tags. Please note, in reviewing the attached US Patent description surrounding this submission, it appears only the one double edged key pertains to this Patent. The other, larger key was found attached to the tags so I am keeping them together. I would assume the other key probably goes to some type of early trunk? The tags are in good condition but show some wear and soiling. Beautiful vintage large double-sided tremolo"KOCHAMICA" harmonica by ANDS. KOCH from the 1930's in the keys of C& G. Nice shine to the covers and excellent detail on the scrolled painted ends on each side. The white script paint on rosewood frame is gorgeous. 64 notes! This harmonica measures seven inches by two inches by 7/8 inch deep. The only real flaw. Aside from minor tarnishing on the metal case, is the loss of part of the first mouth hole on the"C" side.
