Solid cast iron door stop 5.5"high by 7.5"wide. It weighs about 3 1/2 lbs. The door stop is a cute country cottage that has a green roof with a dormer and small picket fence on either side. It has original paint but very faded. There are no numbers or other markings on the back.

ANTIQUE CAST IRON PULLEY BLOCK & TACKLE 25' ROPE ~ 1905 PAT FARM FENCE BARN TOOL
Offered is a smaller block& tackle set consisting of two double-sheaved pulleys and about 25 feet of 3/8 inch Manila rope. It doesn't have a maker's mark. But does bear a 1905 patent date. These were commonly used for fencing or other light farm hoisting. The set has a locking mechanism that makes them pretty handy because they will hold tension on a pull. While the patent date doesn't indicate actual age, this is an older tool, likely dating to the early 20th century. The pulleys are cast iron with steel pins and sheaves. The whole works weighs nearly 4 pounds. Everything works just as it should. Gently cleaned and waxed. It has a warm dark patina. The rope is in pretty good shape with good spring and no bad spots.
