1880's Victorian Ebonized Eastlake DOUBLE Picture Frame Orig Matting Aesthetic
This item is fresh out of a local basement where it was stored for years! I don't recall seeing one like this before! Overall. The piece is about 12 x 16 and does have some chipping, wear, and touchups to some chipped areas. One of the small brass half metal pieces is missing in the u/r. The piece still displays just well as it is. The decorative picture frames flip up. I'm not sure if there was wire holding them at one time like a magazine rack that would hang on a wall. Authentic Antique Lovely Eastlake Small Wood Hanging Wall Shelf; Super Condition
This is a charming Eastlake hanging wall shelf. Beautiful craftsmanship and detail; can tell by the carefully sculpted edge on top shelf. Great mini size at 9" x 11" tall. It's 4.5" from front to back. All ready to hang on wall. No work needed. Can see it hanging right on my wall from my personal collection. I have a small English clock I used it for but could use for anything. Goes great with a grouping of pictures; will fit anywhere. The top is ash, can tell by the graining; unsure of other woods. Has two little original brass inset pieces to hang from. Back has vestiges of white paint but no front evidence of it every having been painted. I believe it to be American from the Aesthetic Period; wood has a lot of golden tones. No flaws that I see and have owned for 20+ years.

Vintage Cast Iron Eastlake Victorian Wall Sconce Electric Lamp w 3" Shade Fitter
For your consideration is a vintage cast iron Eastlake style electrified wall sconce with 3 inch diameter shade/globe holder/fitter. This is a very nice quality fixture. Please note however. That THE MOUNTING BRACKET IS MISSING. The round part that would insert into the bracket is 5/16 to 3/8 inches in diameter. The socket is good quality. It turns smoothly and works well. It has a very nice brass key. The screws which secure the shade are also brass. The cord is good. This fixture does not have any makers mark or indication where it was made(other than casting numbers'2' and'3' I think it was originally made as an electric lamp but I suppose it's possible(but unlikely) that the electrics were added later. Up for auction is a lovely antique gilded molded gesso Eastlake frame. American, dated to the early 1900s. The condition of this antique frame is very good. It's completely original with no restoration that I can find. There are a few nicks. But you really have to look for them. It's covered with a lovely rich, burnished gold. See the pictures for the condition. It has classical carving around the outside edge with American cove and beaded design on the inside of the frame. It's composition on a wooden frame. This striking antique American rocking chair is well over 100 years old. It is an original Eastlake chair. Although Eastlake furniture is considered to be of the Victorian era. It is distinct in this genre for its very clean, simple lines. Peruse the internet and you'll find that the walnut wood on this rocking chair is not as prolific as the light wood is for Eastlake rocking chairs. You can see in the photos that the wood is damaged in places and has been expertly repaired. Dark polish. To my eye, the wood frame as well as the carpet seat and back are all intact. This is an antique chair in the"Eastlake" style. It has been stored in a clean. Non-smoking interior room, in my possession for over 40 years, and for an unknown length of time before. Charles Locke Eastlake was an English designer. Is one of the founders of the Arts and Crafts Movement, and had chairs made from the late 1880's to the early 1890's. He advocated the return to simple design and honest value in furniture, and is considered pre-Victorian or Victorian in this time period. The caning was redone professionally. And is in good shape.
