Antique Ornate Victorian Cast Iron Cabinet Latch, Old Eastlake Cupboard Hardware
Here is an old cast iron cabinet latch with keeper. This antique latch was cast with nice decorative details. It was designed to be attached to the face of the cabinet or cupboard. It is about 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. It is about 1 inch tall at the tip of the knob. This latch has a porcelain knob. The keeper or catch is a close match for the latch but is not a perfect match. The shape of the end of the keeper is close but slightly larger than that of the latch. The keeper has some black paint over the original finish. The latch has its original finish plus some off white paint. The spring inside works so you can pull back the knob. Open the cabinet door, and then the latch will move back when you release the knob.

Antique Ornate Victorian Brass Door Knob Rosette Backplate,Eastlake,old hardware
This is an old door knob backplate or rosette. This pretty piece of antique door hardware is made of cast brass. It has a simple repeating geometric pattern that is very decorative. It is 1 15/16 inches in diameter. There are two countersunk mounting holes. At the bottom or back. The center hole is 7/16 inches in diameter. At the top it is 11/16 inch in diameter. This rosette is lovely but is not flat. You can see this in the last two photos.

OUTSTANDING! ANTIQUE EASTLAKE FRONT ENTRY DOOR BEVELED GLASS PANES WOOD HARDWARE
This is such a gorgeous door. I hate to let it go. I found it in Missouri about 8 years ago after my house burned down. I intended for it to be my new front door, but as I rebuilt the house, my design changed from a slightly Victorian/Farm look to more a Craftsman/Lodge style. No longer did its beauty compliment the style of the emerging home. I often thought I would find a use for it, but so far it's sat upright against a wall in my garage. Time to pass it along. First of all. It's truly stunning with mortise and tenon joinery. It has a beautiful honey color and has worn unusually well for it's age. There are a few divets and scratches, but nothing major or unsightly.only added character. A previous owner has used a brown putty on a few of them, and to be honest, I didn't notice them until taking the pictures to post here. ... moreThe one imperfection that I had taken notice of when I bought it was a crack in one of the glass panes. It's in the corner and measures approximately 1 1/2" It does not appear to compromise the integrity of the glass pane at all and is not distracting to the eye. All the glass panes have a lovely beveled edge and add charm to an already enchanting door. The bottom front panels have the usual trademark Eastlake designs and also the wonderfully decorative Eastlake hardware including the front and back plate and the inner locking/latch piece. There is no knob. I have no idea, if once complete that the internal hardware will operate properly or not. Although, you shouldn't have much of a problem finding something else, including knobs.they are all over E-bay! I do have cast iron Eastlake style hinges(a set of three) that I will include. The hinge side of the door has several holes where previous hinges had attached. These can be filled and when I place the hinges up to them there are several holes that hit virgin wood and should grab nicely. Lot of 3 Victorian Brass Gilt Eastlake Drawer Pull Furniture Dresser Hardware
Here for your consideration are some incomplete parts of old Eastlake furniture drawer pulls. One is complete with the all the harware. The other two are missing the drop pull and one is missing the pin for the drop. The back plate on these measures almost 3.5" long with the measurements betwwen the holes being 1.5" The plate is 1 3/4" tall. These are a gold gilt brass that has and oldd patina and left unpolished as found.

Antique Vintage Cast Iron Porcelain Eastlake Cabinet Door Latch Handle Hardware
For your consideration is a Vintage ornate cast iron Eastlake Victorian style cupboard spring load door latch with porcelain knob. The door latch and the keeper do not match but not real noticeable unless you look closely. Door latch is 2" long x 1-1/2" wide x 1-1/4" high to the top of the porcelain knob. Keeper is 1" long and 1-1/2" wide and has some light rust. Spring in door latch is in nice working condition. Both pieces are untouched. So shows their original patina and character. Porcelain knob could use a cleaning. My uncle's career was repairing/refinishing/repurposing furniture for antique dealers.these items are from his estate. Eastlake Ornate Brass and Iron Rim Lock Door Hardware, PYE , 1869
Eastlake Style Door Hardware. Ornate Brass and Iron. Marked PYE Co. Patent March 30. 1869. This has knobs, back plate for door, but unfortunately no keeper. The switch lock functions and the knobs turned easily when it was put together. I think the knobs are pottery as they are not magnetic. They have some grooves and flaws in the manufacturing of them. The Rim lock is 3 3/8 inches wide, 4 5/8 high and 13/16 deep on the latch side, 5/8 inches on the other. The latch side phlanges out. This does have areas of paint and maybe some varnish on it. The back plate for the door has been painted brown. It is 2 1/8 inches square. Unfortunately there is not a key for it or the keeper. I believe that a keeper could be found here on Ebay.

Antique Victorian Eastlake doorknob keyhole cover ornate art repurpose hardware
I have a nice Victorian period lot of 4 old pressed steel doorknob keyhole cover backplates for your consideration. These are pressed steel manufacture and are of an ornate geometric patterning with most of the original copper Japanning worn away from years of use. Some small amounts of plating still evident. There were layers of old paint removed from these and could use a final minor cleaning of residual paint. There are two matching sets. One of the plates has a broken collar for the doorknob although. For repurpose, will add to its character in my opinion. Nice lot of old covers for the creative art repurpose mind. Free ship to the lower 48 United States. I have a fabulous rare lot of old Eastlake period door hardware for your consideration dating to the 1880's. These are direct drive from doorknob to latch drive. No drive rod. Doorknobs simply snap into lockbox by depressing latch armature and sliding neck collar end into place. This is high quality cast bras or bronze manufacture made by Niles manufacturing Co. of Chicago. Solid cast backplates have a beautiful ornate geometric floral patterning on them consistent with their age. Large bulbous doorknobs look that they might have had an unusual original pattern mimicking a wood grain? Lock face plates have similar patterns. There are two sizes of mortise locks. The larger has a face plate size of 1 1/16 x 6 3/8 and the smaller has a face plate size of 15/16 x 5 5/8 and both have a face plate thickness of 3/16 of an inch. Both mortise ... morelocks appear to have a standard 2 3/8 inch offset. Face of mortise lock to center of key barrel. I do not have any keys that fit so you will have to find one or have one made for these. Subsequently I was not able to test the deadbolt slide. The latches seem to work fine and springs feel good for reuse. Most of the original screws included which are brass or bronze as well. Sorry forgot to remove the matching strikes.You will have to find some that will work with this configuration. This is a nice hard to find lot of old door hardware for your renovation or repair or for the vintage hardware reseller. I have a nice set of late 1800's cast brass ice box hardware for your consideration. These have a date that looks like 1897. The latch handle are right and marked as such. Included is a catch that looks to be original but I am not sure. The hinges and catch have the same 3/8 offset and the hinges are marked 3?8 on their backs. Handle operates latch to lift for disengagement although I am also not sure if this had a spring at some point. Works nicely with gravity without one. Awesome shabby patina with real wainscot on the back. Cast iron, Eastlake pull handles. 3 drawer sizes that do not stick. 4-large, 2-medium, 4-small. Top looks like walnut, but not certain. Antique Wood Brass Teardrop Drawer Pull Vintage Hardware Victorian/EastLake?
This is an antique. Possibly East Lake or Victorian drawer pull or knob for a small door. It is authentic and is not a reproduction. The knob itself is painted wood and pivots about 110 degrees. The collar is brass and the square bolt on the end is not seized. There doesn't appear to be any rust. But it could use some polishing. There is a tiny crack in the wooden teardrop at the base and the base is also just slightly offset with the brass connection. When straightened it measures 3.5" long(NOT including the threaded bolt on the back) The widest point on the teardrop measures 1" wide. An antique Victorian Eastlake brass/bronze door knob back plate made by F.C. Linde Co. circa 1885. The condition is as found with a nice gray-green patinated surface. there is paint residue on lower left side near keyhole. Plate measures 5 1/4 inches long by 1 11/16 inches wide.
