The large doorplate measures 7 5/8" x 1 3/4" The bronze plate on the lockset measures about 6 3/4" x1" The mechanism works. The backplate measures 2 1/4" in diameter. A really beautiful set. They may be Eastlake but I am not that knowledgeable about these things. On the reverse side there is a marking on the longer one is 336, on the short, wider one it is marked TOP Thin and 334 1/2. Onw measures 5" x 2" and the other one 2 1/2" x 4" I do not have a match for either one of these.

Antique Solid Brass mortise lock box FC Linde Co. Cresskill eastlake hardware
For sale is a great antique mortise lock with the Linde flower pattern. Also is a matching original strike plate. Which is super hard to find! I would guess these are both about 135 years old. This set is ready to install as a left or right handed door and even the strike plate has a pattern on both sides so it is reversible. The set is ready to go and in very respectable shape. The strike plate has great detail and is mostly straight not bent much. The lock box is very nice with some slight waves in the brass and one spot near the lock rectangular piece but not bad. A couple minor chips out of the piece where you square door handle rod goes through. In the lockbox itself one peg is broken. Which means that you cannot use a key to it but I do not have the key anyhow. So just very minor flaws and none that affect its functionality or aesthetic ... morebeauty of an antique. Would be great in your home. The price I have it at is the price of what the original strike plate is worth as they are so hard to find.

They had been stored in an attic since the 1950s and condition is excellent. They are intended for interior use and allow for being mounted to the inside sash of large windows. There are three sets. Each with one louvered panel and one solid panel. They are very well made with all mortise and tenon joints and working louvered mechanisms. The hardware is Eastlake style and made from solid brass. I believe the wood is mahogany and each is solid. Condition: Excellent. Old varnish. Some sides are a bit darker, all show normal amounts of wear from use. 3 pc Vintage Door Hardware - Eastlake-Style Plate/Slide Latch/Spring Latch
I am offering three pieces of vintage door hardware. These pieces have not been cleaned. One piece is a small slide lock without the piece that would be attached to the door frame. The spring latch is decorated metal that at some time was painted a pale green. The paint has not been removed for fear of damaging the piece. I will leave that to the experts. The spring latch works but could probably use a little graphite. Again. The piece that would go on the door frame is not included. The third piece is a metal door plate in the East Lake style, with two keyholes and a slide to cover one or the other of the holes. The piece looks dark but a scratch that was on the piece when discovered shows a shine. Use the zoom function and see what you think.

I have a lot of old patterned ornate door hardware for your consideration. Rarer hard to find iron design knobs utilize a flat drive rod as opposed to the standard square drive. It is hard to tell if the patterns match due to the amount of old residue. Paint and finish on the hinges. Hinges seem to work although there is quite a bit of wear to the hinge pin catch and subsequently there is a little play before engagement. Some might be able to spot weld a point to fill catch wear. Might work as is depending on your application although one could cut and drill out the existing ball pin and replace it if they wanted. These are in as found condition so, could use a good cleaning before display or reuse. Nice pair of unusual early iron knobs for any ones collection as well. I have a nice old ornate thumb latch mortise lock for your consideration. Ornate floral geometric patterning consistent with its 145 year old age. Nice large chunky brass slide bolt. Lock face measures 4 9/16 x 1 1/8 x 1/8 inch thick. Depth of mortise cut from face plate to end of box(including 1/8 thick face plate) is 2 5/8. deep. Height for cut is 2 13/16 x 11/16 inches. Mortise will be slightly larger than box. Upon inspection looks all intact although there is some minor wear to the internal mechanism for disengagement of latch slide. 1/16- 1/8 inch) Works although it is slightly short of full recess. It looks that it could be repeened carefully for 100% functionality. Will work as is though. Nice old hard to find lock for your authentic vintage renovation or repair. This is a VERY ORNATE set of heavy VTG brass door hardware with knobs. Mortise lockset, back plates, hinges and strike plates. I have 8 complete matching sets. If you want more than 1 set just msg. me and we'll set something up. These are cleaned complete matching sets. It's rare to find ornate hinges and strike plates with these sets. I also have most of the original hinge and lock-set screws I will ship with hardware until I run out. They show very little wear and are 100(+) years old. Here is a gorgeous set of 4(8 total pieces) Victorian window sash locks. They are signed Payson Mfg Co. and have a patent date of 1876 on them. I'm not good with metals. They are maybe copper? or bronze? They do not stick to the magnet! These are fresh out of an old home and are untouched by us. There are remnants of old paint and they have a wonderful patina. You can clean them up and bring them back to original glory or use them as is. Unlike others I saw available. These have a nice spring loaded locking mechanism. All four lock releases work great and could be used as are they are. These also feature beautiful geometric designs unlike any others that I was able to find. 3 Pair Victorian Eastlake Bronze Steeple Top Door Hinges & Door Hardware
This hardware is absolutely beautiful! I can't say enough about how striking this would look in any home. Old or new! You are bidding on 3 pair of heavy bronze Victorian period 5" Steeple Top Door Hinges(6 hinges in total) 3 matching Bronze Door Knob Escutcheons or Plates, and 3 matching Bronze Lock Escutcheons with Swinging Covers. All pieces are ornamentally cast, and are just impeccable. The steeple design hinges are 5" measuring 5" in width and length. The overall length from the tip of top to the tip of the bottom steeple is 8 1/4" The 40 brass wood screws which came with this hardware goes with the lot. Each hinge is stamped on the reverse side with the size(5 x 5) and the Jan 18. 1870 patent date. The back side of the hinges also have a floral design in the casting, which is indicative of the highest quality ... morehardware manufactured during that period. This hardware was salvaged from a old local estate. And each piece is in great condition. Some pieces need a little cleaning, but there is no damage to any of them. The steeple on the hinges incorporate an ornately cast floral design which finish with an acorn finial on the top and bottom. All are fine- no damaged or flattened tips, no breaks or cracks, no marred or scarred surfaces. The door knob escutcheon plates are in great condition with finely crafted details. All are flat. And again no breaks, cracks, etc. The lock escutcheons are equally fine. The covers swing freely. And they show very minimal signs of use. If you're looking for historic hardware for renovation of an old home. Or if you're incorporating the quality and beauty of antique hardware in a new construction project, you'll not be dissatisfied.
