This is a rusty. But beautiful set(two) of Rose corbels. An old design. Detailed, delicate roses with buds and vines. This iron is heavy duty cast iron, designed to be welded into gates and fences. There are no holes drilled, however, they can be drilled for use indoor and out. Will last a lifetime. They are about 40 lbs. The size is 16 1/2" X 16 1/2" EACH. An original pair of Victorian cast iron gothic shelf brackets with marked with No5 8.10 and also faintly incised 24/11. Each bracket measures 25cm high by 20cm deep. Each is nicely cast in iron with gothic design. There are holes for screws to secure brackets and shelf to the wall. Found in original condition with some pitting and rusting. Simply waxed they retain a nice finish and have not been over restored to look new. No breaks or restoration. A useful pair.

I am really not sure what to call these. They might be large shelving brackets but I think they went in the corners of a large door or entry way. This auction is for the pair of them. Each one measures 21 inches by 21 inches by 31 inches across. One of them is in perfect shape the other has two cracks in the ornate section however is still solid. I thought about welding those two parts but thought I would leave it to the next owner. I was going to put them in the corners of a door way but they were just to large for that entry. First off I am not sure if these are cast iron or steel. The wall brackets measure app. 4 inches tall. 3 1/2 inches front to back, and 1 3/4 inches wide. This is an exceptionally fine pair of iron or steel sink brackets. The nicest I have seen. They are finely made with art deco or nouveau styling measuring 8"x16" they have mounting holes on one side. One bracket has had the paint removed but the fine detailing has been preserved. The small mounting studs along the edge were removed as well.
