Radius large tripod stove - Swedish made - Nickle plated - Cast iron grate
A large Radius tripod stove made in Sweden. Probably in the late 50's or early 60's. The stove is in good solid condition, but has not been tested. Over the years, It has had several solder repairs to the fuel fount as shown in the pictures, and the manufacturer's stamped logos are difficult to see through the heavy nickle plating. The stove stands about 12" tall, with an 11" diameter heavy cast iron(Optimus? grate. The burner is a Primus part. An intersting and unusual vintage camp stove for your collection. Group of 3 Antique Cast Iron Wood Coal Stove Lid Lifters, Grate Shakers, Etc.
A group of three antique cast iron stove parts. I am unsure of the exact function of each. They could be lid lifters. Grate shakers, or something else, but they are all stove related. The first piece measures about 8-1/4" long and is marked"140" on the top of the handle. There are some casting marks on the underside of the handle as well. But they are difficult to read. The second piece m easures about 8" long. Has a casting mark on the underside of"B63" and is nickel plated. The third piece m easures about 11-1/2" long and has no casting marks or other identifiers. And is also nickel plated. The parts are used. But in good condition. The plated items do show some plating wear and minor rusting. The pictures show the condition of the items. This is a nice old group of 4 cast iron wood or coal burner grates. They are 3 3/4" tall. The back is 2" wide, front is 1 1/2" wide at the top and about 1 1/4" wide at the bottom. Several of these form a circle in the burner area, they are in great shape, no chips or cracks. This looks good. Items as pictured. I have other vintage items. Will take best offers. Up for auction is for an antique arched/dome cast iron wall heat register. From bottom to the top of the arch it is 15 3/4" and it is 12 inches wide. It has no cracks or breaks but because this is cast iron there are places where it did not cast perfectly but they are not noticeable except by close inspection. I think this would be perfect hanging on the wall above a door or window. The finish on this is not paint. It is a baked on finish I use on my cast iron pieces that makes the piece rust resistant as well as beautiful. This is not a spray painted piece. The way the light bounces off this piece is incredible. Measures 26 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches. The diameter of the center circle is 2 1/4 inches. For Sale is I guess a stove grate shaker and/or lifter handle. Used for coal or wood stove. The handle looks to be a shaker and/or lifter handle and in good condition. Seems to be a pretty good size handle compared to many of them. The handle on the front side says"DRAW THE GRATE SLIDE OUT WHILE SHAKING THE GRATE" and the backside has the word"OAK" and in another place it has the word"NEUTIPE" or something very similar. The handle looks to have been chrome plated or something similar when it was made. Also it seems as if over time a little of the plating has came off in a couple very small areas and a little of rust has came through and it also looks as if someone in the past has put a clear coat over the entire handle to preserve it. No rust. Louvers work smoothly. The grate is 13 3/4" long by9 1/2" wide. The part that fits into the floor is 10 1/2" long by 7 1/2" wide. It is 2" tall. This is for an Antique Reclaimed Architectural Cast Iron Heating Register. Grate, Vent with a Steel Rim and Back with Working Mechanism to Open and Close. You could either use this to rehab an older home or you could take the grate out of the frame easily and use it by itself. Architectural Heat vent Grate register cast iron~ Arch I’m back again to offer out more of my huge collection of antique/vintage vents Maybe this is the one you’ve been looking for if you are in the process of rehabbing that beautiful old home. All back to its original style. Outside measurements are approx. 10” inches wide by approx. 14" in length. The inside box which is to be inserted into the wall measures approx. 8” inches wide by approx. 12" in length. Louvers work fine. When fully opened this measures approx. 4" in depth.This is very dirty. Does show rust and old paint, will need to be cleaned up. From what I can see there are no cracks.This is being sold AS-IS. Antique Large Industrial Cast Iron Grate 33 1/2" by 33 1/2"
Large and in charge cast iron grate some folks use them for patio tables some folks use them for wall hangings I just find the diamonds in the rough and let the buyers transform them into the true gems they are. This one is two piece overall it's 33 1/2" by 33 1/2" with the center section 23 1/4" wide. Made of cast iron there are no broken pieces and just needs wire brushed or sand blasted and repainted. It's monster heavy and you could install it on a second floor and drop red hots down on the peoples heads below one of my kid tricks on the 3rd floor of JC Pennys in 1958 if you desire.
