Antique Primitive Barn Door Rollers on Piece of Barn Wood ~ Unique
I am selling an old antique barn door roller attached to an old piece of barn wood. The markings on the door roller say"Myers Stayon" adjustable. Ashland O.U.S.A. Pat'd Feb 26 07" The numbers 2969 and `1688 are also embossed on the cast iron material. HEAVY. I'm assuming the date of manufacture is 1907. Or possibly 1807. I may end up clipping the point of the wood to make it straight across to help it fit into a box and not be so pointy for shipping. Did I mention that this is quite HEAVY. Reclaimed Rollers for Sliding Barn Door Trolleys Repurposed Meat Hook Pulleys
Nicely restored heavy duty. Iron, antique, meat hook pulleys perfectly suited for repurposed barn door trolleys. They have been well oiled and cleaned/refurbished. Nearly matching. Though one strap is slightly longer than the other which would need an 1/8" shim to even them out for a barn door application. Both are from the Globe Company Chicago ILL. Wheel diameter is 4" Wheel to strap clearance is 5 1/4" Wheel groove is 3/4" wide and depth is about 1/2 inch. Measurements are approximate but close. The track pictured is not included but is featured for sale in one of my other listings with a set of suitable trolleys. Here is a good old set of National barn door trolleys- they remain fully functional. Notice that one of the bolts is bent- I really dont see that being a problem. I would have rather used this set on my door.because they are older and better quality than the newer set I got. They go on a sqare track which you can still get at larger hardware stores. Here are two nicely refurbished antique sliding barn door trolleys. Nearly matching in size and style surprisingly different brands- One is a FRANTZ the other is unmarked other than the"Patented DEC? 1915" Wheel diameter(2 3/4 inches) and straps are the same. You should have no problem using them together as they have been paired for nearly 100 years. Overall height is approximately 9" Width is 7 3/4 inches. from outside wheel edge to other wheel edge) Now. These wheels have some wobble but continue to roll- I just wanted to point that out so you aren't alarmed- not broken. Once they are in the track the wobble won't matter because they will be guided- roll smooth otherwise. Up for bid is an antique pair of Myers Barn Door Rollers. Cast in 1888, that serviced a door on a blacksmith forge, on a farm in Central Massachusetts. The forge is now coming down. I don't have the lower brackets that mount on the door. Manufactured in Ashland. Ohio, they have a heavy rusty patina, but the casters still turn easily and freely. The adjustable nuts on the threaded rods turn easily as well. One of the casters has some large chips out of it, look at the pictures) but it still turns and will still glide on the track, should you decide to use them. They are 7" wide and 6" tall. They are in great shape with no cracks or repairs and both rollers turn smoothly. The raised cast lettering is sharp. Clear and easy to read. All the loose rust and old paint was removed leaving behind the beautifully aged cast iron. The hangers are solid all over with no rust through or thin spots. They may look a bit rusty but I ensure you it is only surface rust and they should clean up and paint nicely if you so desire. Personally I like the rustic look. This is a pair of old cast iron barn door rollers made by F.E. Myers of Ashland. Ohio. They are from the late 1800s and carry chippy red paint and rust. The wheels turn well and there is a small chip on one of the wheels of one roller(see photos) but they wored well before they were removed. These are lovely architectural pieces in a rare style. antique red barn door rollers with 8' pc of track
A matching set of National Big 4 barn door rollers. They have no chips or cracks and the wheels turn like new(they are in excellent condition) The wheels are 3 1/2 inches in diameter and are made to run on this piece of 1 1/4" by 3/16" track. This track piece is nice and straight and in excellent condition. The track brackets are 12 to 13 inches apart. Someone painted the old barn years ago and did not slide the door so the track has some unpainted areas on it. I can provide a different red colored length of track if needed. Added note; I am including 6 new bolts and nuts that are a darker bronze color, they are 2 1/2" long. Shipping to lower 48 states only.

A pair of louden roll easy barn door rollers that have no chips or cracks. And the wheels turn freely. The wheels measure 3 1/4" These rollers are in very good condition. They come with four working bolts and square nuts. The track pc is 6' long by 1 1/4" by 3/16" and when up the edge of the track will be out 1 1/2" The track pc is louden brand also. The track pc is as good and straight as they come. I have another matching 6' pc that has the track connector pc on the end of it[$60 more for track and shipping] if someone is interested, also good and straight.
