Pair of Antique Horse Shoe Barn Door Rollers W/ 8ft Track. 1850's Carriage House
Antique? barn door rollers with 8 feet of track. They were taken out of a really neat carriage house built in the 1850's. I have no idea how old these actually are. We removed them by hand. No torching or cutting. All I can say is.it was not easy. =) The carriage house and the original residential house were going to be torn down for a parking lot. The carriage house was so beautiful and just thinking of the history. I hated to see every thing just thrown away. The rollers measure approx. 12 1/4 inches in height. 13 3/4 to the bottom or the rollers. 15 1/2 wide at the bottom. These are the bigger rollers. Eight feet of track. The track and rollers still seem very solid to me. There is surface rust but I couldn't find anything rusting through. The track is a little bumpy. I did clean these as well as I could with a bad wrist. There ... morewas a lot of years worth of dust and grease so believe me when I say. You would not have wanted them as is. After cleaning, I sprayed with some WD40 to prevent rusting so there is still a thin layer of that. If you want to remove it, just use some degreaser. There are probably areas I couldn't clean real well especially around the wheel. So they might need some light cleaning. For the track. You will see four(I don't know what they are called) whatever they are that the track attaches to with a bolt. There is one missing but it did roll perfectly fine when we opened and closed the door. For those who may think only a"Top Rated" Vendor can be trusted to be a good seller. I lost my status because I didn't list/sale enough in a certain amount of time. Frankly I don't think it goes hand in hand but I will have it back when I sell more items in a certain amount of time. They actually told me I got it back but I don't see it so who knows what they are doing. A pair of Louden Roll Easy stable door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 3 1/8" wheels turn freely. These rollers are in excellent working condition. They come with 4 good working bolts and square nuts. This set of rollers came off a racehorse stable door that I could not"save" So I used the parts to fix up the other 5. This set, I think is the"prettiest" partly because a section of the roof gave way in a summer storm and so some doors and hardware were then left exposed to the weather. The 8' pc of Louden track is good and straight with all the wall brackets there and well attached. I cleaned up this hardware, but decided against stripping it or painting it be because I think that their unique" look" kind of tells a story. Offered are these two lanes parlor door hangers. There is still some of the marking still visible on one and I have shown this in the pictures. I don't really know anything about these. They were something I purchased for a barn door and they didn't work on the set-up I already and so I'm moving them along. They are very rust it I believe still very function. The adjustment screws need a little WD 40 but I didn't want to do that before mailing them. They have pat. Dates of 1890 and 1891. Premium Antique Ribbon Barn Door Track and Rollers
I am selling some PREMIUM antique ribbon barn door track and rollers. This track has NEVER been out in the weather. It was inside an old lumber yard. Not many chances to get track and rollers this old that have NEVER seen a drop of rain or a flake of snow. Just because of the age. It has what I would call, light rust on it. You can still see some of the original paint on it. Turn the rollers over and the ORIGINAL red paint is quite visible. No flaking rust, no real need to refinish, outside of some dust, this track could be hung today and you could enjoy the natural patina that comes with 100 years. All the rollers work freely. As a bonus. I also have the original square cut nails that were used to hang the track. I don't have a nail for every hole since there was not a nail in every hole and I did break some taking it down but I can ... moreprovide some original nails. This sale if for one ten foot section of track and 2 Safety Door Hanger Co. rollers plus some cut nails. Pick up here in central Indiana would be preferable but I can ship. I also have some six foot track. If you choose the six foot track. I can box and ship that with no problem. For the ten foot track, I would have to either cut the track in two or down to eight feet to avoid a large shipping bill. I am adding a $15 handling fee to make the transport box. The patent dates are around 1901 and from my knowledge of the old lumber yard. That section they were in was built between 1900 and 1915. So they are close to 100 years old or older. The photos are of the rollers but for the track. It is indicative of the pieces I have but not necessarily the exact piece in this auction.

Hi. This is a very nice set of rustic Maine barn door pulley rollers with no reserve! Each roller was scraped and sanded down and painted a nice black satin finish. They came out nice with some rustic looking pitting on each roller that turn very easily! The big roller has a 7 3/4" wheel with a solid 11" long back bracket with two screw holes. A pair of louden"bird proof" adjustable tandem wheel[2" barn door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the wheels turn freely[like new] They are in excellent working condition. I only have the 2 lower bolts and square nuts to go with this set[to connect the hanger part to the wood door] The 72" track pc has a connected 73 1/2" cover pc that reads LOUDEN in 2" lettering and it is good and straight and it is in very good condition. It does have the original"bird keeper outer pc" bolted in the right hand end. This is the matching set to the set that we sold 2 weeks ago. These have a patent date of June 11th 1912 on the cast iron hanger part. I would have to say that these type rollers and track were the"Cadilac set of the day" rollers. Being that they were very well made plus they were protected ... morefrom the rains. Here are 4 heavy duty. Cast iron, antique, meat hook pulleys perfectly suited for repurposed barn door trolleys. I might even say better suited for indoor applications- less moving parts than traditional antique barn hardware. Sturdy and smooth rolling) Refurbished. Beautiful rustic look, ready to use. The rollers turn freely. These are marked with the letters 501 SCF have four holes in the cast iron wheels. Overall lenght is 11 3/4. Wheel diameter is 4 1/2" very large- way bigger than any trolley wheels you're likely to find. Wheel to strap clearance is 5 1/2" Wheel groove is 5/8" wide and depth is about 1/2 inch. They measure 11" long and 7" tall and the wheel is 1/2" thick. They are designed to screw in to the top of the door and the door is suspended from the roller. A matching pair of Louden Roll Easy barn door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 3 1/4" wheels turn freely. They are in very good working condition. I did have to change out the bearings on both of these and I used an industrial adhesive to reset the axel pin. So I would recommend these to be used on a small to medium sized interior door. The 6 1/2' and the 3 1/2' track pc are good and straight with all of the original wall brackets there and well connected, they were cut from the same 10' pc for economical shipping. I removed this 8 foot barn door track and rollers from a demoed barn about 10 years ago. This barn had 2 doors. I was only able to salvage 1 door from the 2. I am selling the door in another listing. The track and rollers are rusty and will have to have some work to make them more operational or could be used as is. You are geting what is in the pictuers. ATTENTION! Just so there is no misunderstanding as of 3-26-14 I have added 3 pictures. They show a slight bend/kink/defect in the track. It is about 15 inches from the end. I tested the rollers and they row through it fine. If you are using on a smaller door you could cut it off. I have the equipment to cut and if you want it cut down before I ship I would do FREE. BARN DOOR ROLLERS Acquired from an estate sale is this barn door roller. Heavy patina(aka rust) The only hallmarks I can find is“15” on the bracket near one of the rollers– see photos. Each roller is about 4 ¾ inches across and 1 inch wide. Overall measurements about 24 inches from the top of the bracket to the bottom of the rollers and 9 ¾ inches long(from roller to roller) The rollers are rusted in position and don’t move. A pair of FE Myers door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 3 1/4" wheels turn freely. These rollers are in good working condition. They come with 4 good working bolts and square nuts. The 8' 8" track pc is good and straight with all the original wall brackets there and well connected. It comes with 18 square headed lag bolts or screws. These rollers were off a RR depot"highdock" It was a small offloading building for a train and its floor was around the same height as the floor of a boxcar so they could unload the boxcars easier. These rollers had so many coats of red paint on them that the lettering was hardly readable. So I stripped off most of the paint and carefully cleaned them up. A pair of antique myers stayon adjustable[pat May 28 01] tandem wheel door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 2 5/8" wheels turn freely. On one wheel on the front side of it one can see in the picture that it has a tiny"pc or fleck missing" I think that this was done in the original casting process. And the roller worked just fine for many a year like that and I see it to be no problem. These rollers are in very good working condition. All of the adjustment screws and nuts can be turned with ones fingers. They come with 6 good working bolts and square nuts to connect the"hanger plates" to the door. The track pc is 6' by 1 1/4" by 3/16" and it is good and straight with all of the wall brackets there and well connected. It was sandblasted and painted. The rollers were stripped and cleaned and ... morecarefully handpainted to give them an unique look. These rollers were off an old"grainery" and someone must have oiled the wheel bearing now and then to keep them in this kind of condition. A pair of old retired barn door rollers that are non-working but they still have a lot of good old stories to tell. I have them wired to an old oats bin door that was part of the 3rd level floor out of an older"bank barn" Which would be a larger barn with a built up dirt and gravel ramp for the horses to go up to get to the second level. The casting on one has a crack where the strap goes through on the 1st louden machy co roller. The second"chipped" roller is sure grip[which I think is. Or soon became myers] The small door measures 18" by 16" tall and it is made out of white pine. The louden roller was off the same barn as was the"valentines day" set of rollers.
