Offered are these two lanes parlor door hangers. There is still some of the marking still visible on one and I have shown this in the pictures. I don't really know anything about these. They were something I purchased for a barn door and they didn't work on the set-up I already and so I'm moving them along. They are very rust it I believe still very function. The adjustment screws need a little WD 40 but I didn't want to do that before mailing them. They have pat. Dates of 1890 and 1891. 8 Antique Iron Hinges, Barn, Shed, Door, Gate, Old, Vtg, Farm Hardware, 2 Sizes
Eight old steel barn door hinges. Uncleaned with various paint and patina. Five are matching but one has an extra hole drilled in it. One of them has a bent strap but could be straightened easily. The straps for these measure 7 3/4" from the hinge point, each weighs 1 3/4 lbs. The three smaller hinges have straps just under 6" long from the pivot. One of these is frozen and will require a little"love" These are dirty and rusty but with no visible damage other than noted. Please see my other listings for more old hinges and hardware. Pulley's, yoke, cow drinking cups and much of the misc. cast iron, comes from the country home that was built in the 1800's, it was at one time a dairy farm. Lots of treasures left behind. This track hardware is missing the wheel. The writing on it is legible and the cast iron hardware is solid, it has not been cleaned and I believe the surface rust could be removed at least most of it. Up for auction is a set of hardware for a thumb latch barn door.these are from the inventory from a hardware store that went out of business 30+ years ago.I cannot guarantee these are NOS. But I do believe they were.the handle has some rust on the back.which could be easily cleaned with steel wool.and will not affect the usefulness or appearance. As you can see much of the original paint is in place.To the best of my knowledge these all went together.but cannot guarantee it.all should work together without issue. Very Old Barn Door with sliding rod system hardware
78 inches tall. By 41 1/2 inches wide, with 8 foot long bar that rollers move along to open and close. This is an authentic, very weathered old barn door. It has not been protected from the elements, and has typical results due to insects and water for it's age. This door would do fine inside as an interior door, and would bring a truly rustic feel to any décor. These doors sell with hardware from $550.00 to $1500.00, but I am asking $425.00 due to condition. Hardware itself worth approximately $300.00 at many sights.
