this is an exquisite antique art deco glass ceiling mount chandelier. it is electric and has a wonderful look to it. the main part of the lamp is a beautifully shaped clear glass. And the socket comes off of the bottom where the light bulb screws into. it has its original chain and ceiling canopy. And is white in color which has beautiful ware to it,nice rare piece to give it its antique look. it is wired up to the chain and then cut. Condition is as follows/ shown: Light does work however the wiring is 80+ years old and should be updated. The sockets look and check out great. The pan, ceiling canopy and stalk are void of breaks, cracks, lines, repairs, repaint etc.The original polychrome paint on the pan is beautiful as shown with only sporadic small areas of wear. Offered here is a rare. 3-hue, Art Deco Machine Age five-arm chandelier in excellent original condition. The predominant metal is polished chrome. The arms are brass. The lower end of the stem, and the reverse finial securing the bottom are dark copper/bronze colored. The original globes have an iridescent band at the mouth, abstract embossed designs in two circumferential bands. They are in excellent condition except for scattered areas where the black painted bands have some color loss. One socket has a crack that has no effect on function. There are fine scratches on the chrome. The drop from ceiling to the bottom of the globes is 23 inches. The diameter is 20 inches. Unless you have very high ceilings. It's beautiful both day and night as the light filters through the soft pink shade. The chain is approximately 14 inches. The diameter of the shade is a large 14.5 inches. A wonderful nickel plated solid brass art deco chandelier with 3 beautiful opalescent shades. This model is always unsigned yet most likely to be a production of Ezan a French glass factory from the town of Ezanville near Paris. The shades show beautiful tones of blue and amber depending the angle of the light shining on them as we know from the best opalescent glasses like Sabino Verlys or Ezan pieces. The chandelier is in very good condition. I have renickeled the mounting. One cup has a tiny chip on the inside of teh rim. Another cup has 3 small chips on the inside. Non of them are disturbing and won´t be noticed once the shades are mounted. The chandelier is rewired and has european E14 sockets. André Delatte Wonderful french 1920-25 art deco chandelier in wrought iron with shades in glass paste signed A.Delatte Nancy. Often André Delatte used black ink to sign his glasses. The signatures are vague and on some shades almost gone but traces are still visible. André Delatte(1887-1953) was the private banker of the Muller freres company and thats how he came in touch and fell in love with art nouveau and art deco glassware. He took up a study in chemistry and in 1919 he started to work for Muller decorating vases. In 1921 he opened his own workshop in Jarvil. The outskirts of Nancy. It became a welknown small glass company making mainly glas paste vases and shades for lighting. And was especially successful with the beautiful mottled structures of Delattes colored pieces. It hard a hard time during the 1928 crisis and ... moreclosed down in 1933. After which André moved to the south of France and to work in insurances. Marvelous Art Deco Painted luster glass ceiling light fixture. The fixture has been cleaned and upper chain rewired. The mounting hardware is included and ready for use. The antique painted pressed glass stem compliments the shade. The glass shade is in very good condition with raised unpainted patterns wich allow the light through. The shade is not clear glass it has a luster finish to it. The fixture has brass and uranium type glass finial which will glow under a black light. A glass pattern and brass washer complement the shade. This hanging fixture would come down around 25 inches on the current chain. The gold painted chain can be shortened if needed. Here is a really uniquely designed Antique Hanging Ceiling Light Fixture. Definitely one of my favorites! This fixture is from 30's or 40's and is a cream color with chrome accents. It hangs from a ceiling medallion and also has a cream rod between. Measures approx. 15" in diameter and 13" to the top of the rod. There is an additional 15" to the top of the ceiling plate. You can add more or less chain as desired. Still has the cloth wire so it will need to be rewired. It looks like a fairly simple fixture to rewire. You will find tiny chips along the interior of the glass(doesn't show once placed inside) You will also find a few spots of paint that has rubbed off along the edge. Not too bad for such an old fixture in original condition. Beautiful 1930's Aluminum& Brass Art Deco 2 Light Slip Shade Chandelier Ceiling Fixture with two(2) shades. The fixture is 16" tall and about 12"14" wide. This striking fixture is in very good condition. The wiring has been replaced. But not sure about the sockets, which are moveable, making it easier to change bulbs. There are a few small chips on the shades, mainly around mounting openings, as shown in pictures, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the chandelier. There are five large curved and arched brass arms which rise out of the brass finial area. The 5 arms house large, bell shaped white opalescent milk glass shades. The shades have gold gilded bands on their upper and lower sections. The chandelier also retains their original chain and matching ceiling cover canopies.
