The light reflects so well off the the candle wick detailing that runs from top to bottom. It is blue with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. All components are in excellent condition and are from the mid century era. The shade and stem compliment each other nicely. The shade measures about 12 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The metal components have been sanded and repainted a glossy white. The original Leviton porcelain socket has been rewired and accepts a 150 watt bulb. This amazing light fixture hangs 16 inches from the ceiling. The mounting hardware will be included. Antique Art Deco Skyscraper Light Fixture - Milk Glass - Vintage Chandelier
Available here is an antique art deco light fixture. It has a beautiful skyscraper style milk glass shade. The shade is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It has a 6" fitter. The shade only stands approximately 11.5" tall and is approximately 12" across at its widest. The fixture looks to be brass and has been partially painted over. I am not sure of the best way to remove the paint and will let the new owner decide what to do. It has the original socket and cloth wrapped wiring. I have not tested it and would recommend rewiring it for safety. Rewiring this would be pretty simple since it is a single socket. When hung. Very Hard to find and and lovingly restored to a brilliant blend of golds. Greens, red, copper, bronze and oil rubbed to enhance detail. Fixtures from this period were made with care and great thought. Everything about them was made to last. Th is is a five light chandelier with five arms that hold chains that lead to a small bonnet and that is where the canopy me ets. The arms hold a cons olidated glass slip on smoke bell over each socket. The glass is in great condition with some minor not noticeable age chips around the edges. For the age they are exceptional. The flash from the camera bri ngs the colors out brighter. Actually the gold is brilliant against the bronze and brass, but not so bright as in picture 4 and 2. Appears to be original finish. The measurement along the bottom is just over 2 1/2" and widens off to approx. 5" From the base to the top of the inside opening. rare Virden signed 1930 amber yellow satin glass slip shade fixture. hard to find and would match the five light version of this style fixture. More yellow, one of the shade is slightly darker and could be seen in the pictures. there are chips on the inner edges that are hidden when installed. Markel Art Deco Chandelier Custard Cup Shades 3 Light
Three bulb custard cup chandelier manufactured by Markel Electric Co. with original custard cup shades. Chandelier body was disassembled and bead blasted to remove the dilapidated original finish. Repainted a neutral tan color very similar to the original paint. Lastly. Gold accents were applied by hand to produce a period appropriate restoration grade finish. Outstanding Set of French Modernist Brass Art Deco Chandelier and Lamps A stunning and extremely rare combination of a five light Art Deco chandelier and a pair of matching double lamps. In the French modernist style they are brass with stylish angular glass adding to the characteristic Art Deco look. The chandelier has five gently curving arms extending from the centre and the lampholders are a striking geometric glass base with a tiered brass cup at the top. At the top of the central column is a header rose identical to the cups on the arms and the column itself comprises of five sections of lustrous glass separated by solid brass rings. The centre body of the light is plain. As is the ceiling rose, and has brass button to complete the base. The matching pair of lamps sit on domed circular bases. And the arms stretch across in a curve that ... moremirrors the arms on the chandelier. They have glass light supports identical to those found on the central column of the chandelier and simple brass cups for the lampholders. As you will see from the photographs the chandelier and lights all have matching pale shades with a brocaded trim. But they all look just as striking with or without them. The lights are all in sublime condition. All the glass is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks or fogging. The brass has no dents and a superb vintage patina, the chandeliers surface shows some blemishes that could be polished up if you wish, however this is a decision I leave to the customer. Aluminum Art Deco Chandelier Mirror Slip Shades Unique
Cast aluminum Art Deco Chandelier probably manufactured by Lincoln. Illumination is produced by 5 exposed bare bulbs in ceramic sockets and one socket centrally located behind the etched glass panels with mirrored accents. The fixture is 17" wide and 32" long. All sockets have been rewired with period appropriate cloth covered wire. One wire is solid white and the second wire is white with a gold tracer. All gold accents on the aluminum body have been repainted by hand. Bulbs not included and were used for display purposes only. I believe the chain and canopy are reproduction. The light fixture complete extends/drops from the ceiling by about 36" I have about 1' of chain that I removed to shorten the length. I will include this with this sale. The ceiling canopy is a replacement in solid copper. The antique fitting is original to the shade. It is copper with it's original brass loops and chain. I have recently polished the top of the copper fitting, and the canopy. They will darken very fast unless polished. Rare cast aluminum art deco 5 light slip shade fixture from the 1930's. Body was disassembled. Cleaned, reassembled, and rewired. Shades are in less than perfect condition, but look great when installed and illuminated. Each shade does have imperfections. Some exhibit chipped tips, chipped tabs along the edges, and spots in the finish. See images 1-12 above. As the title says I am also including an extra perimeter shade. Antique Slip Shade Chandelier Vintage Slipper Art Deco Gold Restored Nouveau Old
Offered here is a unique slip shade chandelier. Made by the Sears company during the 1920's. This fixture has been restored, rewired and inspected by our restoration staff. This chandelier measures 24" tall by 19" wide. And includes 36" of chain and a matching ceiling canopy. This piece has five light sockets, each accepting one 100 watt Edison based light bulb.
