It seems to come off easily when I scrape with my fingernail so wont be a problem. Chandelier is approx 12 1/2" in diameter. VTG 30S BLUE ART DECO RIBBED GLASS SHADE CRYSTAL CHANDELIER LIGHT FIXTURE
Very nice light fixture. Featuring an antique blue glass shade with ribbed design, glass inserts on the rod and new chrome canopy. This is finished off with a brass and glass ball finial(the canopy being chrome and the finial being brass blends nicely, the fixture looks really beautiful with the two metals mixed. There is a small bit of paint loss on the edge of the shade(pictured last) which looks like a production flaw, it's not noticeable and the fixture still displays very nicely. New 2 cluster socket and wiring, works perfectly. Sockets will take 60 watt bulbs each, so this can put out 120 watts if needed. We are pleased to offer this stunning. Antique(1920s) Moe Bridges chandelier. This is a beautiful, Art Deco chandelier. It features gilded iron with ornate and opened design. There is an intricate incised pattern which is repeated throughout the fixture. There are some lovely areas of polychrome in a dark teal green. This is most predominant on the exceptional top finial. This is a three light fixture. It is not slip shade and is not made for shades of any fashion. We have used antique reproduction light bulbs(not included) to complete the look. The fixture is signed inside the gorgeous ceiling plate/canopy. The chandelier is in very good condition. It has not been restored and still retains its original finish. 1930's Art Deco Glass Slip Shade Chandelier Pendant Light Fixture Lincoln Era
Do you have a lighting fixture that works but is lacking in style? It's time to upgrade- with this beautiful and rare Art Deco slip shade chandelier! Three frosted glass shades with a classic Art Deco design slide into a bronze finished six-sided chandelier frame decorated in a stylized floral and geometric pattern. On the bottom of the chandelier hangs a large pendant. The chandelier has three light sockets with their original wiring(still in good shape) that rise up through a central stem to a great"Levolier" in-line pull switch before ending in the original copper colored ceilingcanopy. The ceiling mount assembly even has its original mounting hardware so it's ready to go! There's no manufacturer name on the chandelier(as is the case with most chandeliers) But"B 57" is stamped in three places. We know that ... morea company called Lincoln made many of these but we can't be certain about this one. We're not sure what the base metal is, but it has a bronze patina and a magnet doesn't stick to it. Aside from its compact shape that allows this chandelier to be installed in a hallway, Kitchen, covered porch, foyer, office, breakfast room, bedroom, etc. what makes it special is that it can easily be disassembled for maintenance or repair AND comes with its three original shades! Antique and vintage lighting fixtures with a missing shade or ones with big cracks or other damage are quite common on eBay. But this chandelier- which is likely 80+ years old- has its original trio of shades, which contain only the inherent imperfections that occurred in the manufacturing process. There are no repairs or breakage anywhere on this chandelier! La Maîtrise- Dufrene A rare french 1925-1930 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holding a shade by la Maîtrise. The suspension has a drop of 43 cm(17" and a diameter of 34.7 cm(13-3/4" It's in good condition. I have renickeled the fixture. And it comes newly wired. The chandelier holds a European E27 socket. For Australia the UK or France I can place a BC bayonet cap one. I will rewire the lamp for the US and Canada with a new US standard socket. Between 1920 and 1935 some designers had their own companies with their own shops. Think about Lalique. Daum, Muller, Süe et Mare, Genet et Michon, etc. Others worked for these companies. Like Pierre d’Avesn who started at Lalique and later on worked for Daum and verreries des Hanots. But also many of the large department stores in Paris had their ... moreown design studios. The store Printemps had their brand Primavera. Bon Marché had Pomone, Le Bucheron had le Sylve and the well known Galleries Lafayette had their brand La Maîtrise. This decorative art workshop was directed by the decorator Maurice Dufrene(1876-1955) Jacques Adnet nowadays an icon of French modernism as well as his brother Jean Adnet worked for la Maîtrise untill 1928. In 1928 Adnet took over the company Süe& Mare founded in 1919 La Compagnie Des Arts Français. But thats another story. Many of these design studios of department stores had their own pavilions at the major design exhibitions. La Maîtrise was represented at the famous 1925 Art Décorative exhibit with interiors designed by Dufrene. Of which by the way the Parisian blacksmith M.Vasseur was responsable for the metal work. The three side shades are signed Verreries des Hanots France. The large bowl is a model made by Hanots but like many of their models this one is always unsigned. Verreries des Hanots is like Verlys one of the names the large company Holophane used for their production of art glasses. The lovely and very well made fixture of this chandelier is marked RM on several of its parts. I wasn't able to track down the full name of mister R.M. designing this lamp. But have and had several other beautiful mountings bearing the same marks(see last two pics) The chandelier is in excellent condition. I have renickeled and patinated the mounting. His son Henri Petitot took over in 1917. He wasn't a retailer at first and sold his lights to lamp shops all over France. Europe and the States. In the early days of art deco they produced precious fixtures in high quality bronze with shades from the best french glass factories such as verreries des Hanots Muller freres and Degué. In the late 30's they changed their style and produced lights in a modernist look which often had opalescent shades in bluish semi-crystal by the Ezan glass company. André Neut A very rare french 1925-1930 art deco eight light chandelier in nickel plated bronze holding 8 shades in moulded-pressed glass. André Neut was a french designer with a lighting shop in Paris. The shades of this large chandelier were ordered at the famous glass factory of Charles Schneider. All eight shades are signed A.Neut but the slip shades can also be found with the signature of Schneider and the outside shades exist in an unsigned version as well. Meaning this model glasses were not exclusively made for André Neut but could be ordered at Schneider by each designer or retailer and Neut ordered them with his own signature pressed in the glass. The shade in thick pressed-moulded opalescent glass in a geometrical pattern is typical for Ranc production of the late 30ies. The company started in 1909. After the first worldwar this Paris based company(rue Amelot. Bastille) became succesfull with a line of lighting in neo-classical style. Often gilded bronze fixtures holding coloured glass-paste Schneider shades. Around 1930 they changed style into a more modernist look. Nickel plated bronze or coppered brass mountings using opalescent shades of the EZAN glass factory. Almost all these shades are either unsigned or signed Ezan france. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. ONE OF A KIND, CUSTOM MADE chandelier. This GORGEOUS fixture is approximately 15 years old and was custom ordered for the previous owner who owned and operated a large equine boarding/riding stable facility. The owner passed away and we were fortunate to purchase this spectacular fixture at auction. The chandelier is Art Deco in form and features 8 arms/lights. Four of the arms display large, Waterford or Baccarat styled glass/crystal horses which are attached to the center chandelier body in"hitching post" fashion. These molded sculptures have a silver colored, cast metal mane which fits perfectly over the glass. Each horse has reigns which are made of rhinestone chains. These chains capture the light and sparkle like diamonds. They attach at the horse's mane and travel upward where ... morethey attach to the upper body of the fixture(hitching post) The other 4 arms of the chandelier alternate in between the horses and they are raised. All of the bobeches are thick, square glass/crystal and have a very slight curvature/dip in the middle. They slide off of the candle sleeves easily and are held on by the light bulbs. The candle sleeves are also metal with a silvered finish. The chandelier has a brown, leather wrapped center column/body. The cross arms, which house the horse figures, are also leather wrapped with metal trim. This is an incredible fixture. There are no manufacturer's marks but this is an extremely well made piece of art. It is in very good condition with only EXTREMELY minor signs of age/use. There is nothing distracting, only a couple of VERY minor(almost indiscernible) scuffs to the leather. The wiring is in very good condition and the chandelier is in good, working order and is ready to hang. The chandelier utilizes 25 watt candelabra bulbs. The ceiling cover/canopy is included with the chandelier. The black shades pictured are included as they did come with the fixture. However, they do show some aging, i.e. the fabric has some general pilling

Maker: Renowned glass artists"Muller Freres" from Luneville(bowl is signed) Materials: The center bowl of the chandelier is made out of thick-walled. Molded glass. The glass is frosted and shows some clear polished elements(to accentuate the decor) The glass bowl shows a great flying birds decor. The suspension is completely made out of solid bronze and the three applications are showing a fine and detailed leafs decor. The canopy is also made out of bronze cast and is adorned with acanthuses. The chandelier is equipped with three bulb sockets, so the center bowl gives of a bright light and becomes equally illuminated. Measurements: The total height of the chandelier is 24.4" 62 cm) The center ... morebowl has a diameter of 13.8" 35 cm) The canopy has a diameter of 6.7" 17 cm) Condition: The chandelier is in very good. A vintage light fixture ceiling canopy made of steel. The actual canopy is apr. 5 3/4 inches in diameter and apr. 3 1/2 inches tall or apr. 5 inches to the top of the pipe. Under the layers of old paint a person can make out the design in the canopy. We did not notice any damage. Dents, splits, etc. The pictures should show the rest. It is made of metal however I cannot determine what type of metal it is made from. I have not tested this unit so I am unsure if it works. This chandelier weighs 4 pounds and measures 19 and 1/2" tall by 16" across diagonally. There is wear present as well as one hanging strand of crystals missing. Vintage Lighting 20's Era Art Deco Chandelier!!
Up for auction is a very nice 1920's vintage Art Deco chandelier. It is overall in great condition. However. The pink material with the black fringe will need to be replaced. The metal circular base when manufactured was comprised of 6 individual pieces that are welded together. Two of the seams were the upper portion is attached to the base have some separation from the screw hole to the top of the base. These blemishes can be seen in my pictures. I feel that the base is structurally stable, but I just wanted to mention this so there will be no surprises. When shipped I plan to take the base and upper portion apart and put in two boxes. Restored 1920s Vintage Art Deco Glass Flush Mount Light Fixture Chandelier
This is a clear and frosted shade with a very strong Art Deco leaf design. It's simple. But very striking. It has a small chunky glass column for a little touch of sparkle on the canopy. This a flush mount fixture. And only hangs 11" from the ceiling. It's perfect for lots of impact in a small room with a low ceiling. This would be gorgeous in an entryway or powder bath. It's really beautiful when lit. The shade measures 10 inches in diameter. The hardware. And canopy is dark antique brass finish. The shade hangs by three silver tone chains with a sparkle bead on the ends. This fixture has a brand new triple socket and new wiring. It takes three standard size light bulbs. A really nice feature of old glass is that it gives off a beautiful warm glow no matter what kind of bulb you use. In the pictures above. Restored Vintage Art Deco Glass Light Fixture Chandelier 1 of 2!
This beautiful vintage light fixture features a thick. Heavy, textured, light golden, glass shade with a wheat pattern on it that gives off a gorgeous warm glow when lit. The rim is clear and scalloped and refracts light beautifully. There is antique brass center column with an acanthus leaf design that holds six crystal prisms. The shade hangs by three chains with a small crystal bead and crystal rosette on the ends. The canopy is antique brass. This QUALITY light is one of my favorite from the past and was of the Highest Quality in its era you will find. The shade is JUST STUNNING with a clear glass design that would compliment any decor. Art Deco, Victorian, Nouveau. The Large thick cream beige colored shade is Beautifully designed with a very fancy 3D design that is Just Amazing! WOW! When lit the thick 3D clear glass pattern in the shade just comes alive with a Beautiful lighting display. The flush mount fixture is just as Beautiful with a pattern glass ribbed center stem with dangling crystal prisms. When lit this will have you a AWE! they way the light filters through the clear glass and the prisms reflecting ... moreoff the wall. It is a BEAUTY! It measures 11" down from the ceiling not measuring the finial/hanging crystal. The shade measures near 13" in diameter. In Excellant vintage condition. The slip shade is Amber Satin with a raised Fleur de lis pattern. The slip shade has a 1" fracture located on the side where the fluer de lis pattern ends so it blends right in!
