Antique 1920's Art Deco Glass Crystal & Brass 5 Arm Chandelier Hanging Light
Antique 1920's Art Deco Crystal& Brass 5 Arm Electrified Chandelier This is old. Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great Art Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. Antique 1920's Art Deco 5 Light Ceiling Fixture Pewter Finish Chandelier
Up for auction is a beautiful vintage 1920's Art Deco style hanging ceiling chandelier with a pewter finish. This is an original fixture with old black cardboard sockets and cloth wire but works fine and the wire is in great shape. This was meant to take the large bulbs as shown in the photos. Nice large socket bobesches add a flare to each light. The center has a long sold brass heavy weight that is meant to center the fixture. Mounts to a typical Victorian ceiling mount that can be found at any Home Depot. Measures 17" tall off the ceiling and 21" wide. Solid Brass Art Deco Hanging Light Chandelier with Deco Shades
I love this fixture. I got it several years ago in Pasadena. California and I used to have it hanging in my apartment in Los Angeles. I had it rewired about four years ago and it still looks very sound and was working perfectly when I took it down. It is solid brass and has just the right amount of shine and patina. Five brass arms hold five brass shade bells-each has its own on/off switch(I left them all on and used the wall switch to turn it on& off) It comes with five matching pink deco shades. They look like depression glass-partly frosted and partly clear. They are in perfect shape with no chips or cracks. It has amazing details! It measure about 16" from the bottom finial to the top where the chain begins. It is about 17" wide. There is about 11" of chain attached. Description: This beautiful chandelier has a large. Thick glass shade measuring 16-1/2 inches wide. The shade is frosted on the inside and textured on the outside with a raised pattern. Part of the bottom of the shade is also frosted, and the rest clear. Beautiful! The clear glass center column has eight new hand-cut Czech crystal prisms. All of the glass is in fantastic condition with no chips or cracks. There is one shallow flake on the inside of one of the top scallops of the shade. This is not noticeable. The last photo shows a close-up. There are also some light scratches on the bottom clear section. If you looking at this auction. You know who this is and what these are worth. This globe dates back to the 1910 to 1920’s period. It’s a very good condition. The only 2 flaws I seen are on top 2 small pieces are chipped away. This is not visible from the bottom, once you hang this chandelier globe. I only have the globe and the original decorative attachments, which I believe these are silver plated bronze and have a nice age patina. On the inside, sockets are screwed onto these attachments. On these attachments, you can hang either chain or a robe kind of attachment, which was used in those time, but not on these chandeliers. This is just for your information and an idea. ... moreYou can see in one of the pictures, the signature. This is an original one, not a copy. Diameter is 14 ¼” and height is 4” The sockets that are inside are old US sockets and hold us candelabra base sockets if you wish to use these. This is a clam shell style shade. It is Art Deco style. The color is a peach color and there is a mother of pearl look to it- maybe carnival glass? It is just under 5 1/2" across and about 4" tall. As you can see from the photos the opening is on the side. There are two chips in the shade- one is on the top and the other on the right side. See photos.

Has a peach/orange round glass shade with a gorgeous decorative glass stem/arm up to a chain and ceiling bracket. This light is very old. The inside wire is cloth covered wire with glass/ceramic wire caps. I believe it was originally wired directly to the ceiling, however at some point it was changed to a plug. Works well. The glass top has some paint residue from the chain and bracket, it also has 2 small cracks. They are hard to see, I tried to show in pictures 6 and 9. The chandelier is equipped with six lampshades, made out of thick-walled, molded glass. Each lampshade is adorned with a melting icicle decor. The surface of the lampshades is mostly frosted with some clear-polished elements in it. Each lampshade is signed with Ezan. The center is equipped with largish glass icicle elements. Here is an authentic vintage circa guesstimating 1930’s-1940’s sparkling crystal glass and silver metal waterfall or wedding cake type chandelier or ceiling light fixture. It has an embossed silver ring at the top from which which three tiers of high quality cut crystal glass pendants hang down. Very Art Deco and sure to enhance any room in any decor from shabby chic to modern. Use in bathroom. Hallway, dining room, bedroom or living room. Beautiful deco floral embossing on a large heavy pink 14" glass shade. Faceted crystal accents are off set with square slightly pink tinted crystal accents on the center stem. With a square glass ceiling mount which also has angular design elements with floral embossing. The design of this piece has unlimited design applications. Very rare shade design Piece measures from the flush edge of the ceiling mount to the tip of the finial 20" in hang length. This is a very heavy piece. It has many glass elements and all together weighs 9 lbs 2 ozs. The shade itself measures 14 1/2" across the square front width with a 19 3/4" diagonal width measurement. Huge. It has a cast pewter antique finial painted gold. The center stem with hanging loops measures 18" in length. Not counting finial] 9" of crystal and brass spacers on the center stem. The two main focal faceted crystals each measure 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" The square crystals have a slightly pink tint and measure 1 5/8" x 7/8" All metal components on the center mount stem are brass except the chain link, it looks to have had a plating on it. The glass ceiling mount itself measures 5 1/2" across the square front x 7 3/4" diagonal width across and stands 2 3/4" in height. There is a cross bar in side the mount for proper installation. Some of the shades have some damage. One has a crack on the outside next to seam. One has crack on outside on top and bottom that are only on outside and have not gone thru due to glass of 1/4 inch at that point. One shade has chip on top rim and side. One has a chip on the top inside. I tried to show pictures of damage on this hard to find light. New sockets and new cloth covered braided wire were added for safety. This is a light blue shade with a raised Art Deco floral design in clear. This is a very simple. Yet elegant fixture. It has a small chunky glass column for a little touch of sparkle on the canopy. Very nice light fixture. Featuring an antique glass shade with clear and pink satin glass design and"bubble" detail, glass inserts on the rod also with bubble design, and new glass ball finial. Most of the glass in this piece is antique with the exception of the finial. New chrome canopy and 3 cluster socket and wiring, works perfectly. Sockets will take 60 watt bulbs each, so this can put out 180 watts if needed. You will need to use candelabra style bulbs as pictured so that they fit inside the shade, they can be purchased in any store that sells bulbs, they have a standard base but flame shaped glass bulb. 12" drop from the ceiling, 12" across the shade. This 1930's cast aluminum chandelier is marked Riddle. It has it all! Nice fancy designs with incredible detail from the period with the matching center stem and very fancy ceiling canopy. MULLER FRERES & PETITOT : FRENCH 1930 ART DECO CHANDELIER ...... lamp suspension
PETITOT& MULLER You´re bidding on a french 1920-1930 art deco suspension in solid bronze by Henri Petitot holding a beautiful glass paste shade by Muller freres. The bronze maker Antonin Petitot started his company in 1878. His son Henri took over in 1917. They had there own shop in Paris yet primarily were a wholesale selling their lamps to shops all over France Europe and the States. Together with Hettier& Vincent they became the largest producer of French art deco lighting in the early 30ies. Petitot produced precious fixtures in high quality heavy bronze with shades from the best French glass manufactorers such as Muller freres. The suspension on offer here is a fine example of their 1925-1930 production. Like most Petitot lamps the fixture is marked AP on several spots(AP for Antonin Petitot and not for'atelier Petitot' ... morelike many sellers state copying mistakes of others) The lamp on offer is a larger than usual fixture. The superb Muller shade has a diameter of no more than 41 cm(16-1/8" I don't buy many colored glass paste Muller bowls. Matter of personal tatse finding most of them inferior to Daum or Schneider ones. But some Mullers are exceptional and have such nice colors and mottled textures my taste proofs wrong. The Muller fres Luneville signed shade of this Petitot suspension is just superb. On a creme colored base a wide range of deep intens colors are shown. Both with the light of and on this bowl is a true jewel. The suspension has a drop of 52 cm(20-1/2" and a diameter of 41 cm. It's a good quality solid and very heavy mounting nothing like the ones we see on offer all the time. With little value that are made out of thin pressed brass. The chandelier in excellent condition. I have cleaned the fixture a nd protected it with an invisible layer against oxidation. It comes newly wired. Ready to place. The chandelier holds three European E14 candelabra base sockets. Vintage Original Restored 30s Art Deco Chandelier RARE Cream Glass Sunflower Shade#498. I hardly know where to begin. This chandelier has so many outstanding qualities! It features one of the most sought after, if not THE most sought after, glass shade of all time; the stunning sunflower shade. The color is the rarest of all, it has a very pale cream tint. It is shown here with all of its ORIGINAL glass and fixture hub- another rarity! It has been taken apart. Fully cleaned, straightened out, and made solid and sturdy with new hardware where needed. It has been rewired and RESTORED, and has a new crystal finial(original, silver finished, bullet shaped, unrestored finial also included UPON REQUEST) matching antique glass ceiling piece, and new brass plated ceiling cap for ease of mounting. It did not have a bobeche with holes, or crystals hanging from it when it was made in the 1930's. The shade is in near mint condition- There is not a single fleabite on any of the petal tips! it has a very minor flaky-type chip on one of the scallops at the top edge. One petal tip has a dot of paint loss. See pics which were taken larger than life so you can see. You do not notice any of this when installed. You would have to be close up right on it to notice. The flaws are miniscule. And would not be mentioned by most sellers and would be listed merely as in mint, unblemished condition. No other cracks chips, color loss, etc. The color is so unique and rare! Most common is white, pink and green are sometimes seen also, but you will be hard pushed to find another one like this on ebay, or anywhere. It's just that scarce. Stunning Art Deco Glass Globe Pan Light-Circa 1920- This was an original fixture in the townhouse attached to the old"Morrie's" Grocery store in Delaware. Ohio built around 1920. The chandelier has been completely cleaned. Repaired, and rewired, including vintage cloth wiring. It also has antique fat boy ceramic sockets that have been inspected renewed and fitted with new insulators. The top of the sockets have a patten date of July, 14th 1914. I always try to work with what a piece gives me. This one had great patina on the bobeches and the ornate arms for the hanging lights. The globe of course was the center piece. The globe is a light pink with etched filagree and three beautiful soft green Roman Venus's evenly spaced around the glass. I accented the pan body with five hand layered colors with the dominant color being ... moreantique sage green. This worked great with the exisiting patina and brought out the colors in the globe as well. I put enough color and finish on it to bring out the stunning detail but left much of the great patina as found. Includes original matching ceiling cap. The pictures tell the story. Professionally restored by experienced restoration artist. Buy with confidence. PS: I also have a medium size pan light that came from this same home.
